All of a sudden I lost my internet connection wireless and I am unable to return.  May be because recent windows update.  Error messages on the wireless assistant say WLAN offshore or disabled.  I have tried every fix.

In device Manager (under network adapters) shows also that MS ISATAP disabled with "Windows cannot load driver (Code 31).  When I try to update the driver, "Best driver already installed" appears.

Is there a way to FIX?

  • Q10 Q10 blackBerry WIFI - browser error - could not resolve the host name

    Hello

I use my Q10 while overseas for the Wifi only. My SIM card is in my 9900 (thank you BB not to tell anyone that BIS no longer works and WW BB roaming is not until after people buy OS 10 devices, anyway...) but I want to use the Q10 for Skype, browsing and Email while on WIFI.

    Skype works.

Browser gives "Could not resolve the host name" and charge no emails.

WiFi network is good (the 9900 is connected and works, as do other devices). I reset the phone, router, etc. etc.

    All to nothing does not.

A telephone conversation of two hours with T-Mobile (from abroad) was unnecessary and disconnected.

All DNS data seems to be there.

    Please help.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Problem solved.

I have reset the router before, nothing helps. The only way I got it work is as follows:

    (1) turn off the router and wait for the phone to 'do not see' to the network in question.

    (2) turn off Wifi on the phone (menu setting and tap on wifi)

    (3) restart router

    (4) restart the phone

After about 10 minutes, it is finally connected.

    Thank you all,

I would BB would have simply kept the features of the 9900 and just made more attractive to the masses, instead of making an iphone with a keyboard...

  • BlackBerry Wifi classic takes into account people with disabilities

All my wifi accounts have for some unknown reason unilaterally disabled themselves.  I went on the account I use normally and tried to turn it into active, but it does not work.  I've restarted both my router and my Blackberry.  The router works fine for my laptop.  I tried to connect using WPS without result.  I also double-checked that the password of the account is correct.

Can anyone suggest how I can make it work again, please?

Try to delete that saved WiFi, reboot your Classic with press button 10 seconds then re - connect to the WiFi.

  • BlackBerry unlocked - unlocked Q10 Q10

I have a BB of Q10, purchased from Rogers in the Canada. I bought outright and then paid rogers to unlock the device because I travel quite frequently to the Canada and the United States.

The phone seems to be open correctly. I used it on the Rogers network to the Canada since I bought it and I was able to use it with T-Mobile and Verizon SIM cards to the United States as well as wandering mobility. So I know that it is at least partially open, its different SIM cards at least 4 used different sellers.

I am now in Europe, Croatia to be exact and bought two SIM cards different from suppliers here (Tele2 and T-Mobile). However, the two cards when it is inserted into the device invites a notification "SIM card blocked The device is network locked. Contact your service provider. »

I spoke with the technical support of Rogers, they assure me that the device is unlocked and provided another code to do. When I go into settings > Security and privacy > card SIM screen says "the device is ready to be used on the network" (with T - Mobile SIM inserted). The options; Network subset and Service provider, all say UNLOCKED. There is no available option still unlock anything. Yet, I can't get the unit works on the network here. Is it still possible for a device to be unblocked at the regional level?

It is not a conflict of network, T-Mobile and Rogers are both HSPA/UMTS so the unit should work in theory.

Does anyone have experience with this? I'm running out of ideas, and it will suck really have to rely on Wifi for the next 3 weeks or have Rogers to pay $100 for a (criminal) roaming package

    Dan

I've never seen a 'regional' unlocked BlackBerry. It is a network locked or unlocked.

My guess would be a difference in band network in the region, that you travel. You can try 3G network settings and the test?

Settings > network connections and > Mobile network > Network Technology, what choice do you have here?

You will do the opposite of what is noted in this digital to enable WiFi sharing.

      1. On a Windows computer, open the run (hotkey Windows key + R) and type file:\\127.1.1.1 or \\127.1.1.1 (where 127.1.1.1 should be replaced by the actual IP address of the BlackBerry PlayBook)

  • Smartphones blackBerry WiFi email

Hello.  I get an occasional problem with wifi abroad (as today) where I can not get my emails.  WiFi is turned on, the work of the internet, data services are on, while homelessness is off.  BBM Messaging also does not work so I guess I can't pass on the Blackberry server for some reason any.    I tried a battery without effect pull.  Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

OK, I managed to solve the problem.

I find that sometimes happens on fi networks wi overseas.  Its normally fine but just sometimes can't do my emails via the wi - fi connection in a few hotels overseas.  Current problem in the JW Marriott Hong Kong.

For someone who is interested, here's how I solved it.

I turned on roaming back who will have undergone some roaming charges.

I went to the host and registered re routing table. See http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

I can not bear the maintenance book. See http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830

I disabled the roaming back so not of need not more profitable.

Now, everything is good! BBM and emails is functioning normally.

  • Email to Smartphones blackBerry & Wifi - overseas

    Hello!

I'm about to head overseas and must take my blackberry with me for calls/texts. I have currently push my emails on my BB but wonder if you can assign so even if the phone is turned on - emails will only check if connected to a Wifi hotspot or if there is some kind of send and receive some option? I'm still to upgrate to "BOLD", but it's my plan...

Basically, I don't want huge roaming charges, but want to be able to check my mails when connected to wifi...

Thank you in advance for your help!

It's true.  Data services refers to any BlackBerry data such as browsing, e-mail or application data.  Make sure prior to activation of your services data that you're connected to Wi - Fi.  If you want to make sure that no data is delivered through your connection to the Mobile network, disable it before you activate your data services.

Its a bit of a workaround heavy but it will certainly do the trick!

  • Tecra R950-15F - need to WiFi disabled by deafult

    Hi all

I'm new to the forum and I have a question whose answer
I couldn't find on the web and here in the forum (at least with my keywords; please direct me if failed).

For some time I am owner of a Tecra R950-15E running Win7 Pro 64-bit and am very satisfied with it.
The only thing that bothers me a bit is the Wi - Fi mode.
I know that by pressing "FN + F8" I can turn the wireless (WiFi and 3G) modes on and off.

It seems that by default the wireless modes are turned on after starting the system.
I would like to have everything turned off by deafult (primarily to conserve battery power) and only turn it on manually when I really need.

Now I have to do the reverse by turning off manually after the system starts and I have not found a setting to change to my preference.

Does anyone have an idea to fix it?

    Thank you
    tecra14

I m very surprised of your question here in the forum, because usually the laptop / system must remember the last State of Wi - Fi.
This means that Wi - Fi should remain disabled, in which case the WiFi has been disabled just before logging off the power.

Try reinstalling the driver WLan just to check if it would solve your tiny issue.
You will need to uninstall the WLan driver before you start a new installation.

  • Satellite A500-19N - Wifi disabled running Windows 7

    Hi @all,

I have a laptop SATELLITE A500-19N. My wlan collapsed on the overalls. Windows (7 65 bit) card says I should activate the hardware switch and the wireless communication is disabled. What I did:

Check the hardware switch: the Toshiba Assist and ConfigFree tool shows the switch works. If I press the switch of the tool recognices it. -> work

installed a linux live cd ubuntu: order of SAI rfkill list all the software bolocked:no and blocked material: Yes -> using fn + F8 succsessfuly toggels software blocked.

Windows: win + x opens windows mobility centen-> activate the wireless button is gray-> fn + F8 does nothing

Windows: installed value-added Package installed, uninstalled, reinstalled-> no change

activated the module with a module of 100% working-> the original toshiba module WiFi without problem in a nother notebook. If I put it in the satellite, it is blocked again. the other does'nt of work package also works in the satellite.

    So my question:
What else is there for me to Test? This component can be defect? What should I do? With the help of a dongle Wifi works but thas not really a solution for me.

    Best regards, Matthias

    Hello Matthias.

have you managed to solve this problem?
I have exactly the same problem you described. Wireless interface is down all of a sudden using xubuntu, and I wasn't able to make it work again.

Also disassemble the laptop to control the contactor, it works electrically ok.
Tried to boot into windows and clear cmos. Did not work.

    I'll apreciate any comment.

    Thank you

  • WIFI disabled, how to enable it?

    Hello!

So, yesterday my wireless was working absolutely fine, but then my younger sister had and I think she touched something and although in the end, now my WIFI is turned off.

I did the 'f-10' thing, but I couldn't find the built-in option to click,

and when I try to open up the networks connect to the wi - fi, it doesn't find the link or whatever it is.

I read everywhere and nothing works.

    Can someone help me... Please?

    Thanks in advance!

    product information:

    I have a laptop HP G60 - 630US

    Windows 7, Intel Pentium.

    Serial number: {removed privacy}

    Product number: WA573UA #ABA

You said he was disabled in a previous post...

If he won't change to blue which usually means that the driver must be reinstalled. It is something that can be handled from the Recovery Manager. No need to download anything.

Press the Start button of your laptop when it is off and then press the ESC key. On the start menu that appears choose recovery.  When you are already started in Windows an alternative is to select HP in all programs, then select Recovery Manager

Select the wireless network card driver, and then click Next.

  • WIFI disabled in HP Wireless Assistant

Hi all, I have a HP HDX18 laptop 1013tx, and everything was working fine until a few days ago.

After a complete restore of the system using the recovery partition, the HP Wireless Assistant has opened for the first time and said that the WIFI network has been disabled. Pressing the wireless button on the mobile turn Bluetooth on and outside, but the WLAN is stuck on disabled people. I tried reinstalling the drivers wireless Assistant HP, but it did not work. I even tried to physically pull out the card and replace it.

The only information I have is that the Wireless Assistant says that the WIFI network is disabled in the computer configuration utility which I guess is the BIOS that access you by pressing F10 at startup. The problem is that there is nothing in the BIOS that has nothing to do with disable it or activate the WLAN.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

OK, well, I've managed to solve my problem. After arriving to the conclusion that something was blocking the wireless to start, I rebooted my laptop in SafeMode with network. And that is, the wireless worked in safe mode. I just rebooted in windows, and the wireless remained on and functional. I hope this will help others who have the same problem.
