BlackBerry Z10 cannot connect Outlook Contacts and calendar

I've seen similar problems on this blog but could not find solutions so bear with me if anyone has an answer to repeat.

I bought a BB Z10 in March and use it with a PC equipped with Microsoft 13 - version 365.  I see all my emails, contacts, calendar and tasks for my Hotmail account.  I can get emails from my Outlook account.  When I contacted my service provider, they said that there is a problem with my internet provider (Fat Cow).  When I contacted them they said I had an add-on of my basic (surprise but OK!) package more additional 3rd party software software, which I went and saw a message, it does not support BBZ10 or Q10.

I can't seem to find an answer of Blackberry and the 3rd party provider does not support Z10

Maybe I should have listened to my wife and got an i-Phone

FYI to all who may read this and/or has helped.  Semi - operator error

I thought that I had updated my Blackberry link to the latest version.  Apparently I didn't.  Else that to be a slow process (at least with my computer) it syncs now when connected to my PC.  For the wireless sync, I think I need to upgrade to Microsoft Exchange.

Hope this helps users non-tech savay othe like me (if there are any).

Thanks for your help. I decided to check with my Blackberry service provider, and they were able to fix the problem by simply removing and then reinsert the cell phone battery while it was connected to my computer. The old trick 'the battery '. Never thought of that.

  • BlackBerry 10 Z10 does not synchronize contacts and calendar - Google Apps and Gmail

    Dear Sirs,

I am train back to use blackberry as my mobile platform by default and so I chose Z10.

The point is that I am facing problems to sync my contacts and calendar with my Gmail and Google Apps accounts. I already tried to add accounts in several ways (by default, Gmail, Microsoft Exchange Active Sync), but without success. Just email is syncing with the failure of Gmail.

    System was updated to 10.2.1

I am a blackberry lover and was trying to leave the Android platform. Please could someone help me?

    Thank you and best regards!

Your result from step 1 is exactly as planned... the built-in Wizard GMail via IMAP, which is used for email only. To add the calendar or contacts to an IMAP configuration, you must separately configure CalDav or Mac OS x Server.

Your result, however, in step 2 should not... it is indeed the exact method to integrate a Google Apps account with BB10 device, as long as you continued this process and fill in all the mandatory fields (server name, port, account information, etc.). Carefully note please that unless you are a subscriber to pay Google Apps, this method will not work for you unless you have previously configured it on the exact device on that you are trying to configure. Google has stopped support for free consumer EAS accounts some time previously and only allows such accounts for free on devices that have been previously configured before when they stopped this support. For any new device, only real paying subscribers of Google Apps can use EAS with Google... all others are limited (by Google) to IMAP/Mac OS x Server/CalDav.

    Good luck!

  • Synchronize the outlook contacts and calendar

I use Microsoft outlook on my laptop.  I want to be able to sync my contacts and calendar for iPad, mini iPad and iPhone without using iCloud or glasses.  There must be a way to do this.  If I update a calendar item or contacts on my iPhone I would also update on my laptop and other devices.   I see a lot of discussion about using iCloud or Google product for this.   I know that I can use iTunes and contact my devices in this way so they will update, but I was hoping that there is an easier way.

  • BlackBerry Z10 cannot connect to Exchange via Activesync

I was happy enough getting my hands on the new BB 10 but I was unable to connect to our Enterprise Server Exchange ActiveSync.  We have had absolutely no problems with the iPhones.

I was however able to get another employee connected.  When I try to connect using the same parameters as the employee who can connect, I get the error, "there was an unexpected error and the operation has been cancelled".  I created in Exchange to the Test account and am able to connect through this user.

I was on our 5 BES with my old camera but just removed and still does not work (grasp at straws). Any ideas what would be different in my Exchange account which does not allow my user to work?

Found the problem and fixed. I can now connect.  I had to check the box "Include the inharitable of the parent of this object permissions" in Active Directory.  It has now been verified.

Here are the instructions on how to do it.

  • Unable to sync Outlook Contacts and calendar for pre

I spent 8 hours or more trying to move my contacts to the front.  More than 2 hours with a Palm technician who sounded like he was asleep, knew very little about what he talked and eventually disconnected the call when everything he has tried has not worked. (I was not rude and was very patient with his lack of interest). Tried again today for 3 hours and eventually gave up and took the phone to the Sprint Store.  The hype on the phone was misleading on its incompatibility with Outlook. Being a small business, I don't have Microsoft exchange and do not have time to change my contacts to another system, such as Google or others.  I returned to my dinosaurs Palm 700 p that works very well and will update in 5 minutes. or less with my computer.   I hope that Palm will have a different point of view on the absence of HotSync direct phone/computer.   Otherwise nice phone and features, but must say that pre seems very fragile compared to the Treo and Blackberry. A major concern with the amount of abuse my Treo 700 p gets!

Check out my post. Not the ideal situation, but it might help.

  • BlackBerry Z10 cannot delete holidays in the calendar

Recently, Canadian holidays appeared on my calendar, I did not. I can't delete them. Since they are 'all day', they show first at the bottom of the calendar, and I have to scroll down to find my personal entries. I heard it is has something to do with the fact that is one of my email accounts gmail and I get the entries from there. Is this true?

No idea how to remove these entries from vacation?

    Thank you.

Who did.  Good to know that I can always 'untick' the holidays when I don't want to see them.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry software melt sync Outlook 2013 Contacts and calendar (installed version)?

With Outlook 2013 (64 bit in any case) Blackberry supports more synchronization with link (apparently and other posts).

I'll buy a passport, if the synchrnoization was incorporated with mixture but not otherwise.

I'm ONLY interested in Contacts and calendar.  I'm a consultant independent and my clients communicate appointments for meetings with Outlook on my PC. I have to be able to synchrnize those with my Smartphone.  I am told, but I have not confirmed that it is possible with a Windows phone.

    Hi @jgrobertson,

@John_Clark is correct, that mixture of BlackBerry allows you to view the data stored on the device using your computer or tablet. It does not support synchronization of data contacts and calendar data. For syncornize these data, you will need to use BlackBerry link for Windows that supports Outlook 2013 64 bit (source).

If you run into issues the first thing I would recommend to ensure that you use the most up to the BlackBerry link version. As long as you are, and a problem occurs always pop by the BlackBerry link discussion Forum and publish a detailed summary of the issue, then you meet the community can help out you! Thank you

  • Used to synchronize synchronize my Blackberry Curve 8330 Smartphones blackBerry with Outlook and Yahoo contacts and calendars.

Used to synchronize my Blackberry Curve 8330 to sync with my Outlook & Yahoo contacts and calendars.  There is no error message, it just don't do.  Any suggestions?

You can upgrade to 4.7 WITHOUT Media Manager.  Some people have problems with the MM.  It's also a great Setup and it is easier to use the drag-and - drop in windows Explorer with the lit on your BB mass storage mode.

Personally, I use DTM 4.6 without MM and have no problem.

  • BlackBerry smartphones my contacts and calendar sync wireless, how can I change this to do with outlook

My contacts and calendar sync wireless, how can I change this to do with outlook

Hello and welcome to the community!

    1. In the real Contacts and Calendar applications, check the options for them and make sure wireless synchronization is disabled.
    2. Then check the configuration of e-mail BIS ensure that also has many Contacts and calendar sync turns off.
    3. Finally, if your actual data are already completely in Outlook, you must destroy the databases on the BB and then enable synchronization with Outlook (who will first do a one-way synchronization, subsequently, it will be 2-way).

    Good luck!

  • Just downloaded Windows 10.  My Contacts and calendars from iPhone / iPad will not be synchronized with Outlook.  I made sure all the settings in iCloud are correct.  What to do?

I just downloaded Windows 10.  My Contacts and calendars from my iPhone and iPad will be synchronized with Outlook (2013).  I made settings were right to iCloud, but when I click on iCloud contacts or calendar, I get an error message that says: "cannot open all the files.  The information store cannot be opened.   No idea what it means.

Has anyone seen this message?  What "information store" is this referring?

Try connecting to iCloud and then reconnect.

  • BlackBerry classic to synchronize Contacts and calendar on 3 devices (BlackBerry Classic, PRO Surface and a laptop)

    Hello

I have a classic BlackBerry. I try to sync my contacts and Calendar Details on 3 devices, my BB, Surface PRO and my laptop using the Link BlackBerry software. I use Microsoft Outlook on my laptop and the Surface where I synchronize from. When I connect my BB to my laptop, can I synchronize all the contacts created on my BB for the laptop and the contacts created on the laptop for my BB, even with the calendar, calendar events created on the BB will be synchronized on the laptop and vice versa. When I connect my BB to my Surface, I can do the same thing there, sync contacts & calendar events created on the SURFACE Pro for the BB and vice versa.

What I'm looking for, it's that all contacts & calendar events created on my Pro SURFACE which have been synchronized on my BB must also be synchronized on my laptop when I connect my BB to my laptop and vice versa, as any event or the contacts created on my laptop that have been synchronized on my BB must then be synchronized on the Surface PRO Microsoft Outlook. So I try to reach that 3 of all devices must have the same calendar and contacts whenever I connect my BB device (Surface & laptop) to synchronize with the BB link.

I would appreciate a response from anyone.

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

Rather than captive link, I recommend you go to OTA sync... see:

Using this method, I have my email, calendar and contacts sync all 3 SmartPhones BB, 1 BB PlayBook, 1 Windows/Outlook2013 system, and a MAC (although, by introducing the MAC and it's limits, I had to implement a hybrid solution... email from HotMail, but the calendar/contacts via Google). I don't know any way to do what you want to link (and it would be more instant OTA anyway and let it do everything remotely rather than purely local).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones saved "BOLD" with Blackberry Protect but broken phone, can I restore contacts and calendar on a 9300?

Hello everyone. I got a 9900 who went for a swim to China, and after having tried to save it with a bag of rice, I have determined that it is fried. I backed up my contacts and calendar with Blackberry Protect before that happened. I am able to get a 9300, but I'll be able to restore my contacts and calendar on it or do I need to get another 9900?

    Hello

No you don't need the same phone.
You can select while restoring with protect which phone you want to use the backup.

  • Contacts and calendar

    Hi all

I was wondering if anniversary field contacts should be automatically added to the calendar? I sorta expected be... on my laptop (NOT a product of webOS unfortunately) this is done automatically.

Is this not implemented (yet), or y at - it a bug?

Here's how I got my date of birth set up. I have them in MS Outlook 2007 connected via Outlook connector (free from Microsoft) to my MS Hotmail account, and this is related to my Touchpad via MS Exchange to Hotmail / Live accounts. If the dates of birth that I have in my Outlook will automatically appear in my calendar. This in its turn syncs calendar Touchpad so I birth dates appear on the calendar of Touchpad.

There are also other ways to do it like Google Calendar. What is Facebook calendar is I had some incorrect info on this, your friends birth dates are not automatically added to the Facebook calendar, so they would not appear on Facebook for device calendar without add them manually.

The Touchpad device (any webOS device) does not contact birth dates in the calendar, online application that you are using it, then this info allows you to synchronize the timing of the device. If the unit has done this you would receive duplicates of all accounts. All contacts and calendars in webOS are displayed in a common view (overlay) but are stored separated

Double check the app folder or home screen.

Cannot delete the built-in app, so go to settings - general - reset - Reset available to the home screen.
