  I bought a Z10 in India.  The Maps app shows only the Malaysia and Thailand, even if the phone was bought in India.  All the research in the cards too cause Malaysian locations.   the India Government has banned the BlackBerry to have maps for the India. You can contact Airtel, they can give you access to a map application that covers the India (I forgot his name).

  Recently, I have owned BlackBerry z10 and have the latest firmware upgrade version: 10.2.1.2102 updated.

  I am Using Wi - fi Connection to connect the app on my phone, but since I started to use BlackBerry z10 he constantly sinks in connection with home wifi router in addition it also disables wifi radio so that even make any another device branch ed on this router disconnected to the router. Solution is to this problem is that I have to restart my router every time.

  I tried to change due to changes in my router:

  • Mode: since 11bgn mixed with 11n only
  • Enabled SSID Broadcast
  • Wireless security: of WAP-WAP2-staff staff
  • Beacon interval: 100 to 50
  • RTS amplifiers: Of 2346 to 2304

  I am friends here from my phone to the router address reservation.

  Note: My router has the latest Firmware Version: 3.16.6 build 130529 Rel.47286n (v4.0000 H/W Version WR740)

  I use Sony Xperia Acros, HP ProBook 4440 s, Sony Vaio portable Devices in parallel, or any hour would not be problem with connection of abandonment until.

• BlackBerry Z10 separate work and personal CONTACTS (not BB balance)

  Y at - it another way to have CONTACTS separate (work and personal) in a Z10 BB for us who do not Balance of BB. I want this for contacts, and maybe text messages, I do not have the security and all the other features ensuring the balance or a BES... If this isn't the case, know you guys if BLACKBERRY decided to do this for a future update? Looks like a very useful feature...

  Open Contacts, downstairs - all search, select 'New group' create the name of the group, and then add contacts.

  Suggest you name 1business and 1developpement etc., then the groups will be at the top of the list. Existing contacts will be just duplicated in groups.

• BlackBerry Z10 weird rotation and swipe

  Just an observation on the rotation and slide on the Z10.

  I normally have the Z10 in a loading dock that it was lying on its side.

  The screen and the icons are on the side and so I have to drag from right to left. When it moves to the active forms (e-mail for example) then rights itself and shows this screen standing and I can drag up from the bottom of the screen.

  Why so it a fashion landscape, all screens not only works in this mode and you move between slide everywhere (and make your head spin!) and upper (or annoyingly out of the docking station)?

  What you see, it is known and probably is fixed in OS entry versions. BlackBerry has to do all the rotating screens... and some users say that this question is exactly why BlackBerry itself has yet to release the loading OEM.

  The restoration has worked a bit, but some contacts are missing. Better than nothing, I suppose.

  I could always print Web page statements and MS Word documents from my laptop to my printer via a cable. After you download BlackBerry link I can no longer print documents because a small BlackBerry window opens asking to connect wireless to my BB ID and print to go. WTF, that may not be the correct link took control of my printer features.

  I tried to find a disable BB ID Print to Go without success. I had to use my wife's cell phone to print documents using a cable between his laptop and my Canon printer where BB connection is NOT installed. This should solve/binding immediately. Thks for any solution, answers.

  A couple of weeks, I noticed that my battery was drain more quickly then usual, the month battery i Aurélien 5 or 6.

  This tuseday I realized that after you type the Power/sleep button or wiping to operate the unit, there are actually up to 2.5 seconds for the phone to respond.

  And finally earlier light/proximity sensor has become very slow or even unresponsive.

  I thought to recharge the device software / what was never done on this device because I got it on the day of release) but I don't know if, among other things, I'm not going to lose my story to discuss Whatsapp and groups?

  Its a STL 100-2 running OS 10.2.1.3062 on the network of Swisscom (Switzerland).

• BlackBerry Z10 problem receiving and sending SMS

  I'll have a problem, send and receive SMS messages. My carrier is Verizon. Maybe 1 out of 20 messages will make. When people called me and told me that they never got my messages, I tried to send me a few messages to check and none of them have been through.
