  I shoot with two bodies. A camera other CR2 DNG. The cameras are synchronized so that the archived images appear in the order in which they were shot, no matter what device, they have been turned on. However, I am having a problem with my current project where when I discover (take it whole) in the parent folder (the images are contained in the dated subfolders), they are filed by the camera, they were turned on IE all camera 1 files first, and then the camera 2 (spoil my chronological sequence). This also applies when I select my images spotted through the parent folder. Files of the two cameras are separated. I have no filter applied.

  In your subfolders dated, you probably set the sort sequence for "capture time.

  These settings are saved per folder.

  If you do not see it, make sure that you have the toolbar toggled to visible (letter T).

  What is the sort order in the parent folder? "Type of file" or "File Extension" would explain the behavior that you describe.

  Try to set to 'capture time' as well. This should achieve your desired order.

  I'm new to the forum and dreamweaver. I am currently using CS4. I finished my site and uploaded to a webhost (free) online. I try to keep my site as simple as possible, so it will work easily because it is part of my portfolio. However, in my page 'works', the roll on images that are links to my work, do not work!

• Place the Image - problems "sort by".

  I'm having a problem with my image placement in all adobe programs.

  When I go to 'place' a picture in photoshop or indesign, my file directory appears and is sorted by number changed. I need sorted by name (which is usually the default). Can I change the option "sort by", but next time I want to place an image, it is updated so the last. I'm putting hundreds of images in this document and it would be must easier than my images have been sorted by name whenever I went to place an image.

  All my programs outside the Adobe type with a default name and my programs Adobe allows. I can't understand what causes this problem, and my colleagues computer seems to work very well! Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

  If you use CS2 you lucky.  Look at the bottom left of the file - open dialog box.  You see a button titled [use and Adobe dialog] or [Use OS dialog]?  If so, try clicking on it.  I bet the other form of the dialog box will remember the type of file you like.

  There are RUMORS that one can cause the sort order in a XP OS dialog box change by changing it manually (by clicking on the title of the file name), and then hold down the CTRL key and the cancellation of dialog box, but I personally haven't seen this book.  It may be one of those old wive tales.

  With the display site, click the site identity button (for more details about what it is to see the How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure? article), and then click more information. This will open the page info dialog box.

  First, select the permissions tab, make sure that 'Load the Images' is set to allow (default selection should work as well)

  Then select the media tab, and then click the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll the list. If any element has the option 'Images of block of (field name)' selected, deselect the option.

  This should hopefully solve your problem, but see also the problems that cause to not show images.

  Some add-ons can also block images, for example, if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block images.
