My Windows Mail software has suddenly stopped working and now shows an error 0x800CCC0F code both to receive and send mail. I have the same account settings (POP3, SMTP, SSL, socket, etc.) on another PC using Outlook Express, which works correctly. I recently installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and my PC of Windows Mail and Mail has not worked since. Is there a conflict between the software? How can I restore my Windows Mail capabilities?

The error "suddenly come to an end" is usually caused by interference from an antivirus program. What antivirus do you use? Some of them are causing problems with Windows Mail over time. At a minimum, email, scanning in the antivirus must be turned off, although maybe it's not enough to eliminate all the bad effects. In the worst case scenario, your antivirus program may be uninstalled/reinstalled or replaced. A free antivirus that is 100% compatible is available here:

408 error code occurs when the Web server (running the website) think that there was too long a time interval. An IP (Internet Protocol) connection is established between your browser and the server. The server dropped the connection. The socket connection was really lost - the Web server has "timed out" on this particular connection made.

If you are access via Internet Explorer, you try to connect to your email again after a while and check if it works.

You can also try to optimize the settings of Internet Explorer on your computer and check if it helps.

Messenger blocked with 8007007e error code

I can't enter my Messenger if I try to sign in it tells me that the service is unavailable and to try later?. But if I use another pc, I can sign to ok.
An error code is displayed with the message 8007007e?. Can anyone help please.

Here is a link to an article on this particular problem (this particular error code). One solution is to use the sfc command. Here are the better instructions that they provide:

Go to start / programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt and click Run as administrator.

Type sfc/scannow, and then enter. Let the program run - it check out some of your system files and fix them. If all goes well it will be completed without error, he couldn't fix it (if it doesn't, check the log which can be interpreted using the following guidelines: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228).

To get the Windows Installer Cleanup utility (if necessary), go to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301.

Windows mail 0x800ccc90 error code

So far, I'm not able to send/receive messages from my account of windows Messaging. When I went to bed lst night it was fine. When I hit the send/receive button, I get the following "Check that the username and password are correct for your mail server". Nothing has changed since I turned off my pc last night. Is someone can you please tell me why this is happening all of a sudden?

I read messages similar to my question, it does not appear that the messages before were all assistance.

I use Windows Live mail to access an account of talktalk and a BT Yahoo. On behalf of Talktalk is not affected, it is BT's Yahoo account which is corrupt.

I don't think that the download is finished.
1. Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program.
2. Uncheck the option to check for messages every X minutes.
See if the download is finished now. If this is the case, leave analysis off e-mails, but check again the other option. If you still have questions, ask the experts here. More in this forum which I belong do not use Windows Live Mail.

Windows Mail 0x900CCC0F error code: "your server has unexpectedly ended the connection." Help!

I am running Windows Mail on Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 on a PC HP for ~ 5 years. Our ISP is SBC (AT & T - Uverse) in California, 12 MB/ch wired high-speed Internet. Until recently, electronic mail has been working well. Then, we started to have problems with the speed of send/receive. When you perform one of these tasks, 100% of the time, the green in the status bar goes about to halfway and then stops completely. It takes a few minutes to complete the task (after that Windows Mail is responding again). About 75% of the time, the connection times out. This happened about a year. I had an AT & T technician examine the settings and questions several times and they all said that there is a problem with Windows Mail. The latest technology told me to turn off my antivirus, but then I HAD a virus, so I had to turn it back on. Anyway, I'm currently running Microsoft Security Essentials on your computer, and I read in a forum earlier that he didn't have a problem in this case. This was really inconvinient for us and I came close to switching Mailhosts. It is convinient for me to watch on my cell phone, it's the computer these days. So many random error messages and low speeds - Ugh!

And then, the e-mail completely stopped working today! Every time you try to send/receive, it appears: "your server has ended suddenly the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. The problem in your code block 2 is that you have not only used the same name of the exception, but you have assigned them with the same exception code. If the code is different so it will work...
