Blue screen INVALID_PROCESS_DETACH_ATTEMPT message

I get a blue screen with the message INVALID_PROCESS_DETACH_ATTEMPT with the error STOP: 0 x 00000006(0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000). Please give me advice on how to solve the problem. Thank you very much.

Hello

Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

b. it is a possibility that there is a startup program that is launched with a command line and it appears.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353/en-us
Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

I hope this helps.

  • Windows XP blue screen error message: 0 x 00000024

I keep my pc while it was running chkdsk (Yes, I know now that it was stupid) and since then couldn't make it past the above blue screen error message.

    Read the full error message: Stop: 0 x 00000024 (0x83160AB0, 0 x 0000102, 0 x 00190203, 0 x 00000000)

I have worked with F8, F12 and F2 Setup and managed to do it boot from the CD.  I put in the diagnosis CD and ran the diagnostics for blue screen and hard drive errors - all tests passed.

Then, I changed Setup to boot from the hard disk - but again received the blue screen.  Once back to the prompt, I tried running chkdsk/f and has received no indication of errors.  I tried chkdsk/f/r and can not access the recovery screen (it says it's an invalid order).  I tried to put it in C: > R and f: > R (F is my cd drive).

Help!  How can I get rid of this screen?

You damaged the Windows installation. If you have not saved the data on that hard drive, you may be able to get it back by using Linux Livecd such as Knoppix and copying data to an external hard drive. General information about the use of Knoppix for this are:

You will need a computer with two cd drives, which is a dvd/cd-rw OR a usb thumb drive with enough capacity to store your data, OR a usb/firewire external drive to FAT32 (not NTFS) *. To get the Knoppix, you need a computer with a fast Internet connection and software third engraving. Download Knoppix .iso image file and create your bootable cd. Then start with her and she will be able to see the files in Windows. If you use the USB key or an external hard disk, right-click on its icon (on the desktop) to get its properties and uncheck "read only". Then click on it to open it. Note that the mouse action by default in the window manager used by Knoppix (KDE) is a simple click to open instead of double-click traditional MS Windows. If you want to burn CD/DVDs, use the K3b program.

    * My understanding is that you can now write on NTFS from Linux partition. If you wish to do this, Google for instructions.

    Hello

I have fixed many times by the steps described in this article...

  • Blue screen error message

I don't know if my question got by, so I'll post again in case it didn't. I have a Dell Dimension 2400. I have a blue screen the stop code of ox0000007e (oxc000000, oxf844209, oxf899fbbc, oxf899f8b8.) I need to know how to fix it. I'd appreciate any help to get my computer upward and traffic rights. I can't get into safe mode, but I don't know where to go to from there.

    Hi Debra King,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. When exactly do you get the blue screen of death on the computer?
    4. You have security software installed on the computer?

As the computer can start in safe mode, there is a possibility that some third-party programs installed on the computer is the origin of the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 wireless w / B8808C14, B8614C64, B8806060, or B8806238 blue screen error message

    HI -.

My printer HP Officejet printer to wireless Pro 8500 A909g connected via USB, was when our lights flickered. It is connected to a surge protector.  However, he was one of the four error messages on the touch screen when the printer is on.  B8808C14, B8614C64, B8806060, or B8806238 resulted on a blue screen right once I turn it on to warm up.  No button does on the printer.  Nothing prints.  The computer is running Windows Vista 64 bit and it says the printer is offline.  Solution Center HP on the computer says the printer is disconnected when it is still connected.  If you click the power button, the printer turns off momentarily then returns to one of the four messages code listed above.  I unplugged the printer completely moved and plugged into a power source in the kitchen and the same error message and no button responds.  We had the printer 18 months without any problem.

What you experience is a fatal error in the firmware of the printer. In this case, it's not much, you can do. Try a hard reset first. If the error is not clear, you can try to do a partial reset. If none of those working, you need to replace the printer.

    To do a hard reset:
    1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
    3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. wait for 30 seconds.
    5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

    To make a partial reset:
    1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
    3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. wait for 30 seconds.
5 connect the power supply cord inot the wall, but do not connect the printer.
    6. press 3 and # buttons.
    7. while now buttons, plug in the printer.
    8. when the lights come on, release the buttons.

At startup, I see a message that says: Media test failure.  I can sometimes to vista in normal mode, but then it's a matter of time (not too long usually) before the screen flickers and goes black.  I then turn off the power and restart.  Once it says graphics driver NVIDIA has stopped working properly, I've updated my driver and now it says it's working properly, but I still have the same problem.  My bucket of blue screen error is: 0x116_TdrBCR:2_Tdr:2_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys any help will be greatly appreciated

Since you've already tried to update the Nvidia drivers, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the same check.

You can try to uninstall and reinstall all the programs and features Nvidia drivers and Device Manager.

    Step 1:

Uninstall the audio drivers from programs and features

    a. click on start

    b. type appwiz.cpl in the start search

    c. search for all driver packages, Nvidia, right click and uninstall.

    Step 2:

Uninstall the drivers from Device Manager.

    a. click on start

    b. type devmgmt.msc in search, and then press enter

    c. in find Manager device for the device, right-click on it and select the option uninstall.

After you remove the drivers of these two places, you can try to remove the NVIDIA folder and restart to see if that solves the problem after I installed the generic drivers.

    Step 3:

    To delete the folder:

one. Click on start and Type C:\windows\system32\drivers folder in start search

    b. click on drivers and select nvlddmkm.sys

    c. right click and rename nvlddmkm.sys in nvlddmkm.sys.old. or delete.

Here's what I use and recommend: (these are all free and very effective versions.)

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leaving Standard, Web, and
    Operation of the network.

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(It may temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom
    right of IE)

Two versions of Avast are available 5.x and 4.8 x

Avast - home - free - 5.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-
Click on the Orange icon - top right - settings - click on the status bar - uncheck shields you
    disabled - click OK
    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

Avast 4.8 x - home - free - stop shields, you don't need except leaving Standard, Web,.
and the network running. (Double-click the blue icon - look OK. - upper left - Shields details
    Finish those you don't use).
    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download#TAB4

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - home - free small, fast, exceptional protection CLOUD, working with other security
programs. It is a single scanner, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something come back here
or use Google to see how to remove.
    http://www.prevx.com/   <-->

    PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice
    http://www.PCMag.com/Article2/0, 2817,2346862,00.asp

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that
would be unusual with Avast and occasional Prevx running with the exception of a low level cookie
(not much), to UPDATE and then run it as a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they
never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.
