HP laptop,
Video card problem so I use an external monitor to the computer to access. Does not start in safe mode. No new software or hw. Tried to let the os to resolve. Could not. I get this message when booting normally page fault in nonpaged area and it crashes. tried to laucnh... Startup Repair can not repair it. I want just the data off the drive. I tried to put in my other computer in the car and did not help. This laptop model HP is notorous for video card fail, that's why I'm sure that the internal display of the laptop does not display data. Using the external monitor to display the screen. I just want the data and once it is sure going to re-install o/s to see if the VC is dead or if it is a question of gibber. Oh... System Restore may... tried that too...

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
are a few others.
You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.
Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.
Use Ubuntu Live CD to backup files from your Windows computer dead

Power failure blue screen of Windows Vista - driver
Hi all
ASUS laptop computer under Win Vista Home 32-bit Edition. Have 2 problems:
1 power driver blue screen failure.
Please see my 2 Dump files to:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5c4subvkhw2lryf/Mini031615-03.dmp?DL=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qsd0nv61yer4e3b/Mini031615-04.dmp?DL=0
After studying this problem it seems it has to do with the USB drivers? I have no yellow question mark in Device Manager.
(a) it - I have to refresh battery USB? If yes pls show me how?
(b) do I avoid Windows update to reinstall the drivers on the original from ASUS drivers? If yes Pls tell me how?
(c) do I reinstall the drivers Asus? which device?
The problem could be related to a HP mouse wireless connected to the laptop? It always worked fine until I disconnected and reconnected.
2 laptop won't wake up from sleep, I have to use the switch to close.
Appreciate your help.
OR
There are two related issues here. First associated with snp2uvc.sys generic PC Camera Driver and secondly to Kaspersky. I update the reader of the camera (your is 2007) aware and remove Kaspersky and replace it with MSE >
Kaspersky is a common cause of BSOD.
I remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials if you use vista or win 7. If you are using win 8 or higher, I would use the built-in Defender.http://support.Kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/kavremover10.zip

Had to restart the computer and turned on will not go beyond Windows Vista of the screen blue, not able to see the start with all the icons page
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
See you soon.
1. no changes have been made on the computer before the show.
2. the PC allows me to log on, but he did not finish before she lifted the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error such as a STOP message on loading Windows Vista blue screen. Then it will allow me to start mode without failure, but only without a network. I did a system restore to what I thought, it was a good point and then for a week before the show, but nothing has changed. The problem persists. I also used advanced Startup Options (F8) and tried to get to the last good known Configuration, but the same thing happens.
I think this is material - I opened and cleaned it out, reinstall memory, Reseat the video card. I think it's time to take it!
Thanks for trying to help.
OK, now here is the problem. My laptop dell Inspiron computer running windows vista will be randomly blue screen of anywhere between 15 minutes of use to 6 hours of use.
It is very important for me to have my laptop works well, I reinstalled my OS and returned my laptop to factory settings, then does a not reinstall all programs on it and then left on to see if this fixed the problem. There can be no.All my drivers are up to date, it says on the error message for me to disable the in-memory cache and the cloak, but what I gathered people is not what you need to do and instead of uninstalling programs. Pretend that I have not installed programs is not a fix for me. I am currently using this computer to write it, so it works very well at all other times, and this blue screening time is completely random.Hello
The problem may cause due to failed hard drive. I suggest to run the disk check and check if the problem persists, follow the steps described in the following link:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.
Also I suggest you to download the files from "C:\Windows\Minidump" mini dump on the jump:
There were problems before you re-installed Windows?
Given that you did do a re-installation means that the causes are mainly hardware, BIOS, low-level chipset
antivirus/antispyware/security programs could play a role. See message methods to test the
Cause
One possible cause of this bug check is damaged drive. Corruption in the system of NTFS file or defective (sectors) on the hard disk can cause this error. Corrupted drivers SCSI and IDE may also compromise the ability to read and write to the disk system, so causing the error.
Another possible cause is the depletion of memory pool non paged. If the nonpaged memory is exhausted, this error can shut down the system. However, during the indexing process, if the amount of memory available nonpaged pool is very small, another driver in nonpaged kernel memory in pool mode may also cause this error.
Solve the problem
To solve a problem of hard drive corruption: Check Event Viewer for error of SCSI and FASTFAT (syslog) messages or Autochk (the application log) that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Try disabling any antivirus software or Disk Defragmenter tools that continually monitor the system. You must also run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer. RunChkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition.
Constant mini dump of blue screen in Windows Vista
When I'm at work on our public wireless network, I have connection problems, eventually leading to a mini blue screen dump. I can stay connected for 4 hours or 4 minutes... it oscillates continuously. I checked and updated my NVIDIA driver and have current BIOS. When on my home network (encrypted) wireless I never have this issue.
Below error code:
Hello
Have you added a hardware or drivers updated recently? Check Control Panel - Windows to see updates
If all drivers have been updated it just before what is going on has begun.For 7f - this might be a problem of material such as uncomfortable cards or memory, while there are other causes.
Power electric low could also lead to this. Use the troubleshooter below and when you get to the drivers and
segments of memory refer to my next post and then return to if necessary troubleshooting tool.Cause
0x7F bug check occurs after the installation of a faulty or incompatible hardware (including memory) or if installed hardware fails.
A double fault can occur when the kernel stack overflows. This overflow occurs if multiple drivers are attached to the same battery. For example, if two file system filter drivers are associated to the same stack and then again the recursively of file system, the capacity of the battery.
Solve the problem
Troubleshooting: If you have recently added the material to the computer, remove to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component. Run the diagnostics of material that does not have the system manufacturer supplies to determine which hardware component.
The scanner memory is particularly important. Faulty or incompatible memory can cause this bug check. For more information on these procedures, see the manual of your computer. Check that all the cards in the computer are well calibrated. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.
If the error appears on a newly installed system, check the availability of updates for BIOS, SCSI, or card network controller. These updates are generally available on the Web site or the hardware manufacturer BBS.
Confirm that all hard drives, hard disk controllers and SCSI adapters are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
If the error occurred after the installation of a new or updated device driver, you should remove or replace the driver. If, in this circumstance, the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with NTFS, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console in order to access the file.
Also to restart your computer and press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the menu of Advanced Options , select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when you add a single driver or service at a time.
Overclocking (setting of the CPU to run at a speed higher than the nominal specification) can cause this error. If you have overclocked to the computer that is experiencing the error, return the CPU to default clock speed setting.
Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver that generated the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve the problem.
If you have encountered this error during the upgrade to a new version of the Windows operating system, the error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version. If possible, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable all antivirus before upgrade you. Contact the software manufacturer for updates of these tools. Also, make sure that you have installed the latest Windows Service Pack.
Finally, if all of the steps above do not resolve the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can also cause this error.
Look in the Event Viewer to see if something is reported on these reboots.
Blue screen on windows 7 64 bit, code BCC: f4
I got a blue screen of last night, and since then I can turn only on my laptop in safe mode. Even in safe mode, I got the blue screen when browsing web pages or software installation. Normally, I hear my fan until the blue screen appears.
I tried to understand the dmp file, but all I know is ntoskrnl.exe is highlighted in red. I'm not able to attach my dmp file for now, like keeping my laptop stop. Will upload tomorrow.It seems that all the drivers up to date. I have not ran the memory diagnostic no error found. I downloaded the windows over the weekend updates, do not know if it is related to all. Any suggestions?I found a few links to know about it.
Blue screen of Windows 7 64-bit. USB the problem or a symptom?
For two months random BSOD crashes my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit computer. Looking at the accidents with the BSOD Viewer, many of the accidents are associated with ntoskrnl.exe with many page faults, problems with memory, etc. Throughout this process, I found that my keyboard and wireless mouse stop working. To get them to work again, I shoot the transmitter to the pc and plug it in again. Often, I need to be relatively close to the transmitter to get to work. In addition, my USB key with a backup drive would sometimes lock up. The Device Manager has no icon saying something is bad and the USB drivers say up-to-date.
System
MB - Gigabyte - GA-P55M-UD2
CPU - i5 750
memory - 4 GB
drive - seagate 1. 0 t 5400 RPM (SATA2)
graphics - Nvidia 9500My not so far.
SFC/scannow - shows no problem
Chkdsk - shows no problem
Windows 7 - it is updated
winutlitiies - did not help
Utility Windows 7 shows memory good
Auditor of Seagate drive - shows the disc is fine
video drivers are up-to-date
no viruses or Trojans are present
BIOS seems to be up-to-date
Msconfig - with a minimum of options, still crashes (though much less)I'm at the point of reformatting the drive, but before doing so I opted to use a live CD linux with all my disks mounted version to see if the PC will crash. It works perfectly. I can broadcast 5 youtube videos, run 9 movies/videos, play many pieces of music - at the same time. This type of load under windows 7 will result in an accident. Regarding the USB part, mouse and the USB keyboard can be used for distance or have never stopped working. The successful use of linux shows that I have no hardware failure causing me problems.
What are accidents caused by USB drivers or is this a symptom?
What else can I try before a waste reformatting or reloading of the time?Thank you
The minidump file showed a POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA (to) stop without specified third-party driver error as causing the crash.
Because of the kind of errors, I'd say remove a RAM module and see if there is an improvement.
If not, try the other module.
Blue screen after Windows Vista SP2 installed on my TouchSmart IQ770
All, I came across this thread, after having the same problem (constant BSOD after Vista SP2) installed. The fix referenced by MS that contains a placeholder file. However, this most recent patch http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975163/ contains even more recent versions of all the files in question.
For this installation, I went to safe mode and disabled the wireless network card. I copied the fix of a usbstick on the desktop. After the reboot of the machine was stable enough to install this fix (before it would break before the fix might get installed). After the restart, yet once again, I have reactivated the wireless card.
The system seems to be stable again (its place for over an hour now, the previous record was 5 minutes approximately from SP2)
I hope this helps someone to another Google search for Vista SP2 IQ770 BSOD USB
