  I finally decided to improve a few pieces of hardware and im thinking that it was a mistake. I started by adding a version2.2 550w atx12v bfg power. It works like a charm and is very easy to connect. I then added 1 GB of ram (240pin pc2 5300 ddr2) taking me 2 GB to 3 GB. that went well too. I then added a bfg nvidia geforce 9500gt. and here's where the trouble begins. I installed the card using the instructions IE: disabiling graphics card integrated in the Device Manager. I then ran the driver cd of instalation. Once you are prompted to restart the computer, I did and when he started back I had a blue tint. I adjusted a lot, if not all my color options and it did not help. I called the technical support of bfg and told me that it was a faulty card. I out took it and referred to a DIFFERENT best buy. Home reinstalled drivers and the card and still have the blue tint. I've updated all the drivers I could find including my bios and the new drivers from the nvidia site. downloaded all the moniter hp tools (im using a moniter hpw1907 with dvi plug) still prevails the blue tint. the video card came with a dvi to VGA, so I thought that maybe my dvi cord has been damaged so I used the adapter and he ran into vga (I know that this cord is not defective that's what I was using before you install everything new Twitter.com) and I still have the blue tint. IM convinced this isn't a second damaged card ratings are worse than winning me the lottery. someone help me please Im going crazy with this. Thanks in advance my hp fellow lovers.   Hello everyone, I hope I can get help with this on my laptop because it has a weird blue tint that has appeared on the screen when a friend knocked at the back of my screen with a wooden mallet.

  The tint still allows me to work it's just boring.

  If I turn the screen at an angle, it turns back to normal

  I have reason to believe that it is a hardware problem or something wrong with a backlight.

  The graphic card works fine (I can play Starcraft II, Battlefield 1942 and other games perfectly fine).

  If it was always this way, it could be a manufacturing defect or your advanced display settings may be incorrect. The latter can be determined according to the settings/Advanced/display/personalization in the control panel settings. See Customization here, it varies depending on the manufacturer, but you focus on controls that adjust color output.

  If it has started, then it is possible the monitor had a malfunction. I put another monitor (if available) on the system. If the problem persists, then the fault is in the video card or display drivers. If it disappears, then the monitor can go wrong (you can try to adjust the settings on the screen itself to see if it has no effect). If it turns out to be the graphics card, I would like to firstly download and install a new set of drivers for the graphics card or the manufacturer of the system (the best for download, then uninstall the current set restart and install the new download).

• Strange blue tint only seen in some programs - Windows 7

  My computer running Windows 7.  My laptop is only 2 years.

  About a week or two ago, I noticed that some of my image-art-photo consultation programs (Photo Viewer Windows, Windows Photo Gallery [uninstall] and Adobe Photoshop Elements 10) on my computer all of a sudden had a sort of strange blue-tint (Blues are more dark green have a bluish tint to them) to the images?  This strange hue is NOT seen in the preview of images images (as well you view them from the folder), is not apparent on Microsoft Paint, Power Point, Word, or even on the internet.  He is also seen if I open programs on a second monitor.  The hue appears on my laptop.  In all other programs, EXCEPT these two, the images looked exactly like how they had looked at a few weeks before this change suddenly.  When I open the Windows Photo Viewer, the hue is apparent.  When I open 10 EPA, the hue is apparent.  I know that's not the programs, because I have not changed anything with them.

  To summarize, this strange colour blue did not appear before a week or two ago.  I have not changed anything on Windows or EPA 10 Photo Viewer.  The hue appears on my laptop screen and only on the images themselves (not whole screen).  When I opened these programs on a separate monitor, the colors are fine.

  I have to run even though some Windows updates.  Unfortunately, I fell a little on my computer was updated, so I got a few months (end of October 2012) value of updates to do.  I looked at everything just uninstall all updates and see if the problem that will be resolved, but I wanted to see if there was a simpler solution first.

  I have a HP Deskjet F4280 All - in - one for many years and had no problems until I recently replaced the color cartridge. When he printed the page after I did the standard set of alignment to the top, blue appeared on the scoresheet when he was red in the past. • UI on my creative cloud apps have a blue tint

  All my creative cloud apps have a blue tint to the user interface elements. This happens only on my laptop and not my iMac. Y at - it all will for this? And if so, what would it be? Photo attached is what I saw. Any help is very appreciated.

• I have a blue tint when I print some paper

  Recently, I noticed that when I print on some paper (Epson Premium Luster Photo paper) that a blue tint is printed on paper with the image. This seems to happen if I use a standard .icc file or custom .icc for this article. Uses Adobe CS5 to manage colors, rendering intent relative colorometric. Uses an iMac with 10.6.8. and Epson 3880 printer. The only thing I can think of that changed is that I upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 a few months back. If you look along the sides of the image below you can see what I mean.

  

  Just for the heck of it, I printed out just the same image with Photoshop Elements 9, and I do not get this blue cast.

• Blue tint to the exported images from LR 2.4

  A particular image, that I exported from LR appears slightly more blue than it does in the LR library. At first I thought it's maybe because I export from a raw image in sRGB and downsizing a lot, but this isn't the cause.

  If I take the image of LR and EDIT in PHOTOSHOP CS3 using TIFF 16 bits and ProPhoto and then in Photoshop manually reduce 640 pixels on its longest side, change it to 8 bits per channel and ProPhoto convert to sRGB, the resulting image is not this blue tint and, in my view, exactly looks the same as the view from LR library. But if I ask LR for export in a 8-bit sRGB TIFF and reduce the size of 640 pixels, with no job of sharpening, the result has the blue tint.

  I have attached a screenshot with LR in the background and two windows photoshop: the left one is photoshop glancing tiff that LR exported; the right is Photoshop showing the same image will be created manually as described in my second para. I find that one on the left has a bluish tint, particularly in the foliage over the arms of the shovel. Flicking between the two windows photoshop, the histogram is clearly more blue in the left.

  Of course, you can say well, "Photoshop isn't Lightroom, so there are small differences. I accept it. But the fact is that Photoshop agrees with LR, this is just EXPORT from LR service that produces a result that is more blue.

  No idea why this should be so? (I have not noticed this on other images)

  I find that quite strange for sRGB, BTW, because the color is the smallest space the most important, one might think, to have the perception during the conversion in it.

  It has historical reasons. When sRGB was designed none of this really existed yet. Recently the ICC made a new sRGB version which has no perceptual intent. You can use it in Photoshop, but strangely, Lightroom doesn't know how to use it.

  When you refer to the scale, I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean the alteration of color that occurs when mapping range of one color space to another? Sorry, I don't know anything about. But what at first glance seems odd is that why should the color of a pixel mapping be in any way affected by the values of adjacent pixels? (I guess this must be the case for effect "in areas with a lot of detail", as you suggest.

  I refer to the reduction of scale to 640 pixels wide that you do. It is very simply with an average value of the pixels within a zone to arrive at a new image of low resolution. For example, if your original is 3000 pixels wide, and you go to 500 pixels wide, you are averaging an area of 6 x 6 pixels (i.e. 36 pixels) for a single pixel value in the new image. In practice several different algorithms are used to do this, but the basic principle is the same. Lightroom evolves in a linear space, which means that the brightness (luminance) is a linear function of the values bit. This translates into the luminance of the final pixel being correct anything. Photoshop scales in the gamma corrected space of the profile document (gamma 1.8 for prophotoRGB and approximately 2.2 to sRGB). Gamma means that the lightness of a pixel is dependent on the value of bit powerlaw. This translates into the luminance is not always correct with the end result. Whether move you in linear space or corrected gamma issues only when you have lots of small details. Course, when you have a plan of color, no matter that you will come to the same value.   So scaling in linear space is preferable from the point of view correct color. However, it leads to the desaturation and maybe look less good.

  A second point that I would put to LR is this: no matter how you do this scaling, why you cannot export a file that resembles that on my screen of LR? The fact that they are different certainly suggests that LR does not use this linear gamma of scale displaying the pictures, then we could add "look, do go and stick to it; don't chop and move one feature from LR to another. »

  Here, you have run in one of the many peculiarities of Lightroom. Because it is made of the jpeg extracted in adobeRGB (in general), the scaling of the display in libraries and other is in a gamma corrected space and so resemble the Photoshop scale. An example would be an image of Christmas lights that will look very colorful with zoom out but when zoom you 1:1 (or go to the library) they lose all color because the color noise reduction, which is then applied. Sea of flowers in the grass, light neon, colored fabrics, etc., are other examples. If you have a lot of microdetail, only display that's really right in Lightroom to develop is the view of 1:1. This is largely fixed in LR 3 BTW, where he restores to a larger size, including the reduction of noise and sharpening and then further reduced to develop.

  There are several possibilities:
   
  1. the monitor. But if it works correctly on another computer, it is
  is it not.
   
  2. the video card.
   
  3. the driver for the video card.
   
  4. the connection cable from the monitor to the video card. Have you used the
  same cable to connect the monitor to the laptop? If this is not the
  cable.
   
  5. the tightening of the cable. But once again, if you have used the same cable
  and have reconnected, which seem not to be the problem.
   
  So it's probably the video card (more likely) or its driver
  (less likely). The first thing I would try is to make sure that the
  video card is firmly seated in its slot in the motherboard.

  All my documents come out with a clear blue tinge. I tried the update of the driver and colour correction, but neither one work. I have the HP Photosmart 6510.

  I would recommend a few things for you to try for the analysis of the quality issue that you are experiencing.

  • First, reset the printer - and when you connect the printer, this it is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding any bars, surge protectors, etc. (Important!)

  Now, try a scan to see if that helped. If this is not the case, proceed to uninstalling and reinstalling the printer.

  • Uninstalling the printer software, and then restart your PC
  • Reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows

  Hi well whenever I connect / randomly my screen will go to a shade of blue that makes things green yellow go, why is this happening I think it may be the graphics card but I'm not sure that I need HELP! As soon as possible!!! I removed my current monader and tried on another and it's always blue.

  This can happen if the monitor has gone bad or damaged cable.
  To find out if the problem is related to the video card on the computer, I suggest you connect another monitor to the computer and check.
  As the current monitor did the same thing when it is connected to another computer, which means that there is a problem with the screen itself.
  I suggest that you contact a store local tech and get checked monitor.

  I was vacuuming in the room where is my cpu and bumped slightly with the void and all of a sudden my monitor has developed a blue tinge.  Obviously, untouched.  I tried a few options to repair Windows, but they had me try to adjust my monitor, which I think is the problem.  Any ideas?

  Apparently, you think that the term "CPU" is a synonym for "computer". It's
  not. A CPU and a computer are two very different things. The CPU is a
  small chip which is the case of your computer, on the motherboard.
  Yes, it's the most important chip in the computer, but it is not the
  the computer itself.

  "CPU" is in fact an abbreviation, not an acronym. "CPU" is synonymous with
  "Central processing unit". In modern personal computers, the CPU is a
  relatively small chip, an integrated circuit. It sits on

  all that it contains.

  I don't know how incorrect practice began the appeal of the whole
