I have a blue tint when I print some paper

Recently, I noticed that when I print on some paper (Epson Premium Luster Photo paper) that a blue tint is printed on paper with the image. This seems to happen if I use a standard .icc file or custom .icc for this article. Uses Adobe CS5 to manage colors, rendering intent relative colorometric. Uses an iMac with 10.6.8. and Epson 3880 printer. The only thing I can think of that changed is that I upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 a few months back. If you look along the sides of the image below you can see what I mean.

Just for the heck of it, I printed out just the same image with Photoshop Elements 9, and I do not get this blue cast.

  • A blue tint what color printing.

    Help!

I have a HP Deskjet F4280 All - in - one for many years and had no problems until I recently replaced the color cartridge. When he printed the page after I did the standard set of alignment to the top, blue appeared on the scoresheet when he was red in the past. Now, everything has a blue tint and I do not understand what red, yellow, green or orange. Even print boarding proved to be blue to pieces when he should be orange.

I have cleaned the printer cartridge and searched this forum, but without success. This printer has it?

All the advice accepted with gratitude.

    Hello

Try to remove the color cartridge, take a small peace of cloth and try to score the fabric on the lower part of the bloodsuckers.

You see only a clear mark of colors Cyan, Magenta and yellow appeared while stamping ink cartridge?

It's a genuine HP ink cartridge?

You see one of the colors as expected by printing a self-test as follows report?

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01361419

I suspect rather a faulty cartridge that a damaged printer as the print head is built into the cartridge itself...

Please let me know the results,

  • Strange blue tint only seen in some programs - Windows 7

    Hello

My computer running Windows 7.  My laptop is only 2 years.

About a week or two ago, I noticed that some of my image-art-photo consultation programs (Photo Viewer Windows, Windows Photo Gallery [uninstall] and Adobe Photoshop Elements 10) on my computer all of a sudden had a sort of strange blue-tint (Blues are more dark green have a bluish tint to them) to the images?  This strange hue is NOT seen in the preview of images images (as well you view them from the folder), is not apparent on Microsoft Paint, Power Point, Word, or even on the internet.  He is also seen if I open programs on a second monitor.  The hue appears on my laptop.  In all other programs, EXCEPT these two, the images looked exactly like how they had looked at a few weeks before this change suddenly.  When I open the Windows Photo Viewer, the hue is apparent.  When I open 10 EPA, the hue is apparent.  I know that's not the programs, because I have not changed anything with them.

To summarize, this strange colour blue did not appear before a week or two ago.  I have not changed anything on Windows or EPA 10 Photo Viewer.  The hue appears on my laptop screen and only on the images themselves (not whole screen).  When I opened these programs on a separate monitor, the colors are fine.

I have to run even though some Windows updates.  Unfortunately, I fell a little on my computer was updated, so I got a few months (end of October 2012) value of updates to do.  I looked at everything just uninstall all updates and see if the problem that will be resolved, but I wanted to see if there was a simpler solution first.

    Thank you

    GG

    Hello

Restore the system to an earlier point before installing updates.

System Restore can return your files system to a point in time before you noticed a problem, without affecting documents, photos, or other personal files. If the system restore does not resolve the problem, you can undo the restore operation and choose a different restore point.

  • When I print my paper to "user-defined" size in Thunderbird by default instead of "letter". Have to change manually, but does not.

I use a printer Brother HL-6180DW and the paper size to default printer to 'letter' 8 1/2 x 11 on everything, except
When you try to print an email from Thunderbird. If I manually change the paper size in Thunderbird to the letter, it maintains for that impression, then default to "user-defined" which is 3.0 x 5.0. How to make the default format letter? Thank you.

I have answered hundreds of posts here every month. Most of the time I don't know who or what 5 seconds after I'm done.

I did not add... I said to delete. You can remove all in printers and when you restart Thunderbird and try and print with the selected printer is the will add stuff if needed. So bite the bullet and simply delete away.

  • Blue tint with all scans of paper

All my documents come out with a clear blue tinge. I tried the update of the driver and colour correction, but neither one work. I have the HP Photosmart 6510.

    Hello there CBX_benajohnnie,

Thank you very much for your information!

I would recommend a few things for you to try for the analysis of the quality issue that you are experiencing.

    • First, reset the printer - and when you connect the printer, this it is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding any bars, surge protectors, etc. (Important!)

Now, try a scan to see if that helped. If this is not the case, proceed to uninstalling and reinstalling the printer.

    I hope that helps!

    Kind regards

  • Blue tint of a6319fh on dispalay after the new graphics card please help

I finally decided to improve a few pieces of hardware and im thinking that it was a mistake. I started by adding a version2.2 550w atx12v bfg power. It works like a charm and is very easy to connect. I then added 1 GB of ram (240pin pc2 5300 ddr2) taking me 2 GB to 3 GB. that went well too. I then added a bfg nvidia geforce 9500gt. and here's where the trouble begins. I installed the card using the instructions IE: disabiling graphics card integrated in the Device Manager. I then ran the driver cd of instalation. Once you are prompted to restart the computer, I did and when he started back I had a blue tint. I adjusted a lot, if not all my color options and it did not help. I called the technical support of bfg and told me that it was a faulty card. I out took it and referred to a DIFFERENT best buy. Home reinstalled drivers and the card and still have the blue tint. I've updated all the drivers I could find including my bios and the new drivers from the nvidia site. downloaded all the moniter hp tools (im using a moniter hpw1907 with dvi plug) still prevails the blue tint. the video card came with a dvi to VGA, so I thought that maybe my dvi cord has been damaged so I used the adapter and he ran into vga (I know that this cord is not defective that's what I was using before you install everything new Twitter.com) and I still have the blue tint. IM convinced this isn't a second damaged card ratings are worse than winning me the lottery. someone help me please Im going crazy with this. Thanks in advance my hp fellow lovers. (or if your like me, it's a love hate relationship)

I think that ive reduced to the fact that it does not appear red at all. on the long desk or anywhere else im super frustrated, I spent like $ 300 today if I could play swg on the right setting and the witcherI

  • 5210 kodak printer, when I print the document runs through the printer, but nothing prints, suggestions. worked fine until today after a move

everything looks ok, but when I print the paper passes through the printer but nothing prints, suggestions. worked fine until today after a move

Check with Kodak support or website to see if there's a test or a diagnostic process that you can run to identify the problem with the printer.  It is not likely to be a problem of Windows at this point.

  • When you print color JPG files, everything comes out too blue

    Hello

When I print a JPG file in the colour of the Photos app, they come out too blue. I have the latest version of the software installed on my iMac, so shouldn't the colors match exactly? Or what settings and controls should I do?  Thank you!

    Check your printer ink levels.

  • Why my PRO - 100 black-and-white prints have a color tint?

I print out on the printer PIXMA Pro-100 and sometimes, for no apparent reason (?), my black and white prints have a color tint (generally a "reddish brown"), then when printing to new... same settings print, same... the same impression will be fine, neutral with no tint at all.

    No idea why?

Also (perhaps related?) I do not understand why Photo-Cyan and Magenta cartridges are exhausted when I'm NOT print color, but only black and white.  Am I missing something?  When you set up for printing, I always make sure that the 'Black and white photography' feature is selected in settings dialog "Quick Installation".  This ensures not only the black and gray inks are used as long as I'm not "toning"?  In other words... ONLY black and gray inks are used, if not the impression that is supposed to be a black and white printing neutral? Yet once... I missed something?

    FOR INFO:

I print on Canon Pro radiance papers and more glossy.

Under 'Options - color management', I selected:

(color management) Photoshop Elements handles colors

    (image area) Adobe RGB (1998)

(the printer profile) Canon PRO-100 1/2 Luster Photo Paper Pro

    (rendering mode) Perceptual

The most important thing is the paper you choose to print on.  Find this first release. Any Epson printer which uses UltraChrome K3 inks will do a better job with B & W as a Pro-(anything).  But Epson suffers from obstruction more far do, Canon Pro-100 problems.

If you print a lot is not too big of a problem, but if you print once a week or once a month to forget it.  Go with Canon that clogged very rarely, if ever.

Try to find the right paper.  It will make everything better.  Call the Red River or Canson and ask them to recommend a book.  Red River will work with you and they know the Pro - 100 inside and outside.

  • Red tint when printing from Photoshop to Canon IP7250

I have the same problem when I try and print to one of my canon printers.  I have Canon ip7250 and MG650 of Canon.

The prints came out without any black and the image had a red tinted layer.  On the preview, the image looked OK and black look black.

I changed between photoshop manage colors and the printer manage colors and then the red tint disappeared, however black was then with rays.  I experimented with different printing options and 7200 series PT1 works correctly.  I went back to print another using the same settings and the red hue appeared again.

How to print correctly if the impression is identical to the image on the screen.

I have a MAC with the latest operating system.

    Hi dannyboy888,

Could if it you please let me know the version of Photoshop you're working on?

Also could you please try to print from other applications outside of Photoshop with the same settings.

Red displays on all images, or individual?

Also, please make sure that the printer drivers are up to date.

    Kind regards

  • I get error messages when you try to edit or print some of my photos. "Unable to open the photos with the unavailable original files."  Some have been transferred from iPhoto, and some have been rewritten in photoshop elements. Any thoughts?

When you try to edit or print some of my photos I get the following error message: "Photos with the unavailable original files can't be op it gives you a drop-down list to find the original, but I had no chance."  Is there a way to 'do' an original or at least modify so it can be edited?

Pictures needs the original image file. This is to show you a preview in the browser, but to edit or export the photo of the original, file full resolution must be found.

What's happened before the photos have disappeared?  Photos crashed? You run an application to remove duplicates or to clean your Mac?  You have restored the library from a backup?

What version of Mac OS X you are running?

  • DeskJet 4645: I have Deskjet 4645. When HP650 color is finished, I get annoying messages & can't print, you I on

I have Deskjet 4645. When HP650 color is finished, I get messages annoying & cannot print, you print only in black & white. Why?

The printer should be printing single cartridge - remove the color cartridge and set it aside, then print with just the black cartrdige.  There are warnings that the printer is in mode single cartridge, you may need to press OK on the front panel or driver to proceed

See page 77 here user guide for more information on the mode of single cartridge.
