Bluetooth - 8900 to 9,000 programming

Hello

I'm launching the demo of Bluetooth example program to transfer data from BB 8900 BB 9000.

Bluetooth is turned on in both devices. I have manually paired devices.

When I run the example BluetoothDemo of BB 8900 program, the program does not recognize BB9000.

Determine if this model of BlackBerry or the Simulator supports Bluetooth.
If (BluetoothSerialPort.isSupported ())
{
Download the BluetoothSerialPortInfo.  Retrieves serial port information for
the currently connected devices.
_portInfo = BluetoothSerialPort.getSerialPortInfo ();
int numServices = _portInfo.length;
System.out.println ("No. volume: "+ numServices);

Create a MenuItem for each Bluetooth device to connect.
for (int count = numServices - 1; count > = 0;--comte))
{
String serviceName = _portInfo [count] .getServiceName ();
System.out.println ("serviceName:" + serviceName);

{
System.out.println ("Device Name" + _portInfo [count] .getDeviceName ());
DeviceMenuItem deviceMenuItem = new DeviceMenuItem ("connect to:" +)

_portInfo [Count] .getDeviceName (), _portInfo [count]);
addMenuItem (deviceMenuItem);
}
}

addMenuItem (_listenItem);
}

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

The sample must be open and listen to incoming connections when you get married so that the sample service is exchanged during the negotiation process.  If you did that?

    Hello

    Have no proper explanation, but try installing the new Toshiba Bluetooth stack. You can find it on http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/.

    Do these steps to check the Bluetooth feature on your device:
    1. check if the laptop antenna switch is on.
    2. press on the + - key combination to activate the Bluetooth antenna.
    If your laptop is integrated WLAN and Bluetooth.
    3. start the settings Bluetooth of the TOSHIBA-> folder program Bluetooth to turn on the Bluetooth module. Bluetooth works if you see a blue antenna with a bright blue border of the bar on your screen.
    Also a blue antenna icon with the name Bluetooth information interchange will appear on the desktop.
    4. check that your Bluetooth hardware is properly installed.
    If everything looks similar to this, your material of Bluetooth and the software is properly installed and should work normal. If you're still having problems, please see for more information on our site FAQ Bluetooth:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/pages/FAQ.html

    I hope that you will be able to connect the keyboard to the unit.

  • Satellite P205 Bluetooth Stack Installation-How long does it take?

    My Satellite P205 does not have an internal Bluetooth, but it is able to Bluetooth. I plugged a Broadcom USB and it worked at first. Now, I get an error message "Unable to load the Bluetooth Stack".

    I downloaded Toshiba Bluetooth and run the installation program. The first window opens and the bar fills to the end, and a second window opens and moving up five blue bars. Another window opens asking to have the connected device, and then click OK. It is then repeat the application every few minutes. The USB Bluetooth key is activated just before each of the pop-ups, and then the light goes out back. I thought that it would be a tedious process, because there was an instruction sheet giving details of an unattended installation. I'm unfortunately not enough common sense to change my installation script.

    The Nokia, when go to research, says "no device found".

    Is there something else that needs to be enabled. Any help would be appreciated.

    Cypriana

    Cypriana,

    Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6635uk. According to the specifications, the only network device installed on your computer is the Realtek RTL8111DL network adapter 10 / 100 Mbps. Unless you have purchased and installed a x 1 PCIe 802.11 Wireless card / adapter Bluetooth or a dongle USB Bluetooth, your computer cannot communicate with a Bluetooth device such as your phone. You will need to buy a Bluetooth adapter to enable Bluetooth communication on your computer. If you have a USB cable for your Nokia phone, you can transfer the pictures without Bluetooth.

  • Acer Aspire 7741 G-6426 Win7 32-bit: Bluetooth and Webcam not working not

    We have two laptops Acer Aspire 7741 G-6426 Win7 32-bit that neither bluetooth NOR webcam work on.  Both of them have, according to the Device Manager, all the drivers installed (no yellow exclamation point and try to update drivers yields the 'installed the latest software' message) and we seem to have all installed software.  In fact, there is no driver under Device Manager problem.

    We have Acer Crystal Eye webcam installed, but when you navigate to it (start > all programs > Acer Crystal Eye Webcam video class), the only option is "Uninstall".

    We Suite Bluetooth installed for the bluetooth, but when you navigate to it (start > all programs > more Bluetooth > Bluetooth Suite) and try to start it, nothing happens... no program will ever launch.  There is also a Bluetooth peripheral folder (start > all programs > Bluetooth devices) which says: (empty).

    What gives?

    I checked our systems and found that the Aspire 7741 G-6426 not comes with Bluetooth.

  • Impossible to install the Bluetooth software

    Hi all

    When I tried to install the latest version of the Bluetooth 12.0.0.3600 for my T430s software, the installation will stop at the end with a Chinese error message. I would like to attach a screenshot of the error message, but can't seem to find any possibility to attach on this site.

    So now I'm stuck with the driver that windows installs by default (12.0.0.10). Whenever I start the laptop, I get an error message btwapi.dll missing. There is no Bluetooth entry in ' Control Panel / programs and settings ", so I can't uninstall the old driver manually. A new habit to install (probably because the old is there and damaged.

    Someone has any suggestions how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much

    Thanks for your comments. I finished setting up the laptop from scratch. The first thing I did after installing base was to update the Bluetooth drivers and it worked without problem. I suspect that the culprit was the ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. When I updated the Bluetooth software before installing the Bluetooth mouse, I was able to update without problems.

  • How to activate Bluetooth adapter Dell Latitude D620?

    I tried unsuccessfully for weeks how to activate the Bluetooth adapter (switch on Bluetooth radio) on my Dell Latitude D620.

    First the Latitude D620 built in Bluetooth adapter? I did a search on the web, and it seems that it does. Also, I see a Bluetooth symbol just above my keyboard, but it is not lighted. How do I turn it on?

    I went to control panel, device-> maps network manager, but I do not see the Bluetooth devices listed there.

    I need to install a software? I went on the support.dell.com site and downloaded the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal Module driver installation program. But when I install it, it is trying to install the Vista profile Pack, and it fails because it 'impossible to find compatible bluetooth on your system chip' and 'DFU installation failed with returncode 137 ".

    Really hope someone can help me. Thank you.

    If still looking for the answer, that I just found out myself...

    The BIOS, under the Wireless heading, is where you put the Bluetooth radio on and outside. At least on the Latitude D620 D630.

    The big surprise is that you (apparently) can enable it in the BIOS, even if there is NO INSTALLATION of CARD BLUETOOTH!

    The cardspace bluetooth is on the far left under the bezel above the keyboard. pop up the extreme right and carefully lift the bezel to see if you have the card installed.

    It was an option, not the equipment standard.

  • Signature problem when you run the program BluetoothDemo on Blackberry 8320

    Hello

    I try to connect from my computer to the Blackberry 8320 using a serial Bluetooth transceiver.  The "BluetoothDemo" program is not function properly.  When I run it, I first see a white screen with "Bluetooth Sample" at the top.  I click on the trackball and I get a menu with the options 'Listening to connections' and 'Full Meno'.  I click on listen for connections and a screen pops up that says "connect to an external device and then type something...» "I type something on the Blackberry and the letters appear, but no other options appear to verify a Bluetooth connection.  I have already associated the Bluetooth with Blackberry, but the connection failed appears when I run the program BluetoothDemo. When I click the trackball again, I see the full menu with "Serial Port close',"Get DB", etc..

    In my view, that there is a problem with secure API signatures.  Obviously the 'BluetoothDemo' program is not run after the first steps.  When I debug on Blackberry, I see the following output from the console, which leads me to believe that there is a problem with signatures:

    ocusHistory: Focus lost; Home screen App; Component net.rim.device.apps.internal.ribbon.launcher.RibbonIconField
    FocusHistory: Acquired Focus; Home screen App; Component net.rim.device.api.ui.MediaController

    FocusHistory: Lost Focus; Bluetooth demo app. NULL component
    BT: SppWrite-1 failed: 1
    Unable to write data. Exception: java.io.IOException: BtSppWrite failed

    I was puzzled at first running the program of BluetoothDemo and initially built and generated a file alx for the com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program, which I think is used by the BluetoothDemo program.  The com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program is currently connected to Bluetooth tx/rx, as indicated by the status of remaining devices firmly on instead of flashing (when BluetoothDemo runs the status light flashes, indicating no connection). When I switch between workspaces in which I have these projects, the set of keys is not signed, and I have to sign in again, which seems to cause the keys in the other workspace to become not signed.  As further evidence of the strange signature problem, sometimes when I run either on the Blackberry there is an error that says that the application is not signed.

    I want to delete the workspace and the file alx com_rimbluetoothetc could be a step in the right direction.  Do I have reason to assume that the 'no sig 0 x 33' is a problem with API signature secure?  Could BluetoothDemo access to com_rimbluetoothserialport and be denied because there no signatures?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Not sure that your reading of the code is correct.

    _dout.writeInt (JUST_OPEN);
    _dout. Flush();

    These two statements will write out - which seems to be the first thing the code does.  Then it goes into a loop of reading, but suppose a specifically formatted data.

    In my test, I removed these and replaced with something that I thought he would be working and I'm depending on the device.  As noted yesterday picked up O the data of a GPS puck - these things just send data, they never expect anything in return.  So my code looks like this:

    byte [] buffer = new byte [1024];
    for (;;) {
        int len = _din.read(buffer);
        String justRead = "Read: " + Integer.toString(len) + " bytes: " + new String(buffer, 0, len) + '\n';
        System.out.println(justRead);
    }

  • Support Bluetooth? Please? Does not at all!

    Hi, I have a problem with my laptop's built-in bluetooth device. I use a Dell Inspiron 15r n5010 Windows 7-based.

    Recently, I tried to use the bluetooth device built to my laptop for the first time in a long time and couldn't make it work. I have had no bluetooth icon in the system tray, on the desk, and she did not appear in my device manager. My computer is a few years old, so I decided that it would probably work if I re-installed my computer of WIDCOMM Bluetooth software came with. I found the software on the Broadcom website and downloaded the installer for Bluetooth software. During the installation, a yellow triangle with a black exclamation point it appears on the installer window and asked me to plug in or turn on my bluetooth device. I know for a fact that my bluetooth device is plugged, it is in my laptop. I don't know if it's on, but I want to say that it is, as I started the Bluetooth Service and Bluetooth Support Service in the program of Services grew by searching "services.msc" in the start menu. If anyone can help me to diagnose and fix the problem, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Satellite A300-1N9 - where can I download Windows 7 drivers and tools?

    Welcome

    First of all I would like to thank you for any help or direct me to an idea about the drivers for this model, a moment, I will describe what exactly it.

    I bought this laptop with Vista I got a CD with the system and on this recording were already pilots and Add-ons for your laptop or other cool things like drivers Toshiba for camera, Bluetooth, Synaptics, dvd and a program or driver software I don't know exactly what it is, but such a cool thing that allows you to adjust the lighting on the whole Panel , including a laptop with the word "Satellite". Everything fits well, but only with Vista that I received from the Board of Directors of Toshiba.

    Now, I went on Windows 7 as for the fundamental factors that have webcam driver from the manufacturer Toshiba for example or a mouse. But most I count on these things I had with Vista, even if that Panel backlight laptop.

    Does anyone have an idea on what all the additives in the CD that I got, it of Vista where, somehow, you can extract these extras or is a site where you can download all or a list of these additives to win game 7

    Thanks again in advance for any help.

  • Reading TCP does not work sometimes

    Hi all, I have a problem when my .exe build does not work on some computers, but works fine on others. It uses a tcp connection to grab data out of a custom server program that stores data bluetooth. The construction of program works fine on my development machine, but also another office, but on a 3rd computer code simply does read the data from the server. I have disabled the windows firewall, but I have no idea what else to try - someone has this problem before?

    That tells me that there is a driver that you have not installed on the other computer.  LabVIEW 2013 tries to automatically determine what drivers you need when you configure a Setup program.  This question does not sound as if she had something to do with TCP/IP.
