  I have an acer x203h of two monitors and a 17-inch dell monitor. Acer uses firefox and chrome the dell. I repeat that my cleartype is enabled. Firefox does not make the page correctly most of the time and then just turn pixelated, blurry, difficult to read, etc. Top page down helps sometimes travel sometimes do not. I move firefox to the monitor dell and it rasterizes less but still doesn't work. Chrome isn't Pixelize on each monitor, but it seems a little fuzzy. I've only use it for windows updates. More do the less chance of the police pixellisant.

  The current font is Arial size 18. Proportional is San Serif with the rest of the choices in Arial. Allow pages to choose their own pages is checked.

  I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do in Labview, but thought I would ask the question just in case:

  On a digital falling edge I need to define a digital line on a highest PCI-6224 and a low, then read sixteen lines as a port.  Output high and low lines should change status then and sixteen lines should be read again.

  The process is repeated on the edges of successive falls.  The time between edges may be as short as 11 microseconds (90kHz).

  We have currently a program written in C++ to do this job, but I want to create something a little more friendly and have virtually no C++ experience myself.

  I have an idea how to do that using the DAQmx card.  This has not been tested, but I think it should work with just a few tricks with DAQmx.  There are three tasks that will be required:

  Meter output
  ==============

  This should be a task redeclenchables meter.  Take a look at the example in the example finder LabVIEW under Hardware Input/Ouput > DAQmx > generating digital pulses > Gen dig Pulse Train-finishes-redeclenchables.

  1. This should generate two pulse whenever the external trigger is received so your 11us impulses are the trigger for this task.
  2. these impulses are then for each reading of digital lines:

  Rising edge - changed lines to enable
  Falling edge - read data.

  By making these large enough pulse (> 140ns) that will take care of the running lines.

  3. the gap between pulses must be long enough for any delay required between the readings.

  Digital output
  ==============

  It must be a regenerative continuous power - see example material entry and exit > DAQmx > digital generation > Cont writing Dig Ext Clock.vi - Port.

  I am trying to open a file .xls existing from the same location as the test sequence file. Can you TestStand search in the location of the sequence input file test file and then select the if present? Also, can we store the output file in the same place without specifying the path to the code?

  Example:

  Input.xls-> input file to the test sequence that must be read.

  Output.xls-> output file created by the test sequence.

  Test.SEQ-> the test sequence that reads Input.xls and creates Output.xls.

  If Test.seq and Input.xls are present instead of D:\Test\, the Test.seq code can be modified to pick up the Input.xls automatically without specifying the path? In addition, can Output.xls be created to D:\Test\ without specifying the path?

  Yes, this can be done. You can get the path to the current sequence file using RunState.SequenceFile.Path. Then find and remove the last '-' using the string functions to get just the path. You can then use this path to manage your files Input.xls and Output.xls.

• How to detect the correct sequence of Boolean switches pushed

  Hello

  My program is all what I want too. However, I need to have the Boolean switches (digital inputs when wired to the equipment) be detected in the right sequence. There are 16 switches on a Board of material. The test subject is displayed 3 colors before hand and the sequence of buttons to push when prompted on the screen with one of the colors, each color pertains to a specific sequence of 4 switches pushed on 16 as quickly as possible. The sequence of buttons remains always the same according to the three colors red, yellow, blue.

  In the program, which is 99% working properly I tried to use a sequence of plate. It will give me a real if I hit the switches correctly - but will also give a real if I hit them back etc... I thought that a flat sequence is read from left to right?

  Then I messed around by using a structured event - the array of switches, pushed index and compare it to a table of values control. I understand how it works, but the correct code is elusive.

  I have attached a picture of program I did but it lacks the proper sequence. (Flat sequence)

  I have included the code for the structured event that I messed with. Don't laugh - I was just making experiences - I've never used a structured sequence before configuration.

  Hi Ned,.

  Your producer-consumer model is actually very close to work.  In the original version of screenshot, it seems you are trying to use the structure of sequence to capture the order, but in reality you will capture only the AND logical of all the 4 buttons with no information about the order in which they were pressed.  The structure of sequence does not by itself is waiting for an event to happen inside the frame, it which means that all 4 frames read as fast as the processor moves to their reading - which will be very fast.

  I've made a few changes to your VI and renamed him Rev 1.  See if it makes a little more sense with the notes I made on the front panel.  I also did a different version with a loop simple and some added functionality (-Ko), just in case Your ' e interested in another way to look at it.

  I use the NI9403 DIO module on chassis cRIO-9111 alongwith cRIO-9024 controller RT.

  I've defined a "Variable" (memory location) of FPGAS which would be written in FPGA VI. The result of the logic generated from the different digital inputs would be recorded in this variable.

  I want to read the value stored in this variable in RT VI.

  What is the procedure/sequence of read this variable in the application of the RT... ?

  You will need to create a KPI for your main FPGA VI front panel and use a loop to write your memory to this indicator.  The indicator can then be read with your RT VI using the FPGA read/write control method.

  The memory of the FPGA is internal to the chip and cannot be accessed from the outside of the FPGA code.

• transparency of PNG sequence

  Dear Adobe, when I import a sequence of png images partially transparent, transparency is recognized by legacy without problem. When, however, some of these png´s have no transparency, the entire sequence is read as non-transparent. This seems to be a bug for me as I import the sequence png´s in parts with and without transparency.

  If you mix bits of depth that it will happen.  If the number of bits is immutable and opaque pixels ends by fill the frame it should not. How the png sequence was created?

  Summary: In a situation of the nested sequence, I get short audio repetition of an element of clip just before a haircut.

  Context:

  • First Pro CC, the most recent version at the time of writing (7.0.1 (105), Windows 7 (64-bit).)
  • Structure: I have a sync sequence (sequence source multicam) consisting of XDCAM-EX (largely inspired by the AVCHD file structure) and Z1 (plain m2t files).  Derivative of / depends on who's a multicam editing sequence, where I cut between camera angles.  While the sequence is itself nested in a master sequence (showing selected excerpts from the performance).
  • Reference: Multicam editing sequence includes (among others) of a rock band "big finish" followed by some applause.  I had a Cup in the audio (only) of the element in the sequence of nested, to activate the audio for the applause to be normalized regardless of the performance of the band.  To smooth the join, I added a melted transition chained on the Cup.  Nicer in principle that the use of volume envelopes.
  • When I play the original recording or the multicam sync-sequence or sequence multicam editing, everything looks and seems fine.

  Problem:

  • During the main sequence is read (in preview or clip exported/coded) I hear the great finish, then the applause starts, then after 2 seconds "big finish" is heard once more, but the lowest audio.
  • This effect occurs whenever I used the same technique of cutting/standardize/fade chained in the editing multicam (nested) sequence.  I also met there in previous projects in first CS6.
  • If I delete the crossfade the problem goes away...  Any type of crossfade audio is used.

  Is this a known issue? and there at - it a quick fix? (other than the envelopes to the place or copy/patching the audio up to master level)

  I do this kind of thing myself and have not run into this problem.  Try to make the audio in the sequence of Cup and master.

• Problem of color correction between the initial and the multicam sequence... Help, please

  I used three cameras to record a youth dance recital.  I created a sequence of orginal for three camcorders and another sequence using multicam editing dances.  After I finished editing, I went back to the original sequence to do some color correction and adjustment of brightness using the Quick Color Correction controls.  After that, I just sent in again to create a DVD.  When I watched the DVD, I noticed some of my settings were always off, the color correction so I went back to the original sequence to make some changes.  Unfortunately, the multicam sequence would not read the new settings.  After a few unsuccessful attempts to get the element from the sequence multicam to read the original sequence clip, I decided to start by disabling fast Correction of the colors of the clip commands.  The adjusted multicam sequence then return corresponding to the original sequence.  However, when I started a new control for fast Correction of the color in the original sequence, the sequence multicam wouldn't take the new settings.  How to get the sequence mulitcam read the orginal sequence?

  Look for the error of the operator on this one.  Check that you are working in the source used for the multicam sequence.  You can do this by going to the multicam sequence and pressing SHIFT + T.  This will open the original with the ITC on the same chassis.

• Maximum for a second reading on Quad Core i5

  Don't know if it's the avenue just to ask this question, but I searched the forum and cannot find an answer - I can't contact Support as I have only CS4 and am just test first CS5.

  IM experimenting first CS5 with the update since CS4 vision soon (mainly need for InDesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver CS5), but also in watching Master Collection for more video editing and to make use of my Canon 7 d.

  The question I have is not able to read more than a second in creation (hitting the space bar or the play button) before I stop. Press replay and replay even very small amount.

  Aside from that, I really like the interface and then I import / add / edit as expected and have no problem adding effects and transitions.

  Note: Does not yet right playing a clip to preview.

  I can also export without any problem and can rub in the clip and see the effects and transitions as planned.

  I tried video footage directly out the 7 d and also several different codecs without success.

  Updated trial version that I had this afternoon, but this has not solved the problem.

  I use an iMac Quad Core i5 - 2.66hgz.

  Observe the activity of monitoring really maxed out only during export.

  So today, I decided the Final Cut Pro trial to see if it works, using the same sequences it reads smoothly without any problem - needed one made when using several layers.

  Export the same second 20 (unreleased) video is much faster in first and Final Cut Pro.

  Personally prefer the interface for creating too much and would rather spend my money in improving my suite CS4 than buying FCP.

  Is there something I missed?

  I'm working on a program of control system for some practical test work. Currently, I am working on the data acquisition of the Labview program component. My architecture is consumer-product loops with a what. My system will have analog inputs, outputs, analog inputs and digital outputs. It is not a criticism of time sytem, but I wish that all the acquisition of data to synchronize. I enclose my program because it is at the moment. I have difficulties to get all the data in the since that I have two types of data. In addition, I don't know if I have synced the four sequences of read/write correctly. I would be very happy if someone could take a look at my program and give me some advice.   OK, I m already curse this bloody language for its illusion of "simple".

  I m doing the EASIER operation of any language: filling in a line down to a 2D array.  I have just can´t find a way to do it.

  I m create a table 1 d with data of type string resulting... then I try to add an array of existing channels and this error pops up when I use the function "Insert into array.

  OF COURSE I KNOW THAT THE DIMENSIONS ARE DIFFERENT!, DUH? PRECISELY! A 1 D TABLE SHOULD BE THE LINE OF A 2D ARRAY.

  HOW ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSED TO ADD A LINE OF THE SET DOWN TO A 2D ARRAY?

  Sorry, this kind of stupidity just pissing me off the coast.

  Let me guess - you want to take the 2D HISTORIAL table and add the result to the end of this. This isn't what you are doing. You take a 1 d table and try to write it in a 2D array, that's why it breaks.

  The important point to understand here, that's the basic concepts of the data flows, which should be explained in the first LV tutorials - functions operate on the data that you give them, and controls on the front panel are not magical data stores. They hold everything you put into it. If what you want to do, that's what I described, you will have to do it exactly the same way you would in c: A = A + B, where I am the substitution of + can be added. In this case, you need to read the value of the indicator, add to this value, and then rewrite it. You can do this by creating a local variable of indicator (and remember that local variables are not the same as C.) You can use them in the same way, but their main use is to provide points of secondary access to the controls on the front panel. If you use them to store data, you will find probably yourself written race condition critical, because LV tends to be much more parallel to C and they have not the Atomic protections for sequences of reading / writing).

  LV is relatively simple. If you suffer with it, I suppose you're one of the people who think much more easily in the field of this text according to use of languages. If this is the case, you might not enjoy yourself. In all cases, it must not to throw everything you know already in terms of LV, because this knowledge do not always translate correctly. You need to take, if you have it, is ordered practical programming, such as keeping your neat code (which isn't your example). I suggest also to take a step back and going through some tutorials, because it is certainly the kind of thing that is explained in them.

  I am currently using LabView to replace another user for a scientific instrument interface.

  LabView is connected to this unit via a serial port.  The instrument spread 25 bytes of binary data from the computer every second.  I can read the binary string (Read VISA) and maintain will cause disc using a while loop.  In addition, there are some instructions I can send to the device that will do various functions (start logging, turn the LED on / off, etc.).  I can send these instructions to the instrument using the previous interface and in a stand-alone vi using VISA Write successfully, but when I place the function Write VISA in the largest interface vi, signals go haywire.  Specifically, there are two separate lights I can alternate with two different commands, but when in the biggest interface vi, the two commands Toggle the LED even.  In addition, it seems that the singal that immediately send to the instrument (a single ASCII character) bounces to the computer in the 25 bytes of binary data streaming.  In other words, after I pressed the LED 'on' the key, a column of my streaming data changes when it's not supposed to (ex: after binary to ASCII conversion, changing a single digit in a 20 digit value).

  At first, I thought that the problem was the sequence of read/write VISA.  I read all the data in the current configuration, and then leave for orders writing.  The two VISA functions are in the same loop to continuously monitor the data.  Is it possible the signal output of writing not letting the while loop and being read as input?  What would the instrument two different commands as the same as read?  My goal is to run an interface that displays data in ASCII and allows some options different rocking while that the interface works - there is an elegant/effective way more as a while loop?
