• Hyperion planning worksheet

  Hi all
  
  I have a requirement on data forms in Hyperion planning.
  Requirement says for example, if you click the dimension member year 2011 in the Page. then the data form should open in 2011 until last year.
  And at the same time, if you click on the year 2012 in the drop-down menu, then data must show from the year 2012.
  Is this possible.
  If so, could you let me know please.

  Not straight out of the box, unfortunately. The problem here is that you cannot use the same dimension in the page and column of the form section. Perhaps through some customization + user variable, but this may require very little coding.

• Create a worksheet for planning problem

  I've done a first publish on my IOP model and I am trying to create a planning worksheet.
  
  When I click on "Create-> planning worksheet" in excel using the opens new spreadsheet analysis, but when I click on 'Spreadsheet designer' in Excel it opens a screen for digit username and password and do not open the tab to select the cube and measures.

  You use 4.0.1? It was an issue that was fixed in 4.0.2.

• PROBLEM importing LCM of Hyperion Planning of artifacts

  For applications in non-unicode mode, type script and plan worksheet names should be maximum 8 characters. But your artifact (FSTSOCT13) is to have 9 characters. Test by renaming the name of the script.

  And come to the rejected members, you are facing this problem only with the members of the entity? You are able to import other members of the standard dimension?

  Have you changed the destination application name or database name?

• I struggle with the simple task of making a paper copy of an e-mail message. There is no tab for that.

  Try to open the page you want to print, press the 'PRTSCRN' button on your keyboard, and then open a blank document and press Ctrl and the letter 'V' (without the quotes) at the same time, and who should paste the page into your program, so it can be printed. You can also save it that way.

  Turn off or restart in use: lack of battery Possible. Possible loss of connection of the battery with the unit because of the movement of battery in the compartment, or dirty or corroded contacts. Possible software or the definition glitch. Failure or damage possible peripheral equipment. Troubleshoot, exclude a possibility at a time, starting with the simple and the less than fresh.

  No BlackBerry data service: no data, or no service book plan. Add line if necessary plan. Do this correctly configured carrier plan. Return service directories.

  Out of memory? Too many applications, too much data. Remove the need to free up needed space.

  Someone at - it recommendations on how to implement the file system under vSphere? For 3.0/3.5, I went with VMware book, planning the Edward Haletky (especially) in recommendations. I plan on building my vSphere on new hardware servers, so I'm curious to know if these recommendations still apply.

  Not currently. Each planning worksheet is independent. You can do more with VBA, but this will be a consultation activity.

  I just bought the book Planning admin.

  This is an excellent introduction to planning - not all what you need to know but that would be asking the impossible. The examples are clear, to the point and concise. I especially enjoy / benefit section of EPMA now that I work for the first time with this product.

  As with all the other books 'Look Smarter', I will recommend it to my clients.

• HP has plans on releasing any MFP with size book analysis function?

  I love my Pro series 8600, but also use a printer Brother mulitfunction because he has a big, big book size glass to scan. I love the fact that I can now use it instead of a copy of $ 4000 million machine. The thing is, I'd rather buy it from HP instead of brother. Does anyone know if this will be part of the HP product anytime soon? I would buy a ton of shit from them if they were made as heavy as Officejet Pro 8600 series devices. I'm sure many people would be too since printers with scanning large areas are still sold in stores!

  Please be aware that this forum is a forum for support on equal terms, it isn't a direct link to HP support.  The people here wouldn't know the future plans, and those who did whatever it is would not say because HP does not usually release information on future products.

  That said, Officejet 7500 has may be a step in this direction; It prints up to 13 x 19 and said it supports 11 x 17 scanner with mode 'waiting '.  I have not used one of them to have no idea how much point mode works, but this may indicate a recognition of the need for a large format, parse function.  You can contact HP sales and inquire.

  I highly recommend you look smarter than you are with Hyperion Planning: create Hyperion Planning Applications. The authors are humorous and do a great job of you browsing through the process without treat you like a fool. However, the book is definitely a step by step guide that is based on himself. It teaches you concepts, but relatively linearly. So if you are looking for a reference book that you can open and find examples of 'abstract', then this is not the book for you. If you are looking for a good tutorial to start, as you might find in a classroom, then certainly give it a try.

  The book is definitely aimed at developers but. Depending on your interaction with the system you may benefit more from guide to the administrator, or the two guides on the Oracle's Web site - particularly if your use of the system is less technical.
