PROBLEM importing LCM of Hyperion Planning of artifacts

Hi gurus,

I exported all the artifacts of Hyperion (planning, Essbase, HFM, SSP) Hyperion 11.1.2.0 and try to import the same in Hyperion 11.1.2.4. I finished the import of LCM of artifacts of Shared Services, but when I'm working with import of LCM of planning of the artifacts in the face of a mistake as follows,

Scripts/FSTSOCT13.csc rating type/PLAN/Calc:-name of the object [FSTSOCT13] too long for non-unicode [ADNIPAPP]-mode application.

For applications in non-unicode mode, type script and plan worksheet names should be maximum 8 characters. But your artifact (FSTSOCT13) is to have 9 characters. Test by renaming the name of the script.

And come to the rejected members, you are facing this problem only with the members of the entity? You are able to import other members of the standard dimension?

Have you changed the destination application name or database name?

The LWA is used only for internal goods traffic so that it is used in fields as FCL, if you remove the element of load balancer and point it to the web server (OHS), then it should show if it is related to the load balancing, I saw this error with the planning and LCM when there were questions type load balancer.

Where I can see the errors for rejected records file (I mean the path)

Adapter ODI for Hyperion planning

Hi gurus,
I have problem with definition for Hyperion planning server data connection. What database server, I need to use for the connection of Hyperion Planning. Planning of the app is on separate servers that the cube. Cube is on Essbase server. This means that I need to two different connections, one for the data (essbase cube) for metadata (server when considering app). Is this really?
I made only one connection on essbase server and try reverse engineering to cube essbase, which I made with the planning, of model, but it gives me an error:

ODI import not from columns of a Hyperion planning scheme

I tried to reverse engineer the Hyperion Planning application schema to get one of the tables. I added the data server and the physical schema, I added the model and made of reverse engineering. Reverse engineering is successful but the tables appear not in the models.

Dear all,

The problem has been resolved. My planning application schema name was 'AS_IS. I entered the physical schema "As_Is" and test the connection, the connection was successful. Now when I tried to reverse engineering, it gave me 0 rows.

I debugged the code to extract the tables, the code has been filtering 'As_Is' owner to get tables. As a result, it was not all columns. I changed the physical schema of "AS_IS", and now it shows me the tables.

performance problem - Hyperion Planning and Weblogic
I don't know if Hyperion Planning has a limitation on no.. user connections. We tried a performance test and found that Hyperion Planning can support around 400 to 500 connections to user under the Weblogic application server platform. We understand that Weblogic can usually take care of thousands of user connections, so we assume that it is the problems of Hyperion.

We have a server configured with 16 GB of memory. But since Hyperion Planning can support max 2 GB, the memory is not the bottleneck.

Has anyone tried the maximum number of user of Hyperion Planning under one server connections?

You could easy find out by setting the max of the JVM to more than 2 GB, if the application server not dΘmarre, so I think it is 32-bit.

We tried IE8 with system 11. It simply doesn't get it. IE8 is not officially supported yet. And over the years, I have learned this lesson: never use a new browser, unless it is officially in charge.

Hyperion Planning - cannot save members

I have a problem with my relational database Hyperion Planning.

When I open the planning and go to the dimensions, I can see everyone, I created and hierarchies.

When I try to edit or create a new Member and press on save, I'm getting no feedback from the application. Once I even had the message "failure of the SQL operation. Check the logs for more details' after the Planning Server Web service is restarted (and even the whole EPM) (I can't find the log with the message file...). This product has begun after a corruption of the database and I tried to check the consistency of the database of the planning database that returns the following (this is a sql server database):

MSG 8921, level 16, State 1, line 1
Check complete. A failure was detected while they were collecting evidence. Tempdb out of space or a system table is probably incompatible. Check previous errors.

I would like to know what is the best way to fix this without loss of information.

Re-create the application? LCM to migrate the artifacts of applications if you are unable to rebuild some of the areas.

If you are able to connect to the server of Maxl Essbase.

1. I suggest you to take a look at the Source of data for planning application. Since it is an Active/Passive with SSL configuration URL would now

http://host: port/aps/Essbase? NOMCLUSTER = cluster_name

Note: ssl = true is removed at the end

Change of the APS resolve URLS in the file essbase.cfg. Delete "https" and replace it with 'http' (Ref: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/esb_tech_ref/frameset.htm?apsresolver.html )

3. Regional service Console problem

You may need to cancel some things

a. download jnlp and change the URL, remove port 443 and https. Change it accordingly to http and the port of SST (def 19000). Save and open again.

b. in the Weblogic administration Console, you must disable "Enable the Plugin" some option like this that allow us once the SSL configuration for Regional service

I created 2 models in my designer:

HYPERION_MODEL_TEST and ORACLE_SQL_SOURCE, the first has the reverse engineering dimensions ranging from planning and the other is to get the table that contains the members of my size. For the staging area, the synopsis in memory DB is used.

First of all there is no interest in using the memory storage engine as the staging area if Oracle is your source, you can also use Oracle as the transit area, the staging area probably will not be used as usual a straight SQL query will be generated.
In your target mappings have also tried setting "run on the staging.

try to connect to a hyperion planning
I'm just starting with ODI and will have some trouble, try to connect to the planning. I have looked at the documentation and still can not understand. I'll be a bit verbose in my questions, please bear with me.

in your project you imported the RKM planning? You'll need to do before the RKM is available for reverse engineering to measure.
