• Help please - bookmark question

  I use Acrobat X Pro on a PC with windows 7.

  I created a PDF with bookmarks. I've configured to open like a read only with no authorization except security printing.

  I would like to as bookmarks to open when the file is opened by others... I opened the bookmarks, saved the file, no cigar!

  I know it must be simple, but I'm still not getting.

  Any help appreciated.

  Open the Proprties (Ctrl d) Document on your file. You need to remove the security settings to make the changes.

  Click the initial view tab.

  Select in the Navigation tab menu: Bookmarks panel and Page

  Click OK to apply and close the dialog box.

  Close and save your changes to the document include reapply the security settings.

  When you open your document, the Bookmarks panel should display.

  How can I remove "Open all in tabs" of my favorites? It is very annoying when you click on it by mistake. I downgraded from 29 to 28 due to the various bookmark questions I had. I never had this problem with the previous version of FF, why did have to mess with stuff that worked.

  Output PDF is great and the speed of the savings is ideal even for large documents. Is there a real advantage

  Hi, Karen:

  In FrameMaker documents, you can navigate to something that will become a link in a PDF document to its source, with a "hyperclick" on the page entries table of contents and indexes in the generated files and references or hyperlinks not generated documents. A hyperclick is Ctrl + Alt + click. There is no click back. You can lock the FrameMaker documents to make these active links with a single click and use the dos commands and others on the Navigation menu that appears when a locked document is active.

  To lock or unlock a document for the type of hypertext navigation and release these keys in order: F Escape (must be uppercase) l (lowercase ' el' not important 'eye' or number one) k (must be lowercase). I remember as "(F) Island (l) oc (k).»

  Google search for words like 'Lock of FrameMaker for hypertext Documents' and "FrameMaker navigation Menu" without the quotes, for more information on these techniques.

  Also, you can use the dialog box insert reference allows to browse some sort of plan file, by selecting a paragraph format such as a cap, on the left and scroll through these paragraphs on the right. Page numbers, you can see the list below indicate the first and last page of the paragraphs in the list above. It's a little inaccurate, but useful.

• Questions of Bookmark Bar Locator

  I wrote about this before; Initially, I put the 'bar' within the configuration of Firefox DO NOT suggest to my favorites, but after a while, he began to ignore this command and it would be fixed up after restarting Firefox to suggest bookmarks when you type a web address. This problem has been resolved by implementing a new profile in Firefox. After that, this problem no longer existed.

  Just to clarify:

• How can I bookmark to ask me questions in the folder in which to store the bookmark?

  On my other computer & computer of my wife, when I click on "Bookmarks" I wonder what file I want to use to store the bookmark.

  It used to work that way on this computer, but now it doesn't ask not where to save the bookmark. I just saves it in the folder "recently set bookmark".

  How can I go back to asking me which folder to use?

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

  Hello, for one of our clients I have to create bookmarks in the existing PDF. I did, everything works perfectly. But now the client came to us and told us that they want to have the bookmarks shown immediately when they open the PDF file. And now they must open the bookmarks first submenu. How can I fix?

  Open the file in Acrobat then go into file - properties - Initial display and on the "Navigation" tab, select "Bookmarks panel and Page. Click OK, and then save the file.

  I think that this can be done using a script, but it is not a simple task to implement at all.

  I recently got a Captivate 3 project with an outside provider. As I have a test of the project through our LMS, I noticed that the "bookmarking" is inconsistent. It seems to work for some specific slides but not others in the project.
  
  What could cause this? I thought bookmarking was more or less a global setting, you can have it for all the slides in the project, or any of the slides (never send interrupt data).

  I think remember me reading in these forums LMS bookmarking is available on the slides that contain an interaction with the reporting option is enabled.

  If Yes, maybe you need to enable communication, but uncheck report responses for interactive objects on your slides problematic.

• URL bar autocomplete works not, renamed file: places.sqlite, now impossible to restore or import bookmarks

  AutoComplete in the bar of my url suddenly stopped working. I use Firefox on a Mac with OS 10.10.5 43.0. First of all, I checked that AutoComplete is enabled in the preferences, "refreshed" Firefox and install a new copy. When none of that worked, I changed the name of the places.sqlite file in my folder of profile, as shown in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/951168. It worked and now the url bar autocompletes; Hooray!

  But now my favorites are gone! I supported manually to the top of my favorites in advance, as .html and .json, but when I try to restore/import my favorites of these files, it does not work: I find myself with a bunch of empty folders. Help?

  If you open the HTML export file in a Firefox tab as a web page, should your bookmarks? In other words, is this a problem of import, or was it a problem of export?
