  On your master page, make a new layer and move it to the top of the palette layers. Put your page numbering and title on this layer and then lock the layer so nothing else can be put there.

  I am using Captivate 3 and have been successful in the record of assessments in the past.  Now I record a tutorial on how to add pictures to a word document, resize them, the crops and the title and comment on the photo.  The tutorial has what I call a 'show me' then a ' try me '.  The demonstration (show me) works very well.  Assessment (try me) I record directoy after the demonstration includes the entries in text box and it is the first time one of my assessments included those, and they seem to be my problem.  First "interesting" thing that happened was that the text boxes is across the width of my project, so I had to shrink them down in the target area.  Once I got in the zone I and I run the project, everything works perfectly until I have to text entry areas.  I am able to enter text... but that's all.  I can't move or click anywhere else.

  I enclose the screenshots... not sure that this will help.

  1. First screenshot is the first entry in the text box. where the living room of words should be typed.
  2. Second screenshot is the next slide when I thought that I should be able to go down and place an X next to all the paintings.  BUT as you can see I went from the text a little box and there is no evidence of the words salon.
  3. Third screenshot is where I went from the entrance area of text upward slightly to see only the word life is available, BUT it looks like now, he wants me to click next to paint all the... but at the same time waiting for the word room complete.  (It so I hope that makes sense)
  4. The last screen shot shows the entrance of the living room full and now it seems that he wants me to check next to paint all EXCEPT I can't get past the first screen shot.

  It is not very clear on your screenshots, but it seems to me that, in the first screenshot, the text entry box is inactive from the outset (looked at the timeline). Ditto for the second and fourth screenshot. Only the third seems to have an active region for ETB. An interactive object that is set to inactive, according to me, you can have no interactivity. Could check you?

  Entry in BER must be confirmed: a Submit button (is not here) or a shortcut (default is to Enter). What did you choose?

  You talked about TEB spread over the whole project, which could mean that in the tab Options of the properties of the BER, the option "Display for the entire project" has been activated in the calendar. It is here that you can change the calendar and the active/inactive time period.
