BOOT MGR IS COMPRESSED

I just bought a used hp pavilian an 1632 x and it has windows vista ultimate on it. I went through it and cleaned. The aero does not work and the automatic backup system files on the partitioned hard drive was in the red in a critical condition. If I had the ability to remove some of the data on this topic in the form of video files and music files. So I unchecked them and then had the ability to compress everything on this partition. So I did exactly that. I also noticed that I could just format as well. So the next morning after running all night. I decided why not just completely format the partition. I didn't need all this data only in any case. I noticed that it is fat32 then I formatted, I noticed he had a ntfs it so. So I formatted that too. OK, I thought that everything looks good. The system seems to react very quickly to what I've done for her, the previous night. And I have aero working on it again. So I thought that this system is very impressive looking. I still need to defrag all do a disk cleanup and install a printer. I I twisted little about everything else. And I was impressed. So, I said I'l, restart the computer and let the changes enter into force and to proceed to the next task. When it restarted it entered the black screen after the Hewlett packard welcome screen. The black screen saying BOOTMGR is compressed. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and restart. So I did and the same thing. I went into the mode Setup and checked everything. Nothing. I sent Hewlett packard and told me to do what I've done. I sent back and said done already. They said the system restore. I'm not going to let me. It will not answer all orders! I have never seen this before... I thought I was pretty good, but now I'm really stumped. And I do not have the recovery disc for this computer. The vista I had already updated on the web site of microsoft and Microsoft eccepted as authentic software and all updates he did... You have any ideas? I think that VISTA IS WRONG... My computer is a hp pavilian a 1632 x amd based 64 bit processer 64 x 2 dual core 300 gig drive hard seagate passed disk hard test without problem... This is for windows vista ultimate... 32/64 bit edition... Please let me know if you can help... Before going to open solaris I burned just a copy of. I would really like the vista however distressed, but cannot afford to spen money right now...

How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

http://welcome.HP.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

See you soon.

  • Boot MGR missing, Windows Vista,

Hey! so I have a Lenovo that runs on windows vista, and it had this nasty virus that I could only remove by resetting my computer back to factory settings (I saved most of my personal files) and if that wasn't bad enough, when I tried to restart my computer it says "Boot MGR is missing, press Ctrl alt delete to restart ' does NOT incidentally , so long story short, to fix it, I need to use the windows vista disc to repair the file, but I don't have the disc, but I have the key phrase that sits on the bottom of my computer when I bought it, so any suggestions regarding How can I come on a windows vista disc or download windows vista so I can burn it to a disc? preference for free because I already OWN Windows Vista?

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer/laptop there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
