Bootcamp error
Hi, I wanted to install a win7 on my macbook pro, but my bootcamp requires 50 GB of free space, although I'm almost 63 GB of free space on my finder, how can I fix this bug?
To partition your drive for Bootcamp, there should be enough contiguous disk space. What is the year/model of your Mac and what type of disc is currently in the Mac?

Bootcamp errors during the installation of the USB on iMac mid-2011
I tried to install Windows 8.1 on my iMac for mid-2011. The problem is that my optical drive is not working properly.
I created a USB bootable via Bootcamp Assistant on my MBPr and have tried my iMac HARD drive partitioning, using OSX disk utility and disk in recovery mode utility. I tried to leave the space as free and formatted as ExFat and fat.
At the start of the usb drive and try to install on the bootcamp partition, I get the error that it is a MBR and not on a GPT partition.
In addition, do not know if it's important, but it is a secondary internal drive. My main drive of OSX is an SSD. I have no problem accessing the drive in question under OSX.
Help please!
Mac 2011 (and more) have challenges with no DVD installs due to optical drive problems. Changes to the file info.plist Bootcamp to allow creating install USB works only partially because of start-up problems. Only two solutions that work with a high degree of success are

I have Setup with Bootcamp Windows 8 and then upgrade to Windows 8.1, and then upgrade to Windows 10.
When I want to restart the training camp that I got the error message: "the startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.
According to this page, it is because of Windows recovery partitions added during the 8 to 8.1 migration and 8.1 to 10.
I check with diskutil and I found 2 partitions of Windows Recovery:

I tried to delete the Windows Recovery 2 partitions with disk utility tools but the button "-" to remove them were leaving is disabled.
Is it a good idea to remove these partitions? If yes how?
1. What is the year/model of your Mac?
2. you are trying to install a new copy of the W10 or remove the existing installation?
3. do you have the W8 or installation/upgrade W8.1 had problems before the upgrade of the W10?

I'm trying to install bootcamp 8.1.but window 6 showing this error "' an error occurred when copying windows installation files" "
"a lot of times (6, 7 times) I ran bootcamp and whenever I need to download window support software.i m using el capitan on early 2015 macbook air.
Please help me fix this error or help me down to bootcamp 5... I have successfully installed the window using boot camp 5 on yosemite on previous operating system...
Bootcamp is 3 things
1. a bootloader, just choose what operating system get this start is rarely changed
2. a configuration tool, from osx, prepare the installation of windows after Windows is installed is no longer anything apart you can change which operating system is by default started
3. a package of drivers apple tested on windows knows if work
the only real difference between 5 and 6 (3), then you can downgrade by downloading the zip 5 apples site https://www.google.dk/search?q=bootcamp+driver+zip & ie = & oe = driver
believe that the only difference between 5 and 6 are Windows 10 drivers for the Mac support

Bootcamp error: CDBOOT: couldn't find the Bootmgr
Hello:
I am trying to run bootcamp for Windows 7 on my early 2011 15 "Macbook Pro and get to the point where the computer restarts and I get the following message:
CDBOOT: Couldn't find the Bootmgr
Internal superdrive in my computer drive no longer works so I use an external hard drive.
Is there any solution for this? I can't find anything to El Capitan.
Thank you

If the built-in internal optical drive does not work, you can try the method using VMware/Winclone - http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=20584499#post20584499 .

MacBook pro 2015 bootcamp error
Hi all
I have a MacBook pro, 2015, with 10 Windows boot camp on it (300 GB Mac, PC 200 GB)
Windows and Mac have been working fine, until yesterday
I tripped over the cable and disconnected the device (no problem, right?) but it off instantly, even if it had a decent amount of battery left and noticed a time of incredibly long boot, but Windows (which was what it was defined on) seemed fine, so I don't think about it
But today I tried to use the side mac and I have serious problems
-Incredible Lag (I pressed the H key, as a test and it came 2 minutes later)
-Controls unresponsive (keys don't line up with what has been typed)
-The mouse move (he jumped to a place randomly after trying to move)
I did not connect, so I don't know anything about the problem
If anyone has had this problem or knows something about it, I'd be delighted to hear your advice
Thank you!

No sound after installing windows 10 MBP 2012
Hello world
Here's what I did.
I have MBP 2012 with El Capitan on it.
I installed windows on this 10. Here are the steps I followed.
- Plist file modified to allow the creation of iso windows 10 on USB for my MBP (PreUSBBoot USBBoot and 2 other usual changes)
- ISO file 10 Windows installed
- Make a key USB bootable but Bootcamp with drivers
- Use disk utility to partition the drive for windows (reason - because it gives error while installing windows, windows MBR EFI only on device TPG error)
- Restarted my MBP used and selected EFI boot option key (as when installing windows in Bootcamp, it gave an error saying no device found startup)
- Installed Windows and driver loaded by installing bootcamp
- Everything works fine but the sound
Tried, but failed
- Clean install of windows if partition bootcamp (error - no found boot device)
- Boot EFI (error - error EFI GPT MBR, windows can be installed only on TPG error)
- Tried the update of drivers for the sound. However, did not
Please help me with the steps to solve this problem. In addition, windows is not activated is there any way through which I can still get windows 10 free.
Change the Info.plist file is incorrect. Your MBP 2012 takes in charge the two, USB and DVD facilities. Please use BCA and remove the current installation. Installation of Windows using boot EFI on a preUEFI machine will cause more problems.

How to convert the MBR to GPT to work around Windows Installer error bootcamp
Hello
I have a problem as a previous post (8.1 to Windows Installer on iMac with drive fusion, GPT partition error):
"Hello,
I have tried to install windows via bootcamp on my iMac and can't seem to fix the "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is the GPT partition style' error.
I successfully completed all the steps until I'm in Windows Setup and select the partition on which Windows should be installed. I get the error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is the GPT partition style. "I formatted the partition, but I still get the same error. »
Trying to get this resolved as soon as POSSIBLE. I have a MacBook Pro 8.2 (early 2011). El Capitan installed. I already disabled SIP. Try to install Windows 10, if possible, or 8.1 if and then to 10. The target volume is disk0s4. I tried to look around in this forum and elsewhere to solve my problem. I have met help desk 'Loner' of T and hope he can ring for my case. Here is the result of the following commands in a Terminal:
diskutil list
Cs diskutil list
sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0
sudo fdisk/dev/disk0
In addition, I downloaded gDisk but I can't seem to be able to select all the options. Be waiting for instructions.
Thanks in advance.
Best,

0 x 0000034 BCD error Bootcamp, no startup repair
Hello! I have an end 2013 15 "Macbook Pro, which was double started with OS X 10.11.3 and Windows 10.
After that a particularly large set of Windows Update, on reboot, I get an error indicating that the boot files are missing (error 0 x 0000034). I followed other threads and created a 10 Windows Installer media on a SD card and trying to run the Startup Repair to correct the mistake of BCD.
However, when you start the SD EFI icon in bootcamp, I get a message saying that it seems that I started a Windows upgrade, would I like to continue the upgrade by removing the installation media, or rather to perform a new installation of Windows 10. If I remove the media, I went back to the original error blue screen. If I try a clean install, I'm going through some windows asking for language, entry etc then arrive at a window that asks where I want to install Windows 10.
There are 5 possible partitions available in the window of dialogue and a variety of options, including the 'Refresh' and 'Format', but there is no option to run the Startup Repair tool.
There is another option/icon that appears in bootcamp which is simply called "Windows". Try to boot from this icon gives the same results as starting from the EFI icon, but to a much lower screen resolution (everything is larger and more irregular).
TL; DR: How to startup on a bootable SD card repair, when Windows thinks I have been in the middle of an upgrade when BCD files have been lost?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Technical specification:
End 2013 15 "Macbook ProOS X 10.11.3, Windows 10
I7 to 2.3 GHz
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB
500 GB of Flash storage (334 GB on OS X, 164.6 GB on the bootcamp partition)
Update: I now suspect that the issue is the ISO used to create the bootable media is from a later version of Windows, as my machine crashed in the middle of an update. Is it possible that I can know which version of Windows, I had when BCD files were deleted, and if so, how can I configure the bootable media so that the computer allows me to use the Startup Repair tool?
I tried to boot from a USB instead of SD, without any difference in the results.

Error when installing Bootcamp code
Hello
I have an iMac nine K 5, 2016 and an installation of USB 3.0 Windows 10.
When you install through bootcamp, windows install starts, but fails to install due to "windows could not create the error offline local information 0x80ff0000.
Tried to delete the partition and using different .iso files.
What should do?
What's on this USB 3.0 Windows Installer of 10?

Long story short, I installed windows 8.1 using Bootcamp, went very well. I was just curious how it would go.
in any case, tonight, I decided to delete the Windows partition (Bootcamp Partition), and I got an error in Bootcamp that says "sorry couldn't do Mac OS partition a new»
With that I went to the disk utility and tried to partition the disk on a partition again, which it did, but now I have 40 GB of "other space". I literally have nothing stored on this computer, until I installed Windows 8.1 which was not there.
Also, when I start it up I always get Windows start first if I do not hold Option, then it goes to the blue screen, obviously because he's not here.
I started to recover, tried to fix it, verify, erase free space, etc.. I'm running a MacBook Pro 13 "128GB 2015.
On a Mac of 2015, the disc is divided into a group of logical volumes and Volume for OS X, and a partition for Windows. If BCA fails to restore it correctly, the part of Windows do not get properly gathered in the LVG/LV. The other questions you have, it's that there are remnants of the Microsoft your EFI partition Boot code.
To solve both, the easiest and safest method is
1 backup OSX and all of your files - use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support .
2. boot into Internet recovery (CMD + Opt + R) - OS X: on OS X Recovery - Apple Support .
3. click on Utilties-> disk utility and erase your entire internal drive.
4. restoration of OSX and your files - use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support .
This requires another external drive that can accommodate TM backup - backup disks that you can use with Time Machine - Apple Support .

There is not the OS as "Windows XP Pro SP3 Ultimate Edition"!
When I try to open it with Fusion, after I entered my password, I get the error "cannot open disc" / Users/DBM/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Machines virtuelles/Camp/%2Fdev%2Fdisk0/Boot Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm/Boot Camp partition.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Note: These steps assume that you have a default Apple installation of Windows and a VMware Fusion Boot Camp Virtual Machine default partition and if you changed the Boot Camp partition the Virtual Machine to add additional hard disks to be virtual or RAW disk then do not use these instructions unless you backup the Boot Camp partition the Virtual Machine package first.
1. If the merger is open, close it.
2. in a Terminal (/ Applications/Utilities/Terminal) copy and paste command, as the following and then press Enter and it will remove the Boot Camp Virtual Machine meta-data partition. Note: This does not affect the Boot Camp partition to install Windows. Also be sure that you copy the entire command below "rm" line at the beginning of the "(quote) after the p in the Camp of. "
RM - dfr "/Users/$ the specified item was not found./Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines / Boot Camp."
3. start Fusion (/ Applications/VMware Fusion.app) and select the Boot Camp partition on the library of the Virtual Machine window, and then click the run button.
Notes: Then, an authentication dialog box appears. "VMware Fusion requires that you type your password." Enter your name and password, and then click OK. (It is necessary to remove the Boot Camp for the merge partition to access it directly).
Then, we should see a Boot Camp partition message stating "VMware Fusion prepares your Boot Camp partition to run as a virtual machine. This may take a few minutes. This occurs once. »
When the virtual partition Boot Camp Machine starts for the first time after this VMware Tools may want or will install/update and restart the virtual partition Boot Camp Machine.
