• RVS4000 > ROUTER set to use custom dns?

  Here's my situation:

  my ISP assigns me a dynamic ip address. That's pretty standard. with my IP, I get my DNS settings as well. This is quite normal. I totally understand this.

  However, I want to use CUSTOM DNS. in windows, I can do this very easily. in the "Network connections" window, I select my network card properties. If I change the properties of the TCP/IP Protocol, I get the dialog box that is present in the "windows.png" file attached to this post. Here, I'm able to make my computer receives the dynamic IP address, but I then overwrite the DNS and use my own.

  so now that I've explained clearly the question and all of the obstacles, how can I configure DNS custom my router while in DHCP mode (just like windows has RIGHT WATCH IS EASILY POSSIBLE SINCE PROBABLY 1995)?

  Another question, you can ask yourself - why not just let my clients get the custom DNS and be happy? because I have that I still want to have access to some of the names of internal network. If customers have custom dns turned directly to them, they will never be able to resolve internal names. If I can just tell my router stupid to use custom DNS, clients always use the router as their DNS, and when the router receives requests, it can then determine whether the DNS query is internal and send it to the network card, or if she needs to go outside.

• Base stations automatically choose roaming configuration overlapping channels overlap

  I have a roaming configuration, as shown in the photo. When I select Auto channel (on 2, 4 or 5 GHz) selection every now and then the base stations choose the same channel, which causes interference. On 2.4 GHz is easily solved by manually selecting the channels not bunk.

  5 GHz, however, manual channel selection is not a solution. All three base stations use wide channels in 5 GHz (the Airport Express does not support dual band and only uses 5 GHz). A selection of no cumulation of the channels would be channels 36, 44 and 52. However, the only available channels for the manual selection of the Netherlands are 36, 40, 44 and 48. So I need to use the automatic selection on at least a base station, which unfortunately results in channels that overlap every now and then.

  I know that the base stations should choose the channels not bunk by themselves, but apparently they do not always. Does anyone know a solution for this? My current solution, when the wifi is flaky, is to use the application Explorer of Wifi to see if there are stations base using the same channel and if so, restart the base station "at fault." Obviously not an ideal solution. The second photo shows my current channel selection. 5 GHz channels are set to automatic and are currently not overlapping. The network dlink is not mine.

  

  I understand the problem... This is the European version especially airports that restricts the use of channels in automatic configuration. I do not understand why Apple does. Other brands are not. USA or where I am in Australia, I have a much larger selection and channels... Same as the automatic selection.

  Try something... Instead of using the non-overlapping channels, try to use the same channels. This amounts to extend wireless, when you think about it. In time both the base and expand the unit and can transmit or receive at the same time... (not to each other of course) but to other customers. And it works well.

  Test if this will cause a slowdown of your use wireless... control somewhere between the units where it is possible, a client may bind to one or the other... Disable one and test the speed of the link (actually transfer a file... not just a link speed)... now, close the other device and redo the test... so you know what transfer speed can be expected from each single unit. Now run the two units on the same channel, say 36. What result do you get this?

• Ringtones using custom. Help, please.

  Hi all.  I am new to this forum and Palm.  A week ago I bought a Palm Pre Plus from Verizon.  I have version 1.4 update installed as well.

  My question is this: I've set up ringtones for specific calls.  I also put a song for "incoming calls" (i.e. calling strangers who are not personalized).  How to use custom ringtones I have for individuals?  I looked and looked for a week (since I bought the phone) for an answer to this question, nothing helps.

  How about a caller without a specific set of the song? Or an unknown number, which then plays?

  When you set individual ringtones and global, are you able to preview them by clicking on the button play to the right of the file name? After you have previewed, you tap on the name of the ringtone to change setting?

  There is no further action to take to assign a ringtone outside either overall or individually or both. The individual parameters replace the world for contacts where it is set. If it is not set, the global setting will remain.

  Tables are seldom will do what you want in a fluid design. You are going to need to abandon the tabular presentation and use css to position the containers so that your fluid layout grid to be fluid.

  If you use the auto white balance setting in the camera it is remove the Green tint in the embedded preview raw file (JPEG files). LR White Balance tool is more limited in range compared to the correction of the White Balance in the camera. On your screenshot posted the tint WB slider is set to 150 (Magenta), but clearly it is not sufficient to correct the under cast of green water. You can create a custom profile of DNG to extend LR Temp WB and range of hue as shown here:

• Using the baseline grid and 'space after' for formatting

  I use InDesign CC on a MacBook Pro of the retina. I'm designing a document and you want to use a reference grid to align the text. I would like also to use the option "space after" in the definition of a paragraph style. I use the type of 10 points on the line spacing by 15 points. "Space after" is defined as 7.5 points.

  If I try to apply both database grid orientation and the specification of "space after", I basically lose my pt 7.5 defined "space after" a lot more space because the wells of the first line of the following paragraph to the reference grid line below. I find myself essentially with 22.5 pt instead of 7.5 pt.

  These two incompatible functions or y at - there a way around that I don't know?

  There is no way around it. Best is to calculate your different leading.

  base line. In this way you avoid having to rely on "Align on the baseline." You

  can also turn on "skip dragging ' in Preferences > Composition if

  you have graphics with dressing in them.

  There is typo in the ATG installation that creates this problem.

  For example, change the file C:\\DAF\Search\Index\META-INF\MANIFEST. MF

  I've tested this on my end but unable to reproduce the problem. The above module gives me the desired result. Here's a test page, I setup for you with the results.

  As you can see in the last example on the above page, I've set up to use {module_blogpostlist,--template = "/ customblogtemplate.tpl 1.2"} which makes exactly two latest blog posts on all blogs on my site. Change the value of the last 2 to 5 renders 5 blog posts.

  If it still does not for you, I can suggest is to check if you do not have some HTML between the module code that occurs generally if you change the code of the module in Design view, leading to a rupture in the features or the expected behaviours.

• Can I create a slide show of portfolio using custom thumbnails?

  Hello. After searching forums and watch several tutorials Lynda, I can't find an answer to my question. I create a new portfolio site for me and for the page of the actual portfolio, I have advanced and created thumbnails customized for each of the pieces I want to display and gave them all the same State of reversal (see below for how I want to watch when hovered over the image of screenshot).

  

  I expect to be able to use them as a trigger to get a slide show pop up, but it seems that the only way to do it in Muse is using one of the existing widgets. I know that you can customize the widgets, but I see nothing, I use custom thumbnails, I have already created. I forget something or is - this all simply not possible in Muse and I need to change my thumbnail layout to match that allow widgets?

  And for a secondary question, my portfolio images are all different sizes (depending on the type of design, of course). One of the widgets in Muse have the ability to change their size and shape based on the image? Or do I have to do all of the images in the same window size?

  sebrame Thanks for pointing the compsition widget! I could do with it, Gallery without moving my project in dreamweaver! I don't know about your slide show widget, but for me it doesn't let me do the triggers of different sizes. If you resize a thumbnail, it will resize itself all at the same time. :/

  RimVai Yes, last week I actually did with the widget of composition - which was really longer than the slide show > lightbox widget. But there are actually presets just makes it a little less hard with compositions. (You must just be very careful when you add the images).

  You may know these already, but I write them here on a case where someone who can't read this thread.

  You don't need to add all the 200 thumbnails one by one. Simply place the widget in publication and then use the 'place' to add all your images. Click on the first thumbnail box with tool place: Muse will automatically add all the 200 photos in separate 200 thumbnails that you then be resized and move. The order of the photos (without the lightbox image and the thumbnail link brokerage) can be changed after you add photos of lighbox, dragging the thumbnail object in front of or behind in the widget.

  While adding the lightbox image, make 100% sure that you are on the first thumbnail lighbox page, then use the tool of "place" again and click the box that should keep the content of the first tile. He will put on all new 200 photos in the separate lighbox 'pages' or whatever they are called. If you were in the area of the first thumbnail, images will now be in order and related to their correct thumbnails.

  I agree, the composition is much more inconvinient to use the slideshow widget, but in my case I really need as thumbnails of different size for my Gallery. So for me, it was worth the work, I guess. The best thing Muse team could do with this, would be to activate thumbnails of different size with slideshow widget as well, but until that happens it is the best option for me.

  In fact the above line is very necessary that you try to send the LoginEvent before the eventListener is saved... I mean are you first

  sending of the event, then after you load the Module... How do you think that the component will listen for this event when your component of Module

  is not yet loaded.

  So first of all, you need to wait for the Module to load and eventLisner to be registered first before ship you the event... Try also to register the

  eventListener in the preInitialize your Module that I posted the same thing in my last post...

• Can you use the color picker when setting gradients in Illustrator?

  I am able to set up a custom in Illustrator without any problem gradient, but I wanted to know if there is a way to use the color picker when setting your custom colors or if you are limited to a narrow bar of color (which has all the colors but feels harder to use for me)?

  Click color to change in the Panel degraded stop / palette. Then, double-click on the fill area at the bottom of your tool palette/Panel. Who should bring up the color picker and color you choose apply until stop in the gradient you had clicked.

  Alternatively, double-click the area fill with nothing selected to bring up the color picker. Choose your desired color, and then drag the color from the fill box to the Swatches palette/Panel to create a new shade. Later, with the gradient panel/palette active, you can drag samples directly on the steps of color to change your gradient.
