Bought the first 13. Does not burn dvd slideshow created in 12 of the elements.

I created a slide show in 12 items. Recorded as WMV. Tried to burn DVDs. Download the message inviting me to try the first 13 trial. Have already bought 13 first, but which does not recognize the 12 elements.

Tried opening 13 first, import my WMV file. Go to create DVDs. After that it seems to go through the complete combustion, I get a message that says that something is preventing the complete combustion. Provides a link that takes me to a page that is not available. Is there a way to get my 12 items to bind to the first 13? What else can I try?

If you have issued your slideshow Organizer items 12 to get a wmv file saved on the hard drive of your computer, you should be

able to import that in first 13 items editor with add Media/files and folders of the editor and edit and export accordingly.

There is no integration between the Publisher of slide show of 12 elements Organizer and first 13 items Organizer 13.

However, you can convert the catalog 12 to 13. But it will take 13 allows you to convert the slideshow in this catalogue in its new format which

is significantly different from what you used in 12.

Have you updated 13 to 13.1 yet. If you have, say the program uses a new feature in 13.1 that leaves you with the .iso image file

If you hit the burn to fail. You can take this file to DVD-VIDEO on DVD .iso image using a free program called ImgBurn.

You can also use burn DVD/record/Publish + share on (4.7 GB) file to download a backup file containing the VIDEO_TS folder that you can

Download DVD-Video on DVD using the ImgBurn program.

  • Software Sonic does not burn DVDs on Satellite 105

    Hello

I have a few movies that I downloaded via Windows movie maker, but did not burn. I edited movies with all the works, I was able to burn using CD disc, but does not burn with a DVD-R disc.

My other attempts involved using the pre installed Sonic DVD maker software, but I couldn't transfer my films to the library of windows movie maker (WMM). How can I do this? I tried to import the movies, but the Sonic would be important only videos found in the "My videos file", I transferred a movie in my video folder and was able to transfer it to the sound library, however, I couldn't find a way to edit the video, the software Sonic does not appear to guide you on the steps to do , in contrast to WMM.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated since I've lost too many CD drives already.
    See you soon

    Hello

I put t know if Windows movie maker is able to burn on DVD s. I presume that it s is not possible. I checked the WMM options and it seems it is only an option called save on CD and nothing on the DVD.

I don t use Windows movie maker but another application called Nero burning ROM.
It really great software s. I installed some add-ons and I can create DVD movies and play with the DVD drive simply.

I recommend to check and test the Nero!

  • Equium L20-197 does not burn DVD

    Hello

I've had my Toshiba Equium L20-197 for more than a year. I have problems with the DVD burner. He is able to play DVDs, burn CDs and play perfectly fine CDs, is not just to burn DVDs. Had this problem for months, I was wondering if anyone knows a solution for it!

Secondly, a question more than a question. Is it possible to set the "Play/pause" media key to open an alternative application to Windows Media Player? I use Winamp, and it would be nice if I could take a break using this button and I not WMP opens in the process!

    Thank you

    Astiak.

    Hello

First something about burning your DVDs of problem.
Have you tried to burn different types of DVDs? I mean if you have tried different brands of DVD?
I use only the TDK CD and DVD and I am satisfied. But this does not mean that the TDK will work with your hard drive. The fact is that not all readers of support all media.

In any case, do you have an error message during the burning process? Have you used different burning applications? I only use one program for burning (Nero) and I do not mix the burning software. I noticed that the sonic program installed on the laptop could have a negative influence on the burning process.

But on the other side, it is possible that disk and that only aid failures.
Especially the lens of the drive can not calibrate properly and so the CD / DVD cannot be recognized or burned.

    Now the button configuration media;
Unfortunately, the buttons are configured fix and it is no longer possible to use WMP if audio CD has been inserted or with WinDVD if the DVD has been inserted.

    I hope I could help bye ;)

  • CDDVDW ts-l633m does not burn DVD

    Hello

I have a HP probook 4310 s with a system of Windows XP mode and a cddvdw ts-l633m driver.
For some unknown reason, the driver, who is supposed to be able to burn DVDs, is unable to do. When I insert a DVD, it does not recognize as an accessible media in writing, it only recognizes as a readable media. However - it burns CDs very well.
I used several different DVD available in writing and made sure the batch I bought was not defected.
Anyone has an idea why my DVD writer cannot burn DVDs?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You might have a disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

DVD/CD have a tolerance + - and you have to write on the side outside their tolerance.
They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    ==========================================

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  • Why PreE does not burn my slideshow on a DVD project?

I created a slide show using 6 PE and sent 4 PreE. However, when I try to burn a DVD using PreE 4 it just quits on me? Then, I can not open same PreE? I don't really know what's going on? My full slide show is saved in PreE 4 and I can find it at adobe\Premiere Elements\4.0\ name of the project. However, when I try to open it nothing happens. I thought that maybe my slide show was too big for the PreE, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. My saved PreE 4 slideshow is 8.29 MB and PE 6 slide show gives a play time of 56:43 minutes after creation.

A standard DVD is 120 minutes and 4.7 GB

Can someone tell me what that the Devils going on here or at least give me advice to solve this dilemma.

    Thanks for any help provided.

Since you have PES, let's see if we can save some work. You help me a bit here, I don't use of PSE, but the full PS, and it doesn't have a built in slide show function. However, what I would do is the first to record every pre and PSE. Then do a Save_As and increment the names of the projects to say 1. These Save_As projects will be those you work with, just to make sure that we don't mean anything upwards. You will always have the originals of the two.

Then, look over this ARTICLE on resizing the images. It is written for the PS, but I believe that everything works the same in post-secondary studies. You will do this operation outside your slide show, for reasons that will become apparent in a moment.

What you will do first is to move all still images that you used in your slide show to a different folder for guard duty, and to empty the folder, where they were stored, when you did the slide show. Using PSE, implemented an action in order to size the images down. 1000 x 750 Steve's suggestion is a good thing. If you have NO need for any image views, when he zoomed out, you can save resources by selecting the frame exactly as your project Preset size. When you run the controller Action > batch (or whatever the PES might term it), choose the new location of the moved file Source folder and direct the output to this folder now empty. Keep the file names the same.

What we want to do is to replace the larger with smaller original files in the original location and the same file names. I do not know the structure of projects to post-secondary studies, but it works very well for the pre and PrPro, as their project files are just the basics of XML. At this point, open your project file Save_As and see if the sizes knit. Check everything.

If this does not work for the slideshow in PSE, go ahead and open the Save_As project here. He expected to work well in the meadow.

As I said, a gotcha' is that I do not work with slideshows in PSE, but all mine create directly in PrPro. There may be a very good reason why my method will not work in your case - it's why we have these files in project Save_As to both programs.

If my method does not work, you always have your resized images. It will be a leg up the redo any project with smaller images, but I want to save you because a lot of work, I can.

Good luck and please report how my method works, or not. I would like to learn a little more about the slideshow of the PES in the front, just for my education.

  • Satellite Pro A210-1 b 1 does not burn DVD

    Hi guys,.

I got a problem here. I tried many times to burn DVDs on my laptop, but it does not work.

I tried to burn DVDs with Nero, DeepBurner, Windows Media Player and Windows explore any of them successfully. (Only Nero and just once).

What is happening is: I put the blank DVD disk, start Nero (or other program) select the files and click on burn. It doesn't show any errors during combustion and post-combustion, I check the disc and seems to be really burnt (the color of the disk where files there is darker) but after inserting the disc again in the PC it shows: blank DVD!

I'm really annoyed with it because I got a lot of files to burn, and I can't.

Anyone has an idea on what to do?

PS. : Already put the recovery disk and formatted my system whole and already tried with Windows XP.
I tried to burn a DVD (to check if it is not the media) on another laptop and it worked very well.

Please guys, try to help me.

    Thank you

  • M40X. DVD/rewritable does not burn DVD

When I bought the computer everything worked properly, I could burn CD / DVD / RW, etc. After having a format and reinstall all the features that TOSHIBA has (pre-installed TOSHIBA software), I am not able to burn DVDs, even if I tried to burn in the same kind of DVD he was burning to. I can still burn RW but they are not played anywhere other than my own computer.
What should I do? why it works that way?
Note: After format the computer has taken at least three times the time to start than when it was new.

    Hello Arnold,.

Regarding your problem of DVD, it sounds as if the DVD you are burning are not finalized by your burning software. This will result in the burned DVD (R or RW) only be playable in the unti who burned and nowhere else. I don't know ask your help for DVD burning but check for all options which will finalize your DVD. You should then be able to play them back anywhere.

As for you laptop to take three times as long to start, are you sure that you do not have additional applications starting by default now that you have re-installed averything. I suggest that you search what is actually underway when you load your operating system (click on start-> Run-> Msconfig) and then everything you don't want to actually delete the list.

  • Satellite Pro L500 does not burn DVD

I have TWO laptops Satellite Pro L500 with a TSSTCorp TS-L633C DVD - RW. BOTH have the same problem - burn a DVD fails during the finalization process, regardless of how fast you burn at.

    Burn the CD works fine.

Burn fine blank DVDs on a laptop Satellite L500D using the HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT20N drive, as well as on an another Satellite Pro L500 which is to use a Pioneer drive.

Two laptop computers with problems are ongoing running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, but nothing else than the software that came with the laptop. Both are new straight out of the box. Driver is the current version driver, from what I can find.

Any suggestions? When a laptop has shown problems, I thought that maybe it's the reader, but now 2 notebooks of totally different stores showing exactly the same problem?

    Thank you.

Have you tried different brands of DVD?
I can't give you a properly answer why the drive can't burn your DVD - RW, but to my knowledge not every media is supported by the player.
So I think you should check different DVDs.
