  This is a HTML thing and not a thing of the APEX.

  Tags works only for known-to-the-browser MIME types.

  For tags work, your browser must have the plugin appropriate for this MIME type.

  PDF works because (almost) always PDF plugins are installed:

  • FireFox includes its own PDF plugin
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (which almost everyone has) offers a plug-in also

  MS Office documents... not so much.

  In order to display a Word document in a web browser, you must have a Plugin who knows how to view Word documents.

  (.... Or... be stuck with Internet Explorer...)

  I believe that OpenOffice is a plugin... but you can be guaranteed that the {end} user has this plugin installed.

  We have a model to use for the production of content. In this model will be pieces of content with repeated formatting. We have this repeated formatting stored in a file to copy and paste into a document. In general start us a new document by copying and pasting formatting repeated in a new file, and wrap that in a Document element tag. Before we wrap up, we'd see tags. This time we have not. That's when the original question has been postponed. Did not make a difference which machine we use we have achieved the same result.

  This morning, I was using the information posted by eager Beager. During trials and errors, I inserted an element of document in the new document and then pasted the formatting repeated. The displayed element tags. Now I can turn them on and off without problem on all machines. The element that makes this strange is now that I can't get the original circumstances of repeat. Everything works. No problems. FM... freaking magic!

• CFQUERYPARAM tag does not work in the GROUP BY clause

  I get an error whenever I put a CFQUERYPARAM tag in a GROUP BY clause. I saw on another forum, someone had a similar problem with the ORDER BY clause

  Cachedwithin and cachedafter functions store the query results in the RAM of the server.   a. you only see the image in preview if encode you this url in amx?

  b. can you try to add *. iconbug.* whitelist and try. (You can do this MAF - application.xml-> Security-> remote URL whitelist)

  to change the color of foreground text which, according to some conditiosi, need to print in
  PDF format using xml and rtf files reports.
  But I was able to get only 3 colors (red, blue, green) to use, other colors such as orange, cyan etc are not
  work.
  Please let me know what all the colors are supported by oracle in printing to PDF using xml reports.
  Indicate if we do a few things related to parameters or so.
  
  I'm usning 5.6.3 XML version.

  Colors can be expressed by a known name and a hexadecimal value. The hexadecimal format is widely used in HTML programming and has a format of #abcdef, and "abcdef" may be as aaddcc values and so on. For some primary colors, you can get away with #abc, but this is not very common.

  You should always design with colors Web safe in mind. That limited to 16, but should be much thinner (more all 16 have known names like red, cyan, yellow, etc.).

  I think that the redirect can be a problem. It works if you choose a url that links directly to a stream for example

  Have you tried? I used the audio tag to read feeds with success on OS6 and OS7. On OS6 was a problem of the CBC, but the original CBC played yet.

  I just downloaded the demo and installed. Don't run the examples, no problem. So, I stopped cfmx and removed cfx_activmail.jar. The next time I ran the example I got:

  The "CFX_CFX_ActivMail" CFX custom tag not found in the database of the custom tag. Please don't forget to add tags customized to the database before you use them. If you have added your tag to the database, then you should check the spelling of the tag in your template to ensure that it matches the entry in the database.

  Looks like your problem is a problem of classpath. Why is the entrance to classpath on your cfadmin inside the quotes page? This is probably the problem. Confirm you have a good copy of the c - view in winzip or unjar it to confirm that the classes are there. If it is a good pot, place a copy to cfusionmx7\lib and restart cfmx. CFMX loads all jars in the lib directory. Test again. If it works there was something wrong with the classpath that you entered. Understand there or just leave the jar in the cfusionmx7\lib directory.

  Character formats or text attributes caused by Variables seem to be kept on the xref.

  What might work, however, is to put the text in a file external FM and bring it as a Medallion.

• [VersionNumber] does not work for RT?

  I use the tag [VersionNumber] when I build my host applications as well in the exe name and in the name of the folder. It helps enormously to maintain different versions of the same application and also to understand immediately what version is stored where.

  It's surprising, but it seems that the same tag does not work when I want to build a RT application:

  The tag [VersionNumber] in the "target file name" filed creates a file, for example: 'LEC_RT_V [United] .rtexe' rather than 'LEC_RT_V1.2.3.4.rtexe'

  The tag even in the name of the folder removes an error message (copied below). It is clearly caused by the tag, as if I do not use my app is based very well. The app Builder creates the name for good record so in this case "LEC_RT_V1.2.3.4" , but it fails to generate the file real rtexe. (the folder structure is completely empty)

  Is there a solution? It's very awkward and prone to manually rename the folder and files. More sound very conterintuitive I can follow the version in the app, same building can it auto increment, but I need to manually change the file names.

  Using LV 2014? I think that this has been fixed in LV 2015 (CAR 477278). A post-build step is probably the best solution for this.
