  I'm not too familiar with the support of the PC, but can follow the operational base.

  I had a problem with my windows vista machine.  Whenever I started, there was a poster on my screen batch file.  This was a company script provided departmental support of PC does not recognize.  It was as if the batch file has been stuck in a mode where it would display only instead of execution.  After a bit of back & comes with our IT supports people, they agreed to look into the problem.  They went under launch programs to ensure that batch files have been executed with the cmd program.  Now, it displays a MS-DOS window whenever I start.  I don't know why this is so.

  As my company IT Department is unable to help, I hope someone can give me some advice.

  Is there a place to check to find out WHY this dos window appears every time and how I could fix this situation.  I can't that hope that corporate batch files are run correctly.

  I suggest you to put the computer in aclean boot state .

  Hello all and thanks in advance! I am currently working on a set of scripts that will work in tandem, and I got everything settled except this little AppleScript. It is essentially supposed to rename all the files in a given location at just the last two "words" in a folder (which are essentially the UID) and I used it several times in the past with success, but now that I have removed the guests 'choose folder' and instead of giving a specific path, I ran into the question after question. Here is my script up to now:

  Tell application "Finder".

  Repeat with this_folder in "Macintosh HD:Users:Server:Desktop:Test"

  name of the value folder_name this_folder

  Tell me to define the word - folder_name 2 contract

  I thought it was a problem with the path at first, so I commented on the remaining elements of and had no problems from there. As I said, this script worked well when there was a prompt "choose a folder '; the only change that has been made is the reference to the file prompt. Thank you once again.

  By setting the time step to Thred One Only you tell others taken to just run the code once (i.e., as if the time step did not exist for other loops).  So why they go out the closure on the first iteration and imperatively which was the "thread" will end out of the loop.

• Several problems with batch controller - skip files, lost watermarks etc.

  I record the action exactly how I want: edition, placing watermarks (incorporated place) by putting them where I want that they re-sizing, save as (with details of jpg), etc. before I stop recording. When I do the batch automate with this action, the watermark is placed almost completely out of the picture, it will increase from 1 to 10 file (files skip 2-9), it worked well on a previous batch with a similar action to the folder. Nothing works correctly for this one. Help?

• Problems with batch

  I'm running into major problems, because none of my having previously worked batch actions now work.

  I just got by working on a previous number to get the "cannot open a file because of a program error', which I tracked down to a corrupt police. Troubleshooting which I had Photoshop remove preferences on startup and now I feel a lot for questions as follows:

  Error: The command 'Culture' is not currently available. (- 25920)

  If I run the action manually by clicking on play on the pallet button actions it will run. If I run it in a batch I get errors.

  No idea how to solve this would be much appreciated!

  OK, the question was entirely due to my selection of the Override Action "Open" Commands checkbox.

  I work on one - A300-1MO with win 7 ultimate 32 bit

  In the last few days (since I installed the Bluetooth driver but I don't think that it's important), sound card and the speakers of the laptop, go to be dumb to be active, sometimes in large volume.

  It bothers me a lot because my computer is noises while I'm in classes (from apps running\web sites etc.). I've almost been hunted class several times because of this.

  I tried the sound card on the console of windows and the application of the sound card of inhibition, it doesn't help.

  Have you tried to reinstall / update the sound card driver?
  I think that this should be the first step you should try.

  The laptop uses a Realtek audio chip.
  Visit the Realtek page to get the latest Realtek audio driver.
  Remove the old audio driver installed and after reboot new try the audio downloaded Realtek driver.

• Trouble with batch renaming

  I produce a directory where I get pictures of another photographer.  The people in the pictures (recruits) are identified by a number of "evidence", that were associated with their name in the data file.  This number of evidence is part of the name of the file of their photo, but only a PART of the file name.  I need to rename the files to contain ONLY the number of evidence.  For example;

  Name - Joe Smith

  Evidence number - 612017

  His image has a filename of 00612017-265.

  I learned that it cannot be done in Lightroom, but that bridge has a tool to replace the string.  I was able to use it to remove the 00 initial which is located at the beginning of each file name.  However, the 3 last numbers change for each file and I can't understand how to remove the and the hyphen ' - '.  Even if I have to run in 2 batches, I'm fine doing that.  It's so manually, it is a nightmare to hundreds of different images each week.

  Download and install the script to replace rename from here: -.

  Select all the documents that you want to rename

  Run the script...
  Tools - File Renamer

  To remove the 00 early files
  Enter ^ 00 in replace it on the ground and do not fill the field "with" and click ok
  This should remove the zeros

  To remove the - and last three numbers to select all the documents again
  \D{3}$ sign - in the field replace, do not fill the field "with" and click ok

  Job done.

  Just do a test on a couple first to make sure that everything is fine!

  3 - PC Health Monitor 1.5.6.64 v & v 1.6.0.64 the message "not support".
  4 - TV Tuner v 2.3.3.31 nothing happens.

  Have you installed the Toshiba value added Package?

  You need the correct PVAT designed for the Qosmio F60 and Win7 64-bit. Take a look at the Toshiba site (section support/drivers).

  I have problems with my new Portege R700 with fingerprint reader to log on Win 7 acount.

  I have digital fingerprints installation to the system via the Toshiba fingerprint utility. Several times I can wake up the Portege of sleep or turn it on, fingerprints from the BIOS is accepted, after which appears logon screen in Win7 and in some cases, I'm able to connect automatically to this account. In some cases just system is pending, it is not possible to login with the password. I restart phone, sometimes more than once.

  You can help someone? I have already several times removed, Setup still traces of fingers, I updated the utility and the new driver fingerprint - nothing does not.

  I do the new install of win7 ultimate x 64.

  Now when I try to reboot (restart, not stop), the system is down, check the bios and... black screen.

  System won't start.

  When I shut down the system and start now - everything is ok.

  The system is normal startup.

  I upgraded the bios (from 1.04 to 1.55), all the system updates, read internet half and I have no idea.

  Can someone help me?

  I was download and install EasyBCD.

  Then I BCD deployment-> install Win7 MBR bootloader-> write MBR

  After computer restart to see the problem with start, but after repair (from DVD instalation) everything works ok.

  1. Please, do a right-click on the bridge on the desktop icon and select "Run as Administrator".
  2. If this does not help, reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

  Steps: -.

  Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

  Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.
