Bridge stops responding to the Wacom stylus clicks in Windows 8

When I use Adobe Bridge with the pen Wacom (Intuos 5) work first one or two clicks but then the program stops responding any pen clicks until I move the mouse or press the touchpad, and then all of the clicks on which are read at the same time. This problem appeared with Bridge CS5. So, I upgraded to CS6 hoping he would go, but he didn't. Now, I downloaded the new version of the CC of the bridge and it does the same thing. The pen works irregularly in other Adobe programs like this but the anomaly is even more evident and occurs regularly in bridge. All Microsoft programs (Office 2010, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Windows 8 itself) work fine with the Wacom pen.

I searched the Adobe and Wacom support forums and this problem does not seem to have an impact on everyone. Although, I found these two posts by people with similar problems:

I talked to Wacom tech support and tried all the troubleshooting steps they might think, including going back to earlier versions of the Intuos driver. They have released a new driver Windows 8 yesterday (6.36) but it did not solve my problem.

Since I'm using a Logitech mouse, I tried the update and completely uninstall the Logitech drivers back to earlier versions, but the problem has not disappeared. I also uninstalled, cleaned the parameters and reinstalled Adobe applications several times without any change.

This morning I tried to disable all non-Microsoft services and all non-essential programs start on reboot, but it made no difference.

A clue, I noticed which may help the Adobe engineers to understand this mystery, is that when I click on the small triangles to extend the metadata in the Panel (with my first click Pen because it is the only one that records) they will highlight but not turn and the Panel never develops (see photos below). It is a unique behavior, which I can't reproduce with my mouse. If someone can identify what would make the triangles react in this way, we could be on what message the program is when I click with the pen.

After the mouse, click on metadata Camera Raw triangle

For me the problem has not returned since I turned on Windows 8 "keep" in the Panel "Pen and Touch. Latest Wacom drivers have a checkbox 'Use Windows Ink' which seems to do the same thing (and replaces Windows settings that a "hold" on by default.)

So what I suggest try, BrightWork, turns 'press and hold' Windows 8 (Control Panel / settings of the Tablet PC / Goto Pen and Touch / Pen Actions / press and hold /Settings / activate) and off in Wacom driver (uncheck "Use Windows Ink" under the pen of mapping).

    HP d530 CMT stops responding during the installation phase. With the restoration of original hp more cd drive and operating system came with the computer, but it stops on the phase of installation at 35 minutes. Did the restore process several times with the same results. How return the computer to its original configuration?

    Hello:

    The keyboard should not matter.

    You can open the case and remove the plug on the second CD player.

    If the PC Restore, closed right down and plug the power cable back in the secondary CD and XP must discover and install it.

    If you live in the United States, you can buy another game for $10 for your PC recovery discs if they are still available, by contacting CV at 1-800-334-5144.

    Simply provide the model # and serial number.

    Otherwise, you will need to install XP Pro (I guess that's what the license is for) with an XP Pro OEM installation disc and use the product key on your PC to activate it.

    You may not use any other type of installation disk to use the product key that is on the PC.

    Hi George,.

    3rd party applications and malware are often cause for this. Have you tried the clean boot such as suggested above (that isolates the background application that could cause the problem)? Also try to run a full scan with your antivirus.

  • Features of Installation of Windows 7 software service stops responding when the system configuration

    I noticed that Windows 7 RTM (all versions, x 86 / x 64) has a bug on its features to Software Installation service which causes updates Windows hang during setup of the system (i.e. Windows is stuck on the message "preparing to configure Windows - do not turn off your computer"). M$ suggests to perform a repair with system restore or re - install the operating system from scratch, but is not an effective solution.

    Given that Microsoft has published 5 updates for setup of functionality of software on Vista, I wonder why they don't release a similar patch for Windows 7?

    I opened a support to report the problem incident, which probably occurs after installationreliability KB974431 update(Windows6 1 - KB974431 - x 64.msu).

    When Windows Update installing KB974431 update , the following error message appear when Windows configures updates after the system restarts and the installation of the update fails with error code ofC004F050 .
    Above the error due to the Windows operating system can not pass genuineWindows validation (WGA) . installation of KB974431 will fail if validation fails, or returns a status not valid or not genuine. Here is the procedure to fix it:

    1. click on Start .
    2. in the run box, type cmd and press ENTER.
    3. you will see the black command prompt window.
    4. enter sfc/scannow
    5. If this disable the grace period, it is reset using this code: slmgr /rearm
    6. restart your computer.

  • My keyboard stopped responding during the installation of Windows XP.

    Reinstall windows xp - keyboard unresponsive

    I'm reinstalling XP from an official CD after reformatting the HD.  On the Welcome to Setup screen, where I need to press ENTER to set up XP, nothing on the keyboard gets a response (type F3, R).  It's as if the machine has ceased to recognize the USB keyboard, even if it worked in the previous steps.

    I need to find a different type of keyboard?  Thank you.

    Check the back of your computer and search for PS/2 (round) connectors to your mouse and your keyboard.  Older computers used these PS/2 connectors, as the main means to connect to the keyboard.  USB drivers for USB devices (including the keyboard and mouse) were not in the BIOS and USB could not be used until Windows provided drivers for these connections.  You can borrow a PS/2 keyboard, until you download Windows loaded, or you can buy a small adapter that will plug into the PS/2 computer connector so you can connect your USB keyboard to the other end.  Once Windows loaded, you can return to your keyboard and USB mouse.

  • MG6320 Scanner Stopped Working - "Set the PC to start scanning ' WINDOWS 8.1

    I had this problem when I was on Windows 7 and it is solved by what Ramona suggested:

    "The Canon IJ Network Scanner selector EX must be running on your computer to scan using the control panel of the printer.  To start the program in the Start Menu on your computer, select all programs, then commercial of Canon IJ Network Scanner selector EX (folder), then IJ Network Scanner selector EX (program).  Once launched, the program appears in the notification area of the taskbar. "

    Now I have a new computer with Windows 8.1 and can not find ' all programs and utilities of Canon, etc.»

    Can someone please?  I asked this question at the end of my other post, and he had 39 points of view, but not answers.

    Thanks to all those who can help you.

    Hi GlassHalfFull,

    Launch the IJ Network Scanner selector Windows 8.1 EX, the Windows start screen, you can just start typing 'IJ' to bring up the window of research, then in the section drop-down menu above the text field, select 'Everywhere' and continue typing "Network Scanner selector EX" until you see the program appears as an option to click on.  Once you click on "IJ Network Scanner selector EX", it must launch the program.

    Another method, you can use would be to go to the Windows start screen, then to the bottom of the window under the tiles, you should see an arrow down in a circle.  Click on the arrow, then go and find the Canon utility section and click the icon for the IJ Network Scanner selector E.G.

    I hope this helps!

  • Stop playback of the sound on clicking a button?

    Hello

    I found this code to play sounds:

    1. myButton_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, buttonIsClicked);
    2. function buttonIsClicked(event:Event):void
    3. {
    4. var sndcontext:SoundLoaderContext = new SoundLoaderContext (4000);
    5. var snd:Sound = new Sound (new URLRequest ("http://www.yourdomain.com/yoursound.mp3"), sndcontext);
    6. var sndchannel:SoundChannel = snd.play (0,1000);
    7. sndchannel.soundTransform = new SoundTransform (0.2, 1);
    8. }

    I had this works well, but I was wondering how to program a function to another button to stop to stop playing this sound?  I tried a function with snd.stop (); but this seems to be incorrect.

    Thanks for your help guys.

    Shaun.

    Ah. Create a new actionscript file and place the script in there. Then name the file PlaySound.as. Instead of biz by package. Flashscript.Media eliminate biz. Flashscript.Media. now that the file in the same place as your fla file and try again.

  • Recording of data every hour, labview stops responding when the program stopped

    Hello. I'm doing a labview program to read the data and recording to a PDM file every hour for as long as it runs. First of all, I wanted to test it on every 15 minutes to work the bugs how. I made the attached VI and simulated data. It works fine but when I press the stop button to stop the program, the mouse cursor becomes the "wait cursor" and it remains like that until the program says "(ne répond pas) ' and then it crashes." Needless to say that the data is not recorded or corrupt. Do not do this with shorter time intervals (say, record data every 15 seconds). Is the long time period why its happening? Is there a better way to address the issue? Thank you!

  • Remote PC stops responding when the lines are added to a multiline textbox

    Hello

    When connected two RDP connections and multiline textbox is visible and always up-to-date (e.g. time real record on the screen), then all other processes and threads are suspended on the remote PC. For example, the task manage does not refresh, the clock stops, if you have a few applications running on this PC Server/services so their customers will get the writing/connect timeout errors, etc.

    to reproduce this problem:

    1. create a test application simulating recording in real time on the screen. For example, create a new GUI application (for example, in visual basic, delphi, etc.), several (for example six) textbox, control and set multiline = true (or use TMemo components in delphi), add the button and code to add rows in a loop (for example 200 iterations) these textbox/TMemo controls (see the sample code below). Build the executable

    2. have three PC of loan. The first connect to second via RDP and from there linking to third parties via a second RDP connection. Third PC start test application, that you created in step 1. While the lines are added to the multiline/TMemo text box, try to do something with this PC, for example open the Task Manager, check how it is refreshing, open clock and note how seconds are proliferating, try to connect to some services from another PC (shared disk for example, ftp, web, etc.) and see how to answer they are

    Windows 2000 seems to be ok, xp, 7, Server 2003/2008 have some problems

    is there something that we could do to make the third-party application with real-time logging to the multiline/TMemo text box does not slow down or suspend our services that are running on the same PC, when someone connect via RDP? also, it would be great if microsoft could fix this problem

    example code:

    For i As Integer = 1 to 200
    Dim s As String = «»
    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox1.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox2.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox3.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox4.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox6.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)
    Next I

    var
    i: Integer;
    s:string;
    Start
    for i: = 1 to 200 start
    s:='';
    While length<20 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo1.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<40 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo2.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<60 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo3.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<80 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">

  • Explorer.exe has stopped responding during the slide show.

    I am not sure what happened, but I was downloading of images for a slideshow and I didn't notice that my laptop has been restarted due to an update. I thought it would be to find until I started to run into an error with explorer.exe. When I go in the folder of the situation to show them as a slideshow of the pictures, the screen goes black, as it is supposed to and then crashes. From there on, I get a notification that explorer.exe has stopped working. Do you think the problem is a corrupted image file should I remove? It doesn't bother me if I have to because I know where to find them again.

    Hi WyldFyre254,

    I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Safe mode is useful for troubleshooting problems with programs and drivers that might not start correctly or may prevent Windows from starting correctly.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    If the problem persists in safe mode run clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

    Step 2: Recreate the slideshow and check that it works very well.
