BrowserLab incredibly slow operation

Anyone else having this problem?

Using the add-on Adobe BrowserLab Firebug, clicking on 'Local Source overview' page I want to see in BrowserLab. BrowserLab launches, takes 3-4 minutes to load the selected browser. When it is finally loaded, clicking on anything else on the page (as if we were trying to change browser, see 2-up or the onion skin) will take 1-2 minutes for an answer on this point, I clicked on (for example I click on a drop down menu, it seems not really for a few minutes.)

I tried to clear the cache, restart FF, then by restarting my computer.

I use FF 4.0.1 with Firebug on Mac OS X 10.6.7 v1.7.1.

I really want to like BrowserLab, but it's just slow too much that I can actually use it to get anything done!

Any solution to this?

So, to close on the forums...

We contacted Heather and worked through these two questions.

  1. After debugging for a bit, we discovered that, after the uninstall/reinstall Firefox, the BrowserLab for Firebug extension was unable to read the local configuration files for some reason any. Preventing the extension of its local content download. We changed the approved swf Local permissions.
  2. Once that worked, we found that BrowserLab ran incredibly slowly in Firefox as she had described. We have it download and install the latest version of Flash Player and it starts working again quickly.

Heather, again, sorry for the questions you had and thank you for the opportunity to make things work for you. If you have a chance could mark this thread as a response?

Thank you

Mark

    Four days ago, that I've updated my system to El Capitan v10.11.6. At first, he seemed to be well-developed, but after about 12 hours, it started to become really slow - and I don't speak incredibly slow. Almost all of the clicks or typing a letter takes forever.

    I downloaded a free version of CleanMyMac, and it shows that I have to constantly only between 50 and 300 MB of RAM free. I also read that you should let Spotlight indexes all yout files, but it maintains at the end and starting over.

    This has happened a lot lately.

However, if I can download files attached to my iMac mail becomes so incredibly slow, even if I delete the email with the files. If I quit Mail and then restart the problem persists... Start Safe Mode removes the system caches that can help...

    Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

    After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

    To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

    Then try to download an attachment.

  • Firefox works incredibly slow (as in the window is barely functional, not anything related to connection speed) when I run some games on my computer.

    Hello

    Last month, I got a strange problem with my Firefox browser in certain situations. The question is only apparent when executing some 3D games (most often when I run Diablo III). Each time these games is loaded my Firefox browser works incredibly slow. This isn't a question of a connection problem or such, the loading speed is very good, but the actual clicks, bookmark clicks, entered keyboard etc take a few seconds to register.

    I tried Firefox running in failsafe mode which immediately makes the problem disappears. However, whenever I run it in normal mode the problem will be even if I disable all plugin and simple addon. I also tried to reinstall firefox and my addons and flash player times, the problem remains.

    For what it's worth, another browser, I installed is not the problem at all (despite the same some addons installed - I only have 3 of them).

    Someone has an idea what could be the problem? Is the failsafe mode inactivate the other thing the addons and plugins listed in the addon section?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi all

    I bought my macbook 13 "in 2010 and after 4-5 months of use it has started running very slowly. The ball was running constantly, apps were taking ages to start and they were usually crashing. My macbook was still under warranty so I took it on the apple support. They changed the hard drive and my macbook has been brought back to life.

    I realize I should have called for a new Macbook because a year later the problem reappears. My warranty has expired so I found the patience to be the only solution.

    Not to mention this assistance local Apple refused to replace the plastic surface that broke away from the bottom of the system case. The reason is that the serial number was not enough, they also need a receipt of a point association bought 5 years ago. In any case, the most important is my macbook to work properly.

    I would be very grateful to anyone who wants to help!

  • Computer pavilion laptop i7 incredibly slow

    Hi, I have a hp pavilion 2321ss g6 with a processor intel core i7. I had for about 2 years. It had not occurred to me to use this forum til now.

    Initially, he had run on win8, but he was almost inoperative (very slow) and I have upgraded to windows 10.

    As I installed the new computer system was incredibly slow and lazy. Opening a program, for example a browser may take more than a minute, making it unusable. Old computers are faster. I think all the updates on the system are made.

    Startup time is 300 seconds, and after that start it does not work well, on the contrary, it takes time to "warm up".

    What can I do?

    Thank you

    Lisa

  • The mail is incredibly slow since the update to El Capitan

    Hey,.

    I use Mac OS X El Capitan v. 10.11.1 on a MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz i7 with 16 GB of RAM. I'm 50 Mbit DSL online.

    I never had any problems with sending or receiving mail. But since I upgraded to El Capitan Mac Mail has gotten incredibly slow and almost unusable. It will take up to 10 minutes to load a simple text message or attachment of the small (less than 1 MB) image. I don't have these problems when downloading something from a Web site. Download a 3 MB file takes 1-2 seconds.

    Also sending emails is incredibly slow. It takes several minutes, also just for the mails in plain text.

    And then Mac Mail seems often to synchronize, even if there is no new messages. It displays "loading 10 of 32 messages" which is stuck and loads forever. And nothing will happen until I restart Mac Mail several times.

    I am managing 5 accounts IMAP with Mac Mail, which is more than usual but not an absurd number. In addition, I never had problems before. They are partly accounts Google App and partially Zoho.com.

    Apple: What can I do to recover usable e-mail software? I don't want to go, but I have to examine it if it takes 10 minutes for an attachment to load.

    Thank you

    That has solved it for me (found here on the forum):

    • Make a backup
    • Close mail
    • Copy the ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail folder to a different location (in case something goes wrong)
    • Delete the ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail folder
    • Restart the messaging

    You will need to reconfigure parts of the mail, but it is now much faster. Let's see if that is still true.

  • AZ-605 new incredibly slow

    I have new AZ-605-UR23 which is a really nice computer, but is incredibly slow.  I migrated to a more old Pentium 3 Windows XP set up that was lightning fast. I must say at the outset that my computer skills are minimal so feel free to correct any assumptions I could have done. My system came with windows installed 8.0 and I upgraded to 8.1.  I checked the Acer website after seeing an analysis of Belarc on my computer missed me 3 updates of pilot.  I downloaded and install in awhile.

    The problem, I ran in - I ran a few software - driverupdate.com [the site says it's as a Microsoft certified partner, so I guess it is reputible].  When I downloaded their software and ran it the result was that I have 13 drivers that are obsolete.  Looking for acer driver update site again there are only 3 updates [the ones I downloaded] 8.1.  When I looked for 8.0 updates the names of the pilots did not correspond to the specific series listed at Acer. some of the manufacturers [Intel and Realtek] were the same, but others [for example, liteon, wistron, NVIDIA] were not on my list.

    I called support and told to download and install all the drivers of 8.0 and my system would be fixed.  I kept stressing that none of the names was the same, but the response was the same.  New - I'm obviously not an expert, but I don't want to make a mistake and have to go back to something stupid.

    Thanks a lot for any help

    Yet once again, I want to thank everyone for their help!  My Acer has been lowered to 8.0 and I'm a happy camper.  I'm always implemented, but should be finished today.

    I just wanted to share something that can have an impact on the whole of the problem initially, I remind you all that I am not a techie and where what I say is incredibly stupid please don't laugh too hard.

    Yesterday I was checking pre-sets on 8.0 and discovered that MS patches are updated automatically.  I thought that was the case because he had some sort of update itself installed approximately 0300 Saturday morning.  In any case, earlier I had checked something on the Panel "information on the performance and tools" and generated a small report I printed "more details on my computer" which assessed my computer at a 9.9 3.9. There was a date on this report was dated June 13, 2013.  I bought the computer the first week of December and received mid-December.  I'm assuming that this date indicates when the sysytm was put in place and is "birthday" of the computer.

    This prompted me to check the line on the updated area that was something like update history.  History has shown that I was GONE 90 essential or important updates! When the computer has been unpacked and physically put in place, I think I remember that I was prompted to download 8.1 immediately before continuing the installation of things.  A hacker has helped me set up and started the update and returned the next day to finish the rest of the installation.

    Bottom line - 8.1 has been installed on a system lacking 90 updates to the previous version of a system, it was the upgrade.  An assumption on my part, is that the missing updates would have been necessary for the 8.1 install to be indeed installed.  I have to download/install updates 90 on the current system of 8.0; It seems to work even better was the case prior to the updates and it was working fine before.

    In fact, the only reason why I'm writing this is in the offchance I'm right and that was the problem, it can help someone else.  The solution proposed by the members of the forum was right on - wish I had not feared to do so and stopped what I was doing and just downgraded.  8.0 seems really easy and everything works fine.

    I've had my crackberry for a month now, and I love it.  But last week, it has become incredibly slow, sometimes sitting for 10 minutes at a time without me being able to do anything whatsoever, and I missed a few calls telephone too.  In fact, at the ceremony of my school, I had my friend put it in her purse, and when she brought out, it was frozen with the clock displaying the start time of rewards.

    I am extremely frustrated. Here is what I tried:

    Battery pull

    Clear the log

    Cleaner memory

    Close all possible applications

    Remove the media card

    Remove languages that I don't use.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    OK, so now back to your security settings and turn it off.

    There is really no need for Memory Cleaner use for most users, it does not increase any amount of memory and regularly uses single process time and causes the processor blasted animated clock.

  • Development in C/C++ is make incredibly slow PC

    Hello

    I'm having a hard life because of development of Applications C/C++ on Windows 7 64 bit. A month ago I tried working with my projects using OpenCV C/C++ with the Code::Blocks IDE libraries on my PC. I have added all the necessary libraries, headers, binary, etc. to my property sheet for the project (NOT IN VS, to Code::Blocks). After creating and running my application to test a few times. I get these questions:
    (1) exploring is incredibly slow: takes about 20 to 25 seconds to open a window
    (2) same thing happens with applications like the browser, Control Panel, System properties, etc.
    (3) the volume icon in taskbar comes almost 20 seconds after clicking.
    This is outrageous, I even installed on a Windows XP machine and it works like a magic. I turned the world-wide web inside to outside but no one is quite logical to give me a clear answer. I even spent the IDE to Visual C++ Express 2010 and rebuilt all my OpenCV libraries to adhere to Visual C++ 2010. However, nothing changes and even a simple C++ programming involving floating and whole number computation is now slow PC after a few generations and run. How is what is happening?
    I'm considers MSDN as my last stop before concluding that my PC is rubbish. I have an i5, cache L3, 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB HDD (80% free). • MouseOver and mouseout/mouseouthandler() way too slow. Incredibly slow.

    Mouse above and outside (especially out) is much too slow. Incredibly slow. Mouse on sometimes just not all. I tried to play with the frequency: 1, 5, 6, 10... but no change was visible.

    var frequency = 3;
    stage.enableMouseOver(frequency);
    this.myObject.addEventListener("mouseover", fl_MouseOverHandler.bind(this));
    function fl_MouseOverHandler()
    {
      this.myObject.gotoAndStop("over");
    }
    this.myObject.addEventListener("mouseout", fl_MouseOutHandler.bind(this));
    function fl_MouseOutHandler()
    {
        this.myObject.gotoAndStop("out");
    }

    It's because you have the frequency adjusted to only 3 ("var frequency = 3;"), which means that the position of the mouse is only checked 3 times per second.  Increase in the frequency should improve things.
