Browsers supported for 11.1.2.4

Recently, we have improved our version of the EMP to 11.1.2.4 and it seems to work very well in IE9 but not in Mozilla 43.02.

E.M.P. 11.1.2.2 worked perfectly in the two browsers. I am aware that IE11 is compatible with EMP 11.1.2.4, but I was wondering if users use Mozilla too?

For the simplified version, Google Chrome has worked also. I'm sure there must be documentation on the browser compatibility, but I did find the list so that any experience or help is appreicated.

Is the sound like a cache problem if it worked before and this works for some users, but not others, especially if you have just upgraded, depending on the settings in the browsers, I think that for some users they were not allowed to leave all caches.

If it is the opposite and occurs after clearing the cache, then perhaps it is the proxy, network or configuration-related, try the best from the web server locally with no caches or proxy of the browser set up and test.

  • No support for npapi plugin?

    Hi, we use software that is based on JAVA for our clients to access our services. As I read in some news, support for NPAPI plugins will end in the 64-bit version of firefox 41 (so java no longer be supported). This is only version 64-bit windows or Linux and Mac also being targeted? We need this information so that we can tell our customers that we always support the browsers.
    Thanks in advance

    Only the start of Firefox Win64 41,0 + version will have only whitelisted Flash Player 64-bit for now.

    64 bit versions of Mac OSX and Linux may continue to use other plugins compatible 64-bit in addition to Flash Player.

    That the Firefox 42.0 is the current target for Win64 version as was 41.0 previously. The Fx Win64 41.0 b # is based on the beta channel will be affected by the white list.

  • Add support for the new html tag

    Most browsers have support for the < object / > tag.

    I want to integrate a video player on my site to play .mkv videos, but I can't use most because him are based on flash, which can play only .flv & .f4v.

    That's why I go to the < object / > tag

    But, if I wanted to integrate a tag with the name of < mkvvideo / >, a simple plugin that is associated with this tag would be usable or Basic programming of the firefox browser which deals?

  • Official Firefox support for business

    Dear Sir.
    I work for an international company that develops the program of the web server and it must be aligned on all browsers. It is now declared compatible with IE and next will be Firefox. Since the Firefox help page, indicated that support is done by volunteers all over the world. It is superb! In any case, I would like to know if Firefox has a channel of official support for business specifically? (Like having response time or root cause date deadline)

    Thanks and regards,

    If you open the spreadsheet of certification that I pointed you to:

    and then go to the tab called 'Client', you will find information about the supported browsers.

  • Require the browser Plugin with XFA Support for Government Web Sites

    Most of the Government sites I need to use on a regular basis now publishes all their forms to PDF with XFA, a popular this time of year is the income tax.  This is reasonable, because there is no generally available to this end alternative file format.  However, Adobe provides is no longer a browser plugin Acrobat for Firefox or Chrome on Linux.  I cannot access these electronic forms.  I tried using the plug 9.5 Acrobat is no longer supported in, but it is broken in the latest version of Firefox (printing does not work).  There is no other plugin I can find that supports PDF with XFA forms.  How can I regain access to these forms.  When I try all I get a message telling me to install the plugin from Adobe Acrobat (nonexistent).

    My last word: I discovered Adobe have created a road map to get away from delivery of the XFA form where it is not supported.

    According to https://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/kb/xfa-forms-firefox-chrome.html

    "ES4 LiveCycle support for rendering in HTML5 XFA forms, such as forms can be opened in browsers that support HTML5, including those running on mobile devices like the iPad. The rendering of the HTML5 forms maintains available to the form design and supports most logical form (for example, JavaScript, form calc and form validations) incorporated in the XFA form template. In this way, your technology investments in XFA forms are easily carried over to devices where the functioning of the Adobe Reader plugin is not possible. »

    If the creators of XFA forms should be knowing this.

  • Adobe PDF Reader has support for broadcast all rendered document content in a browser?

    Adobe PDF Reader has support for broadcast all rendered document content in a browser? I have to make the document PDF in browsers using the streaming so that the user can see the first pages, while the rest of the pages in the document is loading in the background. Could someone please confirm if this capability of streaming is supported by Adbobe Reader?

    I tried below approach and noticed that the document is not rendered in IE at all (I see a blank page). However, in Chrome, I see the rendering of the document, but the content is not rendered correctly (I mean that some of the content is rendered. In addition, images and tables not is not made properly).

    Code snippet:

    =========

    Response.ClearHeaders ();

    Response.ClearContent;

    Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";

    Response.AddHeader ("content-Transfer-Encoding", "binary");

    Response.AddHeader ("Content-Disposition", "inline; exit = filename"+".pdf");

    Response.AddHeader ("Pragma", "no-cache, no-store");

    Response.AddHeader ("Content-Length", stream. Length.ToString ());

    Response.BufferOutput = false;

    const int bufferLen = 2048;

    ubyte [] buffer = new byte [bufferLen];

    int count = 0;

    While ((count = stream. Read (buffer, 0, bufferLen)) > 0)

    {

    Response.BinaryWrite (buffer);

    }

    Response.End)

    Adobe Reader has very sophisticated support for broadcast in a browser, but using this code, you have disabled.

    Your code offers you the PDF file in one piece - Adobe Reader has no choice other than to accept the piece in the order in which send you it.

    However, if you use a PDF by http URL, and it is optimized for fast web view and it is displayed in the browser window, and the agent viewing is Adobe Reader (usually is not the case with Chrome), then it will launch several requests to the server for the beaches of bytes according to the needs.

    It is theoretically possible for a script to support this, but the script must do a range support full http/1.1 byte, supporting several repeated calls. It's complicated enough that I have ever seen.

    If you can redirect to a URL, it will get done.

  • support for the iPhone/iPod Touch browser

    Probably not the right place to post but...

    I get a pop up in Safari on iPod Touch saying I have an unsupported browser. IE 7, Firefox, etc. are supported. The project is using components of the ADF.

    Web pages work in Google Chrome.

    Where can I adjust / add the browser target in JDev/WebLogic?

    Hello

    Support for iPhone/iPod Touch Safari is ADF Mobile, which, as Shay has pointed out, requires the use of the library of the Trinity. A notice to ADF Mobile project may contain no reference to ADF Faces components. The General steps for creating an application the ADF Mobile is as follows:

    1. define your model as usual, or simply re - project use the same template project or your application as your ADF Faces app.
    2. create a new project - select a generic project. When you are prompted for the technology of the project, simply select "Mobile". This would bring about the necessary libraries for ADF Mobile, but nothing else.
    3. create the page stream and views as you would for any JSF application. You can use any Trinidad component available in the component palette.

    The tutorial for creating a simple mobile application is at: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/cuecards/adf_set_51/ccset51_ALL.html

    The short demo for creating a mobile application is at: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/viewlets/viewlet.html

    For ADF Developers Guide Mobile also contains useful information, which is located in the documentation section of the JDeveloper/ADF.

    Finally, there is a sample application that contains a number of optimizations for smartphone browsers, including specific optimizations for the iPhone. You can download the example file to the: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/wireless/adfm_new.zip. This sample application is designed to work with the Fusion order demo. You can try to follow the tutorial above and then use this project as a sample for you improve app.

    In moving from XP to Windows 7, I opted for Thunderbird as a mail client in order to circumvent hyper intrusive Windows Live Mail to Microsoft (I used Outlook Express for years).

    I have a very complicated E-mail structure, and it took me weeks (seriously) to learn how to reproduce it in TBird. Now, I try to customize TBird more, but none of the TBird articles/forum Q & A / searches on Google to ask my questions.

    There is no support direct tech TBird, and I'm almost ready to leave for good. However - a last effort: where can I find detailed, systematic support for the advanced Thunderbird related topics?
