Browsing podcasts?

for the last two weeks, no matter what podcast that I listen to by using the application of podcast apple plays faster and the people speak, as they are on helium. Anyone else having this problem? I am on iOS 9.2 on an iPhone 6 more

Hey there Jovi guitarist.

I understand that you have a problem with your Podcast application. Looks like you have set the playback speed of your podcasts inadvertently. You can find more information on how to address this in the following article:

  • Is it possible to load podcasts (using podcasts app) on the iPhone without the need to have these load on iTunes on Mac at the same time?

I agree, download and listen to podcasts on my iPhone (6 s 9.3.4).) When I sync with my Mac (2008 Macbook OS Lion) it also syncs podcasts (obviously) but it takes too much space on my Mac, and I never listen to the podcasts on the Mac. When I uncheck the sync option of podcasts in iTunes (12.2.2.25), he said that it will remove all the podcasts on the iPhone too, that I don't want. Is it possible to download podcasts over the phone without also their sync iTunes as well?

    Thank you

The Podcast app works using the connection of the iPhone and can sync no read using iCloud. Can simply browse podcasts and download them directly from the phone.

  • Arrested podcast download recent episodes - 502 errors

I host my podcast using Blogger with files stored on Google Reader, and an RSS feed by Feedburner.

    Here is my feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhatHappending

I posted the last 29 episodes without any problem, but last night when I went to post episode 30, it wouldn't work. The episodes still appear in iTunes, but not download. Usually, when I click on 'Play now' on the feedburner feed, I'm presented with this web page:

I found that if I ping the stream, it will allow me to play AN episode once, but then he returned to obtain this number. It seems that the most recent 5-6 episodes have this problem. But until I was going to post my most recent episode, the other episodes have been working quite well. I have absolutely no idea of what's going on! Help, please!

Also, when I ran Feed Validator, I got these results. I don't know whether or not it is the origin of the problem:

    http://www.Feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?URL=http%3A%2f%2ffeeds.feedburner.com%2fW hatHappending #l2

It has nothing to do with the power supply; the problem is Google Reader. Check some of the media in a product browser files either an error with Error 502 ('bad gateway') page, or if you try the real media file URL rather that the proxy, it appears in the browser but do not load or play.

Frankly, if you Google Drive working in the past I'm surprised - it usually causes nothing but boredom and a large number of people have complained that they couldn't make it work. In the meantime, your only options are to contact the Google Support and complain to them, or give it up and find a more reliable place to host your multimedia files.

  • Question of the work of podcast

I get this message when I try to validate my podcast, "Podcast work must be understood from 1400 x 1400 to 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in the RGB color space and hosted on a server that allows HTTP HEAD requests."

    My RSS feed is

    ser monsite_action & https://www.sermonsonline.com/index.php?sermonsite_custid=easternlandmarkmbc = view_feed & sermonsite_selection = xml

    My image url is

I validate the site accepts head prays and an image editor to make sure that it is superior to 1400 (1500) to be exact. The same picture appears correctly in the checkout page. I'm at a loss as to what is wrong. Any suggestions?

The URL in your "tag" is

    http://Nebula.wsimg.com/e2a42e8640af6058030ddcaf0d7b83f9?AccessKeyId=9070F9BB39E DAE582551 & amp; available = 0 & amp; alloworigin = 1

When accessed in a browser, that it forces a download of the image instead of display, which will not; and the image itself once downloaded, 488 x 488px. You should try to host your image in a server box where it can be reached directly, do not use the script to the current URL, but in all cases you should test in a browser and make sure that it displays. Of course, the size is also a problem, you will need the address.

  • Problems to submit again podcast

I try to present a new podcast.  Through iTunes, I click on submit a Podcast.  It redirects me to podcastsconnect.apple.com in a browser.  I log in there with my Apple ID.  After I connect, the site never fully charge and continues to cool off, making it unusable.  I tried multiple browsers and platforms.  A call for assistance from Apple didn't get me anywhere.  Anyone else see this problem?  I am in the right place to submit a new podcast?

    Thank you!

The loading of the site OK for me on a Mac. You are in the right place to submit a podcast, but it is difficult to see what the problem is. The first thing to do is to try to clear the cache of your browser; did you try it on a Mac? -There is no obvious reason why Windows has to be a problem, but it is worth trying.

Otherwise, you must contact the Support of Podcasts rather than the usual route of Apple Support. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • Blubrry podcast not to validate

I have a flow in Wordpress help Blubrry podcast, but I can't seem to validate through iTunes.

    Here is the power http://blogs.mtroyal.ca/teachingstrides/feed/podcast/

The audio plays fine in Wordpress, the image is the right size and I made are without spaces in the file names.

    Any help would be appreciated!

The problem is not with food but in the download of multimedia file of your top of the episode. Subscription in the iTunes application works OK, and if you enter the URL of the media file in a browser it plays OK, but after a slight delay.

However, there is a redirect 302 in place, leading to the same URL, but with https (secure connection) at the beginning instead of http. In addition, under test in the Terminal it displayed the content-type that results in text/html:

    curl - I - r 200-300 http://wwwacad.mtroyal.ca/adc/teachingstrides/promo_for_launch.mp3

    HTTP/1.1 302 found

    Date: Thu, June 30, 2016 17:12:48 GMT

    Server: Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat)

    Location: https://wwwacad.mtroyal.ca/adc/teachingstrides/promo_for_launch.mp3

    Content-Type: text/html; charset = iso-8859-1

the 302 redirects may cause problems with some clients - please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_302 - and it is very likely that the store is down, particularly given that the redirect does not work as expected in the Terminal. In addition, the use of https can be discouraged. I suggest to put the actual file at the original URL without any redirection.

  • Podcast App Software will not update

I have a weird dilemma I've not seen before. My Podcast Apple app shows in iTunes on my Mac as being an available update. When I click on update, I get an error message and the app not updated. I have never seen it before. Has anyone else had this experience? Can anyone offer an explanation or suggestion?

The wording of the error message means for me that I can only update the app via my iOS device, which is very strange. In addition, the app in my iOS device does not show as having a update available...

Browse the topics in the last two hours. There are several on the topic, including the explanation and the solution (ignore).

  • Upgrade 'Podcasts' and 'find friends '.

I've recently updated to iTunes 12.6.1.4 and now see 'Podcasts' and 'Find My Friends' (Apple apps) applications to be updated.  When you use "Update all Apps" I get a message on each of these 2 apps that they can only be updated via iOS and open the app store on my iOS device.

I browsed and searched and could not find an application in the app store. I searched by the name of the person and "Apple."

How to upgrade to these 2 apps?  All others updated just fine, never had this problem before.  I'm in the USA using the USA app store.

    Thank you!!

As the replyer in other post said... ignore it, it will probably disappear or do 'something' in the future

You can remove it by clicking on the iTunes icon. I did not, waiting to see what he's doing or going to do anything in the future.

I read on MacRumors stock apps can be deleted in iOS 10, but also that these applications are showing up in the iTunes Store

"Apps are now available as stand-alone downloads on the App Store, which means that Apple may release updates for each independent application of the iOS updates."

  • Scrollingin view right column of Podcast

    Hello

I don't know if this problem has been described yet, so sorry if it has already.

I run 10 64-bit Windows and it is about iTunes 12.4.0.119.

When a device is connected and I have browse it by clicking on a symbol in the upper left, under the menus, then select "Podcast", we see 2 columns. The first podcast list and the second, on the right, has the episodes of each podcast. I have a long list of podcast, in which I am subscribed. When I scroll the list of podcast, done right also column scrolls, but it should not! I have to scroll up to see the content of the selected podcast.

Y at - it way around this or do I just wait for the next update, hoping that this problem is solved? Other users are also affected by the same behavior?

    Hi moezbali,

    Welcome to Apple Support communities.

As I understand it, iTunes is not scroll as expected when you review podcasts with the application on your PC. Although the article below is not specific scrolling problem that you described, she gives a lot of good troubleshooting tips that can help you isolate and probably solve the problem.

  • The food does not contain an image valid podcast.

    Hello

I asked this question before and the control point was that the image is in https. We addressed it now and the image is http, but I always get the error the food does not contain an image valid podcast. Podcast images must be at least 1400 x 1400 pixels.

Flow validates correctly as well, although when tested in iTunes, the episode does not show.

Here is my feed - http://feeds.feedburner.com/accenture/stagemanual

    Thanks in advance.

I checked in the Podcasts connect and the error is not with the image, but it complains that it cannot download episodes of your EDI. This is because the URL of your media file is

    http://link.videoplatform.limelight.com/Media/?Mediaid=01bc098836b64009915f2aa89 00aa4ab & amp; width = 480 & amp; height = 321 & amp; playerForm = player

It is a Flash drive. You can't use a player incorporated - you must provide a direct link to the media file. and it's not Flash. For video, it must be .m4v, .mov or .mp4. The file should play in a browser when you enter the URL, not force a download or appear in a player.

  • Podcast error message: episode is temporarily unavailable

Episode of the podcast this week, we published (# 039 Barry Glassman |) Starting a business Culture) may 1, six hours later the title of the episode and the description will appear in iTunes; However, when users try to play the track that they receive the message "not available episode episode is temporarily unavailable to"Grow my income business Cast". The audio file plays very well since his cloud drive, as you can see here: http://www.ianaltman.com/podcast/barry-glassman-creating-company-culture/ generally in the 7 months when we published our podcasts, they appear within minutes in iTunes without any problems.  Is there a known problem causing today our most recent episode do not play in iTunes?

There is a constant problem in Soundcloud and you have fallen on it, in common with a number of other posters. The URL of the media file from your top of the page of the episode is

    http://feeds.soundcloud.com/stream/261910286-Ian-Altman-039-Barry-Glassman-creat ing-company - culture.mp3

This redirects to http://feeds-tmp.soundcloud.com/stream/261910286-ian-altman-039-barry-glassman-c company RRSP - culture.mp3

When you enter the URL in a browser, others have seen an error message saying 403 Forbidden: request prohibited by administrative rules but you get nothing at all - maybe a change since yesterday. It's something that only Soundcloud can fix. Their status blog says there is a problem with the RSS, although with the audio file rather than the power supply is probably all part of the same problem.

  • iTunes cannot download episodes of my podcast feed

I'm working on obtaining the sermons of our Church on iTunes. We have a WordPress site and I installed the Podcasting plugin seriously Simple (SSP). The food that gave me of PHC is http://wlcconline.com/feed/podcast. It will not be validated on Podcast Connect. I get a message that says that he "cannot download episodes from your workflow." He sees our album and lists the episodes, but cannot download them.

I also tried to create a feed in Feedburner - http://feeds.feedburner.com/WithoutLimitsChristianCenterChurchesNewBernNc but got the same results. Our audio files are hosted through GoDaddy, not sure if this is a problem? Here is a picture of my settings in PHC. I'm not at all experienced in this area, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the URL given for your media top of page file

    http://wlcconline.com/Podcast-Download/1135/the-pursuit-of-success-in-life-part-3.MP3

This produces a "File not found" error and redirects to

    http://wlcconline.com/images/uploads/sermons/SIL3.mp338058190audio/MPEG

which is a web page that contains built-in readers. You should always check your Media URL file by entering it in a browser: should play directly in the browser, not in any kind of built-in player and it should also not force a download.

  • Make iPhone iPod for podcasts to imitate

I have been using an iPod touch to listen to podcasts for years and really how he manages. I would like to have the Setup on my iPhone to mimic what I could do on the iPod, essentially ignoring all WiFi and cellular capabilities of the iPhone.

Specifically, I want to do all my download on my laptop via iTunes and use iTunes to decide what future episodes to my iPhone. (I have a large library of old podcasts on the computer and, occasionally, as mark as unread and bringing over the device to get back at them and I also like to manage my substantial table of subscriptions via a big screen and keyboard).

I want the phone application to show me that my episodes recorded and specify which are read, unplayed. Is it possible to adjust the parameters of the iPhone app to make this happen? Or am I condemned to manage my podcasts on the phone now?

I doubt that you will be able to do through the app of Podcasts Caveat: I dropped the synchronization of podcast (a podcast) files between my computer and the iPhone for years because it does just simply no more; Maybe it is improved now, even if I doubt. What you want is not possible and it's always what I do, but it's a heck of a lot more complicated than seven or eight years ago.

What I do: on the computer, change all downloaded podcasts Media type = audio book or music. (Select a file, command - I to get information, select Options, and then in the Media like audio book or music menu.) Note: these podcasts will download then again - I just mark as played the second time.

If you have files like music or audio books, you can sort them into playlist, smart or dumb, and then sync them to your iPhone.

If you change the media type of music: playlists behave pretty predictably, but you lose things like jump of 15 seconds. The times-podcasts-now-music will play music on your iPhone through the app. It can also make things weird if you use Apple music and iCloud music library or whatever it is called. (This problem is one of the reasons I don't use music to Apple.) If you have playlists of music based on 'media type = music', you will also have problems.

If you change the media type of audio books: you keep the memory-jump function, so that's good, but the times-podcasts-now-audio books (in general) will not play through music - instead, they'll be in the iBooks app for the iPhone by default, and that leads to a series of problems. Playlists that you set in iTunes will determine what you can synchronize, BUT these playlists do not actually appear in the iBooks app. Instead, you will see just all different content organized by title or author, or other selected criteria. In addition, the game counts become totally foires, at least in my experience. For example, I often 10 unplayed episodes of "things you should know" synced to my iPhone and if I use the app for audio books to play only the seventh of these episodes, then #1 à #7 seem to all get marked as being played (and often marked as played twice, who knows why).

What I use instead: Browser Audiobook, an application designed by a person who is active in this forum. It is not the prettiest of apps, but it keeps the playlists and unlike in iBooks, in audio book browser you can see playlists. I don't think he can play consecutive episodes - just one, and then you must select a different episode. It works much better than the iBooks to play app sync playlists files short audiobook (originally podcast), and he manages the counties of predictable game.

    So my workflow:

    1. Podcasts that I listen to and then delete (new, for example): I use covered to subscribe to these on my iPhone. Now I avoid Podcasts of Apple app and my life is better for it.
    2. Podcasts I want to keep: I subscribe to these on my computer (and all the options that even alluded to the synchronization are disabled). Manual update only. Every day I 'Refresh' and download and change the type of media for each group of audio books. Then I refresh it once again, the same podcasts download it again, and I mark these additional files as played.
    3. Every day I have manually sync my iPhone with my computer, and copy the times-podcasts-now-audio books. (Of course, happens if my photo library is cooperating so far here, but it is another matter.)

It's the craft on hack on hack, and it seems that each update IOS, Apple adds another complication.

    Good luck!

  • How long until the request of my podcast?

I have applied my podcast for December 22, 2015, received the confirmation email, but have not yet been approved. How can I track and check the status? Of what I've read it should not delay this. The feed URL is http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:153802921 / sounds.rss

There is no fixed time - two weeks is pretty typical, but it may be longer, it depends on how busy they are.

However, your feed is likely to be rejected. When you enter the URL of your media file in a browser, it downloads rather than play in the browser as it should. This means that although he works in the iTunes application, the store can not play within its own page.

You must configure each file does not download. eiznem has posted the process:

    https://discussions.Apple.com/message/26564459#26564459

You should solve the problem as soon as possible hoping to do it before they come round to the check.
