• Radial gradient brush and adjustment does not

  Thanks in advance to anyone who knows how to solve this problem.

  I'm unable to create new effects of radial gradient brush or setting. I first experienced this issue to the point 3.6 of Lightroom, but it is always persistent in LR 6 on my Windows 7 PC.

  I just changed a picture of the normal characteristics (JPG, 4128 x 2322 px turned on a laptop Samsung Galaxy S4) and I had asked a color gradient that I wanted to get back to no color and leave the other settings of development. If there is another way to do, I don't know how, but I did click on the Panel of nuance of color under the sharpness slider in the gradient panel edit. Once you click on the color chart a range of Hue/Saturation/Lightness selector will appear titled 'Select a color' with an input field of degree of tint in the lower right corner. I deleted the value in this box and pressing the Enter key believing he would remove the color of gradient, but it did not. Now, the sample of color for this or any other previously defined gradient is visible - but I don't have a sample of color on gradients of news or adjustments. The area of shade of color under the sharpness slider is absent or invisible. Color gradients are not a show-stopper, but I cannot apply any brush, gradient, radial or the setting of any image. Existing setting seems to work as expected, but I can't create new gradients or adjustments.

  The screenshot here shows the view when I have an existing gradient selected on the left and the issue of the missing color on the right sample. He is the culprit of the whole issue or not, I couldn't say no, but since I cannot apply adjustments after you make this single change, I suspect that it is related. I will proceed with more details below, but this is the summary of my problem.

  After the first encounter this problem, I tried another image with no different results. I then tried Lightroom which presented me with a new problem of restart. In LR 3.6 when I tried to apply an adjustment or gradient image would appear as a full scale of gray ~ 128 but I didn't not measure its value. By selecting a State previous history would return the image but any later attempt to apply an adjustment or gradient resulted once again in gray. I then tried to restart my computer with no different results. Suspecting some core file might have been corrupted I then ran repair on LR 3.6 installation but no change - grayscale even if I tried an adjustment on all images. Not wanting to waste a lot of time to reinstall LR 3.6 I decided upgrade to LR 6 (no creativity cloud) hoping that this file of basic or other setting would be crushed. Without success. After the purchase and download of LR 6 a few hours ago, I tried to open the file and make adjustments. While it is no longer the image into a layer of gray blankets, I am still unable to create a radial gradient brush or setting. I suspected it might be the catalog at this stage and have completed just import and tests of other files with no real difference from above.

  Thank you once again Bob. I tried the option restore default Presets before you double click the word color, and the issue of gray Panel is back, though only intermittently. Sometimes he will apply a layer of gray on the image and view point which indicates the middle of the slope, while other times it does not display the layer gray or dowry.

  Which brings me to this post: Lightroom: problem exporting the images when spotting served

  and subsequently retrieve the catalog and images after the reset of the preferences that worked. I deleted the preferences file and the gradients are now working as expected. The options menu in Lightroom > Edit > preferences > Presets > Reset all default etc etc... not reset these preferences successfully so manually delete the files seems to be the solution.

  Adobe Photoshop Express for Windows 8 (bought in the App Store 8) has some major effects of dynamism.  I use these with digital paintings, to enhance the color saturation in the horizons.   Unfortunately, this is a very simplistic software and the effects that it provides must be applied to the entire image.   Adobe makes any product that would allow me to change the dynamism of a digital image with a brush of adjustable diameter so that I could carefully select where the effect is applied to?

  Learn about layer masks in Photoshop or elements - you can apply any effect to the areas you want with them.

• Adjustment brush problem

  When you use the adjustment brush I find that the entire image is adjuted, not only the part I chose, I followed some tutorials and did the same thing but I can't brush to adjust the selected area.   Are you sure that the activation of the tool? What happens when you click on the image in the main window? When you click on the off/on power tool you should see a pin code? It seems that you might have in the basic Panel.

• How to get back to changes in adjustment brush?

  I use LR 4.2 and I have a question about non-destructive Editor, specifically the use of the adjustment brushes.  After that I work with an adjustment brush and then continue with my editing that I can't figure out how to make the settings for which was darn earlier on the adjustment brush area.  With all the other editing features, I can change something, and then later make a change.  For example, I can put 10 highlights and then later I can change bulleted highlights-15 and then later change it to something else.  With things, I did with brushes of adjustment well that I did not understand the technique to do.  If I select adjustment and then brush click the box that I had changed earlier with an adjustment brush, apparently not reselect this area so that I can tweak it.  Is there a way to go back and change the fields selected with an adjustment brush?

  Yes, you can change the parameters of the adjustment brush after the fact by opening the adjustment once Brush tool again and selecting the PIN for the mask you want to adjust. The PIN will then have a black dot in the middle and adjustments for this mask will be in th cursor Panel, you go!

• Adjustment with exposure adjustment brush cancels the noise reduction

  I just noticed the following problem:

  (1) camera Raw 6.5; Bridge CS5 (4.0.5.11); Mac OS X 10.6.8; Mac Pro 3.1; Dual Quad-Core Xeon; 8 GB OF RAM.

  (2) start with a loud raw file (mine is a Canon 5 d II).

  (3) apply to noise reduction (luminance: 30;) Detail of the Lum: 75; Lum contrast: 0; Color: 25; Color detail: 50).

  4) go to the adjustment brush and set a nonzero exposure value.

  (5) apply the brush to the image and notice the effects of the noise reduction to disappear (noise returns).

  6) click clear all button to clear the adjustment brush and the noise reduction works again.

  This seems to happen only with brushes of adjustment with a nonzero exposure value (application of brightness or other settings do not seem to produce the problem).

  Anyone else seeing this?

  There are a few known issues with the exposure setting local leading to overall appearance of the image changes, especially in the highlights.  The problem with the noise should already resolved with the ACR 6.6 release candidate (RC), currently available.

  It was OK, some headaches - as you cannot use partial transparency after all, unless you want a weird purple highlight on the partially transparent bits.

  It's OK, I can live with the 80s style gif contours.

  The problem is: the technique works very well on brush image main but if you make a brush with corners of that image on the corners looks really badly pixelated and bad color around the edges of the image!
  I lost hours to remake the image of the corner I had done until I thought to try to use the image of 'good' that I knew worked OK as a corner too, just to test.

  It turns out that the image was beautiful, but just using ANY image as a wedge that produces the problem.

  So far, I tried using png instead of PSD, juggling Document Raster settings and check 'Anti Alias work' is enabled in preferences.

  So why would this be happening?

  (by the way - if you use a dish of png incorporated with a white background (no transparency) image seems fine for the body of the brush but blurry when you use it as a corner. Another bug?)

  I'm not sure of the Protocol here for marking Correct answers, etc., but it's the solution to the problem of model brushes ignoring your 'invisible boxes: custom

  You must name the invisible box .

  Sometimes Illustrator will always ignore your invisible custom boxes of positioning, especially if you are crushing repeatedly brush with adjusted versions components, but it's just an occasional glitch.

  This naming thing is the key.

  For example, if you want to draw a rectangular path as your custom box invisible, then Illustrator will automatically name this element , which won't work in a brush.

  To the contrary, rename the rectangle, place immediately below your component work grouped, selected and group the two then drag this group container for the Panel forms while now Alt as you usually would when adding work for gobo brush housing.

  I see no difference between the opinion of develop and the JPG exported if sharpening and resizing are DISABLED and quality = 100.  A non-haute quality of might change the texture of the output so that it is what is different for you?  Perhaps you could show us a screenshot of your panel of the export settings.

  Despite what has been said, there is no any Radial filters with zero NR.  With Todd of suggestion, I found that there are FIVE overlapping brushes adjustment, each with 100 = noise reduction.  I had to drag out to see how they were.  Unfortunately, it seems little matter how many brushes you add with NR = 100 the effect is the same, so they are not additive:

  In my opinion, the problem you are having with the sky is that your main overall Luminance settings are not optimal.  The amount of Luminance is only 4, but the details of the Luminance set to 100, which causes a look crumpled in areas initially fine grain and this will not be smooth with an extra brush NR.

  My suggestion would be to a higher overall amount of Lum, May 20 and one low light detail much more, maybe even zero.

  I put the NR = 0 for FOUR brushes five adjustment by disabling them efficiently and only adjusted the NR of those remaining at the original location, so these additional brushes could be removed:

  

  I think that the general issue that you are experiencing, it is that you want to adjust your NR without using 100% or zoom 1:1, then things look much more flexible on reduced zoom who they really are.

• Selection/removal of the forms of evil

  I use Pages for years and have never had a problem with this issue.  I want to just add a round shape in my document and copy it several times and make some labels.  I want to spend the circles in the document away somehow.  For some reason I can't click on the form and then select.  Sometimes I get selected and drag it, but most of the time I can't.  There are some circles that I can't select all.  Sometimes, there is a big blue line around anything that connects everything.  I have just never had this problem and I have googled to death and still can't find a response.   Pages (including v5.6.1) V5 is not based on the Pages ' 09 v4.3. It is a different beast and the other actively interfering with your productivity and mood.

  When you click on forms and insert a circle in your document in Pages v5.6.1, you must go to the Panel Format: organize the tab while the shape is selected. Text wrapping set to None. Do this for each inline shape. Double adjustment of inherent shape text Wrap. This disables the repellent multiple forms magnetic behavior, when it is defined otherwise.

  You can select a form when your mouse pointer passes a beam of insertion in a form of pointer. This occurs on the form. There is a square covering that surrounds the circle, but it is a zone of click.   My desktop computer running Windows Vista and I can't seem to set up multiple monitors.  I tried to changind display settings, but "several screens" are not listed.  When I unplug and reconect sreenc it gives me the double adjustment in all screens.  HOW CAN I GET MY COMPUTER TO DETECT OTHER SCREENS? HOW CAN I CHANGE THE EXPANDED SETTING?

• Event 45, volmgr. Windows 7 x 64 SP1. "The system could not sucessfully load the crash dump driver."

  The crash dump driver fails to load at startup.  When the system crash it does not blue screen and reboots the system.  I want to get it going so I can read the crashdump...

  There is a fix out there for pre Windows Vista SP1 that appears very relavent but will not be installed (by his design of the correction).

  Drop the question above actually lead to what may be a solution... The fix for Windows Vista pre SP1 fixes an issue with the (cloned) dynamic disks used to store the paging file.  I have two drives on the clone (E:\) which the system information noticed the location of the swap file.  I put the pagefile drive to C:\ in the event where it was the same problem, such as reported in the hotfix, but it has not fixed the problem...  So I assumed that this fix has been exceeded and a coincidence. But the information system showed the swapfile E:\, my dynamic disks...

  What has removed the error is "double adjustment" the return to C:\ drive.  Apparently once is not enough.  I put the pagefile on C:\ managed and rebooted system.  Then I noticed the mistake of volmgr came from miroir3 (second player in E:\) still info system showed the swapfile on C:\.   Weird indeed.  I went and be given the C:\ drive as the system swap drive to managed by activation/deactivation/Executive every car out of the current value, and then back to the desired direction.  After having done that and restart once more the error no longer appears in the event viewer at startup.

  The only thing worse than a BSOD, no BSOD.

• Improvement of skin tones

  I have a low image resolution I want to prepare for printing/Assembly of the canvas. It's a great pix but terrible quality. I am not too concerned about enlargement because of the way Web "skins" printing defects, but I'd like to improve skin tones, many of which are washed out. (See the feet.) Is there a way that this can be done in PS? I have attached image. Thank you!

  2 Cmd + J to duplicate the layer

  3 set the blending mode to multiply

  4. reduce the opacity to 90%

  5. Add a blank layer and set it to multiply

  6. use the Eyedropper to select a color in the area of the femur of the woman (between the hip and knee)

  7. Select a soft edge brush and adjust the opacity as necessary to fill grilled areas

  8. use the Quick Selection tool to select the greenery and separate the head from the entourage man

  9 Cmd + J to put it on a separate layer blending mode to screen. Set the opacity to your liking

• Overview of Lightroom flicker when using settings

  I upgraded to Lightroom CC, and filters brushes / radial adjustment are driving me crazy. The guard preview disappears when I'm trying to use a brush and sometimes I lose my settings completely, sometimes even including corrections of the harvest. Sometimes I lose even the previous adjustments brushed that were recorded. I have no problem with the same files when editing in the CC PS help what I can do to help with this?

  I use an i5 3.7 gHz PC with win 7, with 16 GB of RAM and a NVidia GeForce 640 graphics card. I've just updated the GPU driver to the latest version but I still think that this must be a GPU issue!

  Tried to disable the GPU processor in your Lightroom preferences. Unless you have a high retina display resolution there are very few benefits to GPU in any case.
