[BUG] Compile in clear

LV2011, but I suspect it happens on versions much more.

LV clears the location target of a Build _apres_ compile it himself, who just so happened to take 20 minutes just to fail... R - the Build by clicking and selecting clear also failed, so it was a kind of file access error. I could delete the target manually, and then succeed with the Build.

Mistakes like that should, of course, happen immediately as to not waste time and the solution is simple, clear at the beginning of the construction.

I call a Bug, or a very stupid design, make your choice.

Call it a bug.  Actually, it's a known problem with 2011.  An I even reported in the manner of thread bug monthly return with a CAR that is generated by a my SSP SR.  You have found the good work around! Manually clear the building before reconstruction.  For 2012 and 2013, I would need to dig.  I know personally that he has been set by the initial release of 2014.

    Hi Jo,.

    I had the same problem. This error is usually caused by a data type mismatch, is clearly not the case here, so most likely a bug (compiler version).

    Fortunately, the old features of Hsp are always available, then I would suggest using @HspNumToString.

    See you soon,.

  • You will release an SDK that compatible with Apache Flex 3.7?

    Hello

    For AIR 3.6 two version of the AIR SDK were one with the new released IN the compiler and the other to Flex with the old AS and MXML compilers. You will release a SDK 3.7, which is compatible with Apache Flex? And if yes what willit be available?

    Thank you

    Justin

    Thanks, Justin.  I spoke with the enforcement and discovered that we plan to release the AIR 3.7 SDK for flex users.  The problem now is that we have only one (with compiler) available on the channel of laboratories.  We talk so much adding laboratories, but I have no comment on that yet.  However, both will be available when 3.7 ships and I hope that we will have the Flex out for beta also compatible version.  The comments on this thread and the bug report shows clearly that there is a demand.

    Thank you

  • What is going on? Resource not found on the development computer. Error loading VI in lvlib. Load error code 3: could not open the front panel.

    Hello!

    I'm new to libraries of LV and I am compiling my application for the first time with several new lvlib.

    The executable is apparently built without problem, but when I try to run it on the same computer, I get various error messages (4) on the different elements but a single library:

    «LavVIEW: resource not found.»

    "An error occurred loading VI ' LibraryA.lvlib: ItemA.vi '.

    LabVIEW support 3 error code: could not load façade. »

    After that I got the same message for points B, C and D, a final message pops up like this:

    "Missing Subvi LibraryA.lvilib:ItemA.vi in LibraryA.lvilib:CallerX.vi.

    Missing, Subvi LibraryA.lvilib:ItemB.vi in LibraryA.lvilib:CallerX.vi.

    Missing Subvi LibraryA.lvilib:ItemD.vi in LibraryA.lvilib:CallerX.vi. »

    I am not getting any errors for all libraries, so I wonder what is happening.

    So far I have tried:

    -Mass compilation, a few times

    -Check / uncheck 'delete unused library of the project members' and change project after library file removed unused members in the additional Exclusions Page «»

    -Add the screw mentioned in "Still included" in "Source Files".

    When I added the "Always included" screw, I rather got the following (4 times, end to end):

    "The Vi is not executable. The version of LabVIEW full development is necessary to correct the errors. [...]"

    Any other ideas?

  • SERIOUS BUG! Clear cookies does not

    After that I updated to Firefox 36.0.4, option of th to clear cookies does not work!

    DESCRIPTION:
    Tools/Options/Privacy/settings / "" when I quit firefox it should clear automatically: Cookies ""

    I check the box. Restart et seq. checkbox is now unchecked, and cookies are NOT deleted.

    When I do restart and go into the settings, the remains of the box ticked, but only until you restart.

    It is a SERIOUS security bug, in my opinion.

    As shown above:

    The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

    You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).

    You can remove the user.js file if not create you this file yourself, because there is no need to initialize Pref in this way.

  • Clear recent history + cookies clears all cookies, including those on the list of exceptions - bug or feature?

    I have several sites on the list of the persons authorized to keep the cookies always (options, privacy, cookies, exceptions). When I use "clear recent history" and check the cookies, the cookies are deleted, including those on the allowed list. Maybe it's a feature rather than a bug, but I much prefer it if cookies excepted were excluded.

    This is how it works. Using clear recent history clears all specified cookies and does not exclude cookies that have an exception permit. If you want to keep a few cookies then you should avoid using CRH to clear the cookies and delete unwanted cookies in the Cookie Manager or they expire when you close Firefox. In this way you keep the cookies with an exception permit.

  • Bug: Playlist using the filter of compilations: reversed filter

    Create a smart playlist, using filter Compilation = yes, displays all the tracks that are not part of a compilation.

    Vice versa: playlist updated Compilation = no, filter shows all the tracks that are part of a compilation.

    The Boolean value of the playlist filter is reversed because of a bug in iTunes.

    I use iTunes 12.3.2.35, 64-bit, German, on Windows 10, 64-bit, German.

    The definition of playlist is like this (translated into English by myself I'm using German installation):

    -Use all of the following criteria

    -Compilation: Yes (or no for reversal)

    -Genre: is 'classic '.

    -No amount of objects

    -Automatically update

    Is this only Compilations or have labels for Yes & No. (true & is false) was mixed for all rules? 12.3.0.44 had problems with the field year in Polish, Portuguese (Portugal, Brazil not) & Greek because incorrect values have been used in localization files. My guess is that there is a similar question.

  • False alarm: the compiler bug?

    This happens with CVI 2010 SP1.

    Compiling this code, I get "WARNING: Conversion from '__int64' to 'long' could lose data... ' on the 'z = y' line.

    Please note this line does not have any variable __int64.

    More strange: if I comment any line of the "case", the warning disappears: the warning when are present four or more instructions "box.

    However, the generated code works perfectly, to a quick test.

    #define A 0x00000000
    #define B 0x00000001
    #define C 0x00000002
    #define D 0x00000003

    #define MASK 0x00000003

    void CompilerBug()
    {
    __int64 x=0;

    int y,z;

        switch(x & MASK) {
            case A: y=0; break;
            case B: y=1; break;
            case C: y=2; break;
            case D: y=3; break;
        }
        z = y;
    }

    I will be happy if someone can confirm this behavior.

    Thank you

    At first glance, the warning seems to be false. The conversion from __int64 to long don't actually takes place. Instead, case expressions are converted long __int64. The behavior of the switch statement seems correct and therefore the warning can be ignored.

    We have not yet investigated the cause of this error, but you can follow the matter with bug ID 363456. In the meantime, it would be more prudent to ensure that your switch expression and case expressions are of the same type where we have not fully defined errors.

  • The compiler bug? Var statement above the postcedes function being called external execution function definition

    Use Flash CS5 (AIR and, although this does not seem that it would be AIR bound) in Win XP 64

    I have a MovieClip symbol in my library with the identifier 'Puzzle10Piece10' with the following actionscript code attached to frame 1 of the single layer with the following actionscript code:

    Import 12345678910111213import;
    import flash.display.Sprite;

    var bmpSprite:Sprite = new Sprite();
    addChild (bmpSprite);
    trace ("*" + bmpSprite + "*");

    function addBMP(b:Bitmap):void
    {
    trace ("=" + bmpSprite + "=");
    BMP = b;
    bmpSprite.addChild (b);
    }

    I have the following text in a class AS file:

    If (name is "GoalCard")
    {
    var p10:Puzzle10Piece10 = new Puzzle10Piece10();
    trace (new Bitmap (p.getImages (). Hallway [1]));
    variableArea.addChild (p10);
    P10.addBMP (Bitmap (p.getImages (again). Hallway [1]));
    }

    Produces the following output:

    CLASS: PictureTools FUNCTION getImages() return [[object Object]]
    [object Bitmap]
    CLASS: PictureTools FUNCTION getImages() return [[object Object]]
    ========== null ===========
    Bland (out) lightbox FEATURE
    [object Sprite] *.

    The "trace (new Bitmap (...". "is only to show that I am sending a valid bitmap object to the function, I'll call you.

    This goes against my understanding of the pre-compiler and code execution order.  In my way of thinking, any creation of reference and memory related distribution is performed when the object is instantiated, and indeed that allocation, unlike C does not depend on code order (statement before use), although it is a command that can reach even the C pre-compiler.  If I understand correctly the compiler in Flash at all, it's not even a question of "order of the code"... the symbol is pre-compiled such that it exists... so that it can be instantiated, the variable would exist before the function would be "available" to be called internally or externally.

    Is my way of thinking to the coast, or is this a bug?

    at least since flash mx.

  • Bug in Flash CS5 - compiled Clips 3D rotation

    I found a bug in flash CS5, I was wondering if anyone else had this?

    This bug occurs in Flash CS5 creative compilation of clips that use the 3D rotation tool. It seems that if you attempt to convert a symbol that contains a 3D to a compiled clip transformation it will not work properly. What makes this problem worse, is that the error is not reported correctly and so it is almost impossible to debug.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1, create a new empty project to AS3.

    2, create a new symbol and call it 'sym1' place a shape of rectangle in it.

    3, create another symbol and call it 'sym2' place 'sym1' inside.

    4, now, while you are still editing sym2, select the instance of sym1 and access the 3D rotation tool - rotate 3d sym1.

    5, now right-click on sym2 in the library and go to "convert clip compiled", note the warning:

    «WARNING: 5002: image of the main timeline scripts have been ignored because a compiled clip contains a definition for fl.livepreview.LivePreviewParent.» To override the fl.livepreview.LivePreviewParent definition, place a custom in your classpath class file. »

    As you can see this warning message does not describe the problem precisely. Unfortunately, it is easy to accidentally add a 3-d rotation to a symbol without knowing. This has been a major issue for us and we had to spend several days to track down the problem.

    All I have this problem or knows how to get around it to allow a 3-d rotation compiled clips?

    * Update *.

    I just had a similar problem with the new TLF text in compiled clips. If we try to convert a compiled clip that contains TLF text, it throws the following warning:

    "WARNING: no library was linked as a Runtime Shared Library (RSL) because of your publication settings: compiled Clip.

    Thank you!

    Update of the TLF text added.

    The good news for you is that these two warnings are that: warnings. They are not errors, and both transactions must actually be completed with success, at least for the most part.

    The warning that you get with the 3D used in a symbol that you convert a compiled clip definitely looks like a bug. What is happening there is that normally when we export 3D, we add some automatically generated ActionScript in the document implementation of the transform.perspectiveProjection level. When you export a compiled clip, it attempts to add this code to the class LivePreviewParent, which it cannot do, and is not really what you want anyway.

    So the only real problem you get with the compiled clilps 3D, is that if you have ONLY 3D compiled clips (and not in any ordinary symbol) then the perspectiveProjection will not be configured correctly. The best way to solve this problem is to ensure that you have a FEW 3D somewhere onstage who isn't in a compiled clip. It might be something very small and simple, it is behind the scenes, it might even be something that is right on a frame and is a framework that you PLAY never really, but without some 3D that isn't a video compiled, you will not get the perspectiveProjection implemented correctly.

    As TLF, which is not a bug and is a warning provided, although it is a little cryptic so apologies for that. If you click the parameters of ActionScript in the document PI button and go to the Library Path tab, you should see below near the bottom that the default binding is set to Runtime shared library (RSL), which means that by default the implementation of TLF will be downloaded when running as a RSL. However for the clips compiled at the moment the automatic download of RSL does not work, so if you make a video compiled with TLF, then eventually change this setting to be merged into the code, and this warning is just trying to tell you that.

    It is a bit of a cause for concern, because the TLF library is not a small thing, and you would rather download it as an RSL. The RSL TLF is signed by adobe as a SWZ file, which means that flash player can cache in all applications that use it. So the idea is that, even if you download it as an RSL, it is unlikely that you really need to wait that he download, because the user has probably touched another site which he already used. So really it is ideal that if you can avoid putting TLF in compiled clips and therefore take advantage of the RSL, but if you can't, then everything should work well for you, you just a larger SWF file.

    I hope that these explanations made sense!
