  Unable to sign in Blackberry Protect.  Backup and restoration of function does not. Message is: "your device is not associated a Blackberry ID."  My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World works well so I'm sure this isn't a problem of ID on the phone.  I can sign in link, Blackberry.com and Protect.  I see my device to protect, but can't send messages, or view it on a map.  Times out with cannot reach peripheral message.  BB Protect on device has a circle whirling next to the on/off switch.  Cannot turn off.

  I deleted the link and re-installed.

  I reset the phone to the default (factory) and signed in.

  I managed to understand this. I had to remove the device from the Blackberry Protect site.  Protect.BlackBerry.com. I deleted my new and connected device with my Blackberry ID.  I don't know if the step of wiping was necessary because I have not tried my backup with the current configuration of the device after the deletion.  The restoration is underway for me!

• Upgraded to v18 and default search home page does not work

  I've just updated to Firefox 18 and my default Firefox start page does not work. I type in a Word and press 'enter' or click on search and nothing happens.

• Bing Video does not load on my msn page.

  Same thing with me, Bing videos work on the site but on my homepage after I put in a different user of the same account happened to me as before, i.e., MSN Bing video will be not in the square designed for that, once I've customized my page to include the latter. • BlackBerry Smartphones installed BBDM 5.0 and it does not connect to the device

  I upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 BBDM and since the BBDM does not recognize my Curve 8330.  Follow the instructions in troubleshooting and they do not seem to work. Do a soft reset and it has not fixed either.  Get always "none" in the PIN field on the bottom right of the homepage BBDM. Any other suggestions?  . . . I've updated because the Roxio Media Manager was not working in 4.6, nor was I able to sync contacts or calendar with Lotus Notes 8, in order to reverse does not seem to be a good option.

  Try to disconnect the BlackBerry to the PC, turn off the PC and allow it to restart.

  Meanwhile, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Make sure your USB cable is talk to a usb port of the PC, not a USB hub or REAR port PC before.

  Try again to establish the connection.

• search for Pantone does not not in illustrator CS6

  Hello everyone - this issue has been a problem for me in Illustrator CS6 for more than a year.

  The Libray Pantone in Illustrator CS6 has a search box, but when I type in some numbers (541 for example), it takes me to 7541. However, if I look at and manually choose the shade hovering (which takes an eternity and ridiculous) I find it.

  541 sample is here, but the search function does not work for many numbers. This is an incredible waste of time for me and after many updates and put up with it for a year, I'm at the end of my rope.

  What all would you propose short to buy yet another version of Illustrator that I find ridiculous since I already paid several thousand dollars for this one and I don't want to have to buy new software because there is a bug that adobe refuses to patch.

  Was that it was for a long time and boring. Type (space) 541 (space).

  4 digits should work fine, as long as they are not new numbers after CS6 is out.

• Search for messages does not work. Help!

  I use Messages from research (selected from the menu of the right mouse button that appears when I click on an e-mail folder name) several times a day, either as a simple search with one thing to look for, or a complex search with 2 or more criteria. He often works well, but I also often find that it isn't finding the text in the body of an email (using "contains the body... »). There are some messages that it is not right. Over the years, it has caused me a major waste of time every day to do research using only to the or field and then reading dozens or hundreds of messages that have been retrieved. Global search also does not find these messages, but today I tried for the first time using filters fast and who find them. Yay! However, I have hundreds or even thousands of messages in folders and I really need to use Messages from research through its combination of in, and the body of the fields (and limit the search to a single folder) to make useful research.
  While Googling this problem a few years ago, I came across boards periodically remove the global messages file - db.sqlite and expect to rebuild before doing the search. I do this regularly, but only occasionally it solve my current problem of research.
  Can someone help me?

  Since the announcement, I found that someone else has fixed this problem by unsubscribing and then re-subscribe their records. It worked for me also! Yippeeee!

• Under folder disappeared with the emails. E-mails can still be found with search option but does not display text

  A bunch of my subfolders to sort my email disappeared, which has been brought to my attention when TB tried to sort my mails and said that the subfolder does not exist. I've recreated the subfolders with the same name as before and when I entered the new subfolder I was surprised to see that all the past E-mail were in it. However, when I opened the email body of emails were empty. (I even tried to syntax highlighting for white text as suggested in the line, but nothing)

  I used the "search for emails"options to try to find, using the title of the emails as search parameter, that is to say "received for your PalPay payment" and the search results gave me the results of all the missing emails with the full text of each e-mail. " However, when I went into individual emails (or open emails as option in the list) the text was not yet there. It must be here somewhere because the search option is to find.

• Links of search results Google does not load (not a direct new problem)

  Simple problem:
  1 enter a term for Google to search for (either using the Google toolbar installed or via his landing page).
  2. the results are returned correctly.

  Note that this is not the Google redirect problem that many users have encountered, but something different.

  Suggestion of John99 above that the cause of the problem is a problem of update of Google I think is correct. The discussion link: https://support.mozilla.org/forums/contributors/708153 indicated that Mozilla is working with Google and that a cancellation would be promulgated.

  Although I can say this was done because the Google search function works again (from 4 PM MDT). I tried with some queries from first time and they worked as announced. All features have been restored.

  (For the record, cookies were already on my machine but I clear them and hide according to the first answer - that didn't work. No other solves above I only implemented. "So as far as I'm concerned, he was a"problem of Google", it was a"fix Google").

  In the latest version of Gmail, no history of search form will save, but it does in the old version of Gmail. I checked the settings to clear all history, and they are all correct, because it does not remove another story of shape, including the old version of Gmail. • Search Safari bar does not

  Hi, while I can type in the search bar of Safari / return/enter button window does not respond and so I can't get anything. Safari seems to work OK for all marked pages bookmarked, and the keyboard works normally in other applications. All my applications are updated.  Any ideas how I can fix this problem?   Go to Safari preferences--> search and uncheck 'suggestions Include Safari', and then restart the browser.  You should have all the features again.

• In Windows 7, try to re - activate windows search, but it does not work

  I disabled Windows Search by going to the control panel => turn Windows on or off features => Windows Search and by unchecking the checkbox.

  I'm trying now reactivate it by putting a check in the box. It does not work. When I click OK, if I re - open the window, the box is gone again.

  It is indeed strange.  My two immediate suggestions would be to try the troubleshooter to search in the control panel............... but since you can't even activate that I am doubtful that would help.

  Secondly, and probably more likely to accomplish something, I would try the system restore in the start menu.  Since you can't use the instant search on the start menu, I think it's under Accessories, then system tools.
  Just open it, choose a date before the power off of search and click Next. The entire restoration takes about 2 minutes and will not affect your files, it just re - sets Control Panel.

• BlackBerry Z30 Parental control on OS 10.3 does not
