• Bug: birthdays synced from Exchange are 1 day off [de-version]

  Hi guys,.

  I have a pretty annoying bug here.

  Location: Defy bought in Germany with all the German settings (UTC + 1).

  I have contacts in Exchange sync on the Defy that contain birthdays (and other events). I also have contacts with birthdyas coming from Facebook.

  Using the search application"standard" contact stock, the Facebook birthdays are displayed correctly, but those coming Exchange is all one day: they are one day too early. " This is also reflected in other applications of third that access the built-in contact database. The date is different from 1 day to what I put in outlook.

  I dug deeper and installed the touchdown, an Exchange/contac-e-mail client that keeps its own list of contacts synced directly to Exchange. Here, dates are displayed correctly.

  It seems as if synchronization of contacts from Exchange, the device is not correctly interpreters dates.

  This is probably a confusion with the time zones? However, it is rather annoying - I called friends a day earlier twice now :-)

  Anyone know anything about this?

  Exchange is where I fixed it.

  One of 2 things usually done. Just the touch of opening and saving. Or the break contact, change B-day, save and change back and save again.

  There is a weird bug of ActiveSync plaguing smartphones for years. As far as I know it is resolved in Exchange 2010. But if you google "Exchange Sync Birthdays out of one day" you will see it poisons everything that syncs with Exchange to iPhones to Google accounts to other Android devices, same blackberries. Microsoft should fix this problem.

  Is there a deadline for the 1st week quiz? (i.e. it will go offline after Friday, June 6)?

• Workaround Bug quiz?

  Hi all -

  I read through many other problems had with Captivate quiz, but did not see mine. Details:

  • When the user does not have a quiz (less than 80% of the scores), they are allowed to continue in a lesson, even though they are supposed to have to go to continue.
  • I tried several solutions, such as the definition of the quiz to access another slide when a user fails, but nothing works.
  • I am using Captivate 5, but the same problem occurs with 4.

  I feel like there should be a way to solve the problem with advanced Actions, but I'm not an expert with them and that I tried did not work.

  Any help would be appreciated more... I would be happy to buy lunch you if you ever visit my beautiful home town of Portland, Oregon, USA.

  If you just want to prevent the user from continuingthe courses if they fail in the Quiz, try the following.

  Go in Edition > Preferences > Quiz > settings, select the option "Move required, user must pass the Quiz to continue" in the "Required" drop down.

  This setting prevents the user to stay the course if they fail in the Quiz, and if you want the user to resume the Quiz if they fail in the Quiz activate "Resume button" preferences. To do this,

  Go to Preferences > Quiz > pass or fail, select "infinite attempts", "Button to see the recovery" check boxes.

  These parameters will add a "Retake quiz" button on the result slide and will display only when the user fails the Quiz.

• [Bug] Controls created from primitives have the wrong default value

  I feel like the scene in South Park where MOM Kyles is in the Office of the Director and the Director asked "Hello, which seems to be"cheesing"you today?  Here's what's me cheesing today:

  When you create a control from a terminal to a primitive of the control's default value is not transmitted to the control is created as we are accustomed from subVIs.  Oh the label certainly will make you think that it is because it seems to be considered good style to write a small exhibition on the default inside the parentheses.

  My recent encounter was in a VI that worked until I Inline it and then stopped working.  A man who was difficult to diagnose.  I thought WTF say you I can't create a queue of size 0, I have a control with a value '-1' sitting right here!  Finally, I realized that this feature fed to the default, then I tried "reset default" and to my surprise I saw the value of-1 to 0.  What? What? What?

• Adding the URL for the quiz on the slides, OR separate quiz slides

  I would like to add the URL of my quiz slides to give more information question. I can't find the hyperlink button insert on the toolbar properties of quiz. I use 7 Captivate on a Mac, with output tutorial as HTML5.

  For all this I tried to insert blank slides between the slides in quiz (multiple choice) to give information of substance, but I cannot know how to separate the quiz slides from each other.

  Any suggestions?

  With the exception of the workflow of remediation (i.e. to slides in the Captivate file) a question slide is considered to be answered when the user leaves, even if the allowed number of attempts is not reached.  It's how are designed the question slides. So, it is possible to arrange these visits before the question slide? Perhaps a mock-up of the question on this slide "before"?

• Quiz problems

  Hi all

  Having some problems with a quiz in CS6. I have 4 questions to my classes and then 5 pools in question, which I have 5 random questions at the end of the course. The user must take the test, however if I fail the quiz recovery button then takes me to one of the ongoing issues - taking the user almost to the beginning. I have not had this problem before, so it is confusing. Also, when I miss the continue button always present. I must have something wrong in the settings but don't know what it is. The 4 questions in the course of operations have no points against them and are not reportable in the settings.

  This is the way all Captivate quizzes are designed to behave when you click on the Retake Quiz button on the Quiz results slide.  This button takes you to the first object scored in the project, which may even be a button or clickbox for example.  In your case, it took the user to the first question slide in the quiz.  If the question slide is a normal quiz blade or a random quiz slide from a pool of quiz does not change this behavior.

  The continue button always will be visible on the slide Quiz results that succeed you or fail the quiz.  The Retake Quiz button won't be on the Quiz results slide if you pass the test.  If you review quizzes allow selected, then the review Quiz button will also be present on the Quiz results slide that you pass or fail the quiz.  It's just the way works Captivate.

• Is this a bug? Problem using points hot polygon on images.

  I can create hot spots rectangular on the images very well, but when I select the polygon tool, I am prompted to enter the ALT data as soon as I clicked a single point... in other words, Dreamweaver CS5 think I made after I clicked once. How am I supposed to create a complex shape if it doesn't let me click more than once? What I am doing wrong?

  I googled the topic at the death of the last hour and each video demo, I've seen seems to indicate that I should be able to click on the polygon tool, and then enter a bunch of nodes before the 'zone' is considered complete. But as I said, I click once and poof, Dreamweaver think I did. The hell?

  It is indeed a bug.

• Problem with the display of the percentage value

  I have a report that calculates a percentage based on 2 digits. For example, Actual_count = 15000 and forecast_count = 14900. To calculate the percentage that I use the following SQL statement

  select ROUND(((ACTUAL_COUNT-FORECAST_COUNT)/FORECAST_COUNT)*100,1) as "PERCENTAGE" from table

  This gives me the result of "-.» 7. " It's the right answer, but what I would like is the answer display "-0.7".
  
  Of course, I only want this when the percentage is less, when more is not a problem.
  
  The reason I want it is because it is easier to read, my manager has been confusing figures think that negative numbers are numbers more (seemingly his eyesight is not what it was 8-P).

  Here's my problem: when I resize my browser window the main div is scaled up to a certain point when it just fell below all other content.

  How can I stop this from happening?  I have div the upper and lower the value of width of the car, so I can't understand what goes wrong.

  No no not this white list is what prevents us from being able to offer our service to users of firefox which is a real shame. Can you help speed up this white list request.

  We are normal users like you and it didn't isn't a lot of devs autour discussions forum reading, so we can't probably you help with this.
  You can try to contact the developers via IRC or new groups.

• Cannot type in google documents, I already tried to disable all add-ons, but nothing has worked

  Any document from google that I try to use, I am unable to type in the google doc. I already turned off all the modules via the reboot to safe mode. This does not resolve the issue.

  Is there a way to remedy this situation?

  I noticed this bug in Firefox 23.0 myself also.

  I'm sorry that it affects you too. Remember that Firefox Nightly is prone to have bugs like this from time to time. If you need something more stable try to use Aurora, beta or final version of Firefox. This bug in particular is not present in these versions.

• Cookies and website data keep reappearing after removal

  When I delete old or unused cookies and the Web site data in the preferences of Safari (9.1), they keep reappearing, a lot of sites I haven't visited in months or years. I guess they are be re-populated icloud. How do I delete and ask them to stay gone until I actually decide to visit those sites again once? I like to have iCloud keep my computer, phone and tablet in sync, but I don't understand why it isn't updated itself to follow what I do,

  Cookies and data bases of these sites will be reloaded even if you do not visit them. Note that if you visit a page often, it may be added to your Top Sites unless all the available places are already occupied by pinned sites.

  Cookies can also be created by elements, such as advertisements and invisible "web bugs", which come from a different web server than inviting you to. You can block some of these cookies in the privacy of the Safari preferences window tab.

  I had a fake Virus alert and got rid of the lock upwards, but have been unable to "Remove all data from the Web site" in the preferences "Privacy". Whenever I have delete data, it is well again with 206 stored cookies. Any suggestions to get rid of these cookies permanently?
