  Your informatica workflow to create new package ODI (eventually plan to charge).

  I am writing a calc script to transfer data from order book of FY15 Q1 to Q4 FY14 here is the problem in my script. If spin this script to copy the same year, it works fine but when trying to load between two different years, it does not work. could someone help me please. where miss me the logic.   My first question is what is the order of members in your dimension years and quarter the level low your dimension of periods? Secondly, what dimensions are rare and dense (can you tell me which members in the calc are in dense and sparse dimensions)

  I would like to create a MaxL script that accepts parameters, and this parameter is then used ina given load rule, IE. It will be used to set the exercise used in a data load rule field.

  You gave the answer, yousef. You cannot pass parameters to a MaxL statement to a rule of the charge, but charge rules may have them-substitution variables (System 9 or newer). Now if I load the data using the rules file I'm getting errors for all members in the dataload.err file. If I reject mutiple members of a single field, the data load without settling errors in the dataload.err file.

  Server load rules files are stored on the Essbase server and can be shared by / read byde anyone with privileges on the same server. Local rules are floating just around 'somewhere' - I have never seen the point. It's not as if you need to access the file server system to save to the server.
