Built-in browser zoom

I develop with JDE 4.7 and made an application that follows very closely the BrowserContentManagerDemo. It works fine except that it is difficult to browse the sites Web since the field of browser is zoomed to a part of the page and there is no way to zoom out to get the bigger picture.

Is it possible to implement the in/out zoom has the default browser?

This is not currently supported in a browser field.  The field of browser uses a rendering engine different than the BlackBerry browser, which does not support zoom even functions in the browser.

    I open payment portal in the built-in browser for blackberry.

    Once the transaction is completed call you a Web service to check whether the operation is finished or not, based on this result, I need to display an alert to the user.

    I want to know when the user closes the browser in order to display the alert depending on the success of failure of the transaction.

    Is it possible to detect the 'ESC' event or any other event that speaks of the Blackberry browser?

    I'm not aware of any way to do it.  In fact, I would say that it is not necessarily something appropriate to do, given that the user can switch to your Application without leaving the browser.  So I would like to use a return to your Application to trigger your web service call.  There are two options:

    (a) create a onExposed() method, when you start the browser game a flag in your onExposed() method, if the flag is set, you are returned to the browser session and then can check.

    (b) make the same type of treatment but use activate() and Application deactivate() methods.

    Java newbie here - coding experience is VB.

    I'm trying to code using the JDE Eclipse against Sun JDK 6 for a Curve 8900 platform, V4.6.1.250, 4.2.0.113.

    I have a dirt simple browser application that accesses a single Web page. Exit the screen of the page is formatted for PDAS and other portable devices.

    The images on the site looks like a BB or PDA screen with up and down buttons that call graphical objects for display. It also allows zoom in on certain parts of the image when you position then click and hold the trackball on a Blackberry. (The description above is how it works when you browse using the standard BB browser.)

    When I try to click on buttons or graphic, nothing happens.  I guess I did a class/method required and appeals against it, but being new, I don't know how to do it and did not find documentation online to point me in the right direction.

    What I want to do is one click of the buttons via the trackball or press and hold the trackball to zoom feature work.

    Here is the code I use:

    VBRefugee, I think you should start your programming BlackBerry checking the development layout of how the UIApplications are built. The UiApplication class does not display of really anything on the screen by itself, rather you would lead to an extension of a class of display on the screen where you can be private pushScreen (MainScreen()) again and you would customize your layout in the constructor of your screen extension adding your controls with a field of embedded browser. Take a look at some of the applications delivered by the JDE and the eclipse plugin example. I think it could help you, but I could have misunderstood.

    We observe that the #{line} evaluates for the first time that we click on the commandlink to COMPENSATE (see code below) after a zoom on the browser (always used with Firefox 33.0). On the following clicks, it works fine. I tried the description of accessibility in trinidad and that did not help.

    Finally, this issue seems to be with the VO Setup options. The 'Mode of access' VO was put with "Range Paging" - so if we happen to zoom out, click a folder outside the range, the "CaseId" is not present.

    Change the Access Mode to Scrollable solved the problem.

  • I can integrate iframe or a website in DPS on Tablet (without built-in browser)?

    I wonder if it is possible to have an article to embed or iframe URL in a way that allows me to browse the site without the browser integrated DPS popping up whenever I click on a link?

    I understand that the browser application was built for similar purposes. However, for this specific user experience, it would be better off without the browser popup.

    I tried a script simple iframe in an HTML file - which did not work. Even unsuccessful result with an overlay of folio of Web content.

    Any way to get around this or am I out of luck? Thank you

    This happens by itself whenever I type for example, Facebook messages, transactions online on commercial sites, etc..

    To return to the text/size screen content initially, I was working on I press on CTRL - or Ctrl + to zoom in or out.

    I have another request on this forum about the intermittent jumps of the cursor each time I tap on the text boxes.  I wonder if there is a correlation between the zoom / out or jumping cursor problem.

    My laptop is a dv6 - 6167cl Pavilion Entertainment PC, Windows 7 Professional. I'm regularly using a Logitech M325 wireless mouse.

    I'd appreciate any help.

    There may be a disable tochpad spot (probably, the upper left corner) to turn off the touch pad, double tap it disable touchpad when you type.

  • How is it when I Zoom in pages now, it is not a zoom of the images too?

    I use Firefox for Mac desktop 38.0.5. I am running OSX Yosemite.
    Then I Zoom pages this does not zoom images. He is used to.
    Sometimes, it's the main reason I'm zoom... to see a captcha, or images as on tumblr or a news page.

    You can find this setting in the view menu:

    Set the value to 100 instead of the default value of 150.
    It seems to default zoom 80% full zoom on all pages including the new tabs.

    So far, all the addons found zoom ive only set zoom preset according to the site rather than the individual tab.

    You can disable the site specific zoom.

  • Zoom changed behavior

    Since the upgrade to v31.0 I find the zoom function has changed. I have a big screen and I used the zoom to the width of the page in the browser window.

    Now, when I zoom, the width of the page remains the same (in the center of the 2/3 or longer than the screen), but increases the size of the police and, on for many pages, then overlap its text boxes/frames.

    How can I go back to the old behavior?

    Hello AngB, what you described is the expected behavior by default in firefox, since it will remember your custom of expansion on a per domain basis and apply it to every page of this area.

    If you want to change it, enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and look for the named browser.zoom.siteSpecificpreference. Double-click it and change its value to false.

    You can change the zoom to be specific tab instead of in-situ.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the zoom and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.zoom.siteSpecific from true to false.

    When I open mail.yahoo.com two different tabs, one to see a message that I compose quite another to see a message that I read, I can't put two tabs-different zooms, as I see either one of them is too big or too small.
