Built-in webcam bent works on HP ProBook 4520 s product number: WH300UT #ABA

Hi, I have a HP ProBook 4520 s running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, the number of product WH300UT #ABA. I had tested my camera one day before the trip June 30 and found that it worked very well, however several days after their arrival I used for the first time and found that it only shared no video on the Facebook video chat. I went to Skype to find a similar situation, it identifies the device that is used, but it doesn't send any video. Finally, I checked in her Arc Soft Total Media Suite to see if I could take pictures, once more he identified the connected device and yet nothing was displayed, not even pure black and the buttons to capture and record are grayed out. I made no changes since the last successful use, as far as I know to my system other than the installation of a new mouse and windows updates. I would appreciate help, thank you.

  • ProBook 4520 s: product key for Windows 7 - unreadable sticker.

    Hello.

The Windows pre-installed on the Probook 4520 s has been reinstalled with killing all the partitions on the HARD disk. Only after I saw that the product key on the sticker is unreadable. Is it possible to recover this key, if I have the serial number of the laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

Unfortunately, HP and Microsoft will issue replacement of OEM product keys, and HP doesn't keep track of the keys.

Your only recourse will be to order a set of recovery disks from HP that will not need product key.

If you live in the USA/Canada, call this number... 1-800-334-5144.

Have the serial number of the PC handy to give to the customer service rep.

  • ultimate panoramas and sony built in webcam not working not

Sony does not offer a driver for the webcam because they do not justify the upgrade. There is another material that I could use to make it work?

    Hi new sony1,

I'm sorry to hear that. Then your webcam would not be supported in Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, hopefully Sony will at some point put out a driver for it. For now, you can try Virtual PC. It is free to download and you can run a different version of Windows Vista inside and use your webcam from there. For more information on Virtual PC 2007 pull on the link below:

  • Built in webcam not working not

I have a HP Pavilion dv6565us. It came with Vista Home Premium 32-bit, but I have upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - bit. And it has been working well. But recently my integrated webcam has stopped working. It worked fine before with Windows 7 and the last update, but after any changes to the OS or whatever it is he has stopped working. No matter what program I use either doesn't recognize the presence of the webcam or shown as an option for an input device but does not work.

I did all the solutions I found during the search of similar problems and none have worked. I did few things about updating and reinstalling the drivers, I have spent in my device manager and uninstalled and reinstalled all USB root hubs. I even updated the BIOS for my system.

The only time it appears to the top is when I go to devices and printers from the Start Menu. The strange thing is, he showed, missing from there and again highlight.

When it shows up, I go to properties and it says that the device works properly, is not. In the box where it says model number, it says unavailable.

In the details section, there is a whole list of properties. There are too many post in a thread. But if you need to know an any of them, I will post them.

    Hello

If you updated the drivers and BIOS and the camera don't work there is probably a hardware
issue. Maybe a bad connection or the camera has gone wrong. Do check it out to a real computer

    ================================================================

I see where the camera has beed works on Windows 7 however is it really compatible with Windows
7? Below are methods to check and update the drivers that could help even if you have
    tried to do the same.

You run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to make sure that your system will work correctly on Windows 7?
And check with the Compatibility Center (for the main devices).

    Windows 7 Upgrade Advisorhttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx

    Windows 7 Compatibility Center
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

Also check with the manufacturer of the system's support and their forums (if any). ("Can" have help
upgrade your system to Windows 7.)

    ============================

If the system and the camera will run on Windows 7 and Windows 7 drivers for the camera.

Vista references apply to Windows 7.

You probably need to recharge the device drivers and any software control of the'IF' camera, there is
    everything for Windows 7.

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot and then HIDE it and watch manually to see if their
really is a more recent version (at the time system manufacturer and the sites of the manufacturer of the device).

  • Motion Eye built in webcam not working not (VGNNS140E)

    Hello

I have a VGNNS140E and the problem is that my webcam has suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. It did not work properly for a long time: I think that since I installed Windows 7 64-bit OS (2 years ago) and reinstalled ArcSoft Companion 2. At that time he used to sometimes work while other times not. whenever it took place, he disappeared in the Device Manager.
Previously, he had to just restart the system and the pilot would have returned, but now it won't. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled ArcSoft, but in Device Manager it is displayed in the other peripheral tab as a 5U875 device (manufacturer Ricoh).
Vaio support chat, told me to run a system recovery, but it did not work.
I would get this specific for Win7 x 64 OS device driver, because I've not found on Sony eSupport. In this forum, I found many other customers who have the same problem, but with different models of webcam and laptop computer.

  • Compaq 515 built in webcam not working not not on Windows 7.

I went to MSN, and when I sent the invitation, he said that I have a webcam so I went to tools and also, it said I didn't have a webcam. So, I disconnected and went to add/remove programs and I saw that HP webcam was there for that means that I have the webcam installed right? I don't know how to solve this problem.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > looking for the latest Windows 7 drivers > download/install them.

  • My built-in webcam on my HP Pavilion TouchSmart desktop computer will not work on all programs, online or offline and will not display on my computer.

My built-in webcam on my HP Pavilion TouchSmart desktop PC, product #: FK935AA-ABG, model #: IQ515a, does not work, that is to say, it does not appear on my computer as a work/usable/functional/real webcam. The green light next to the real webcam above the screen doesn't flash or turn on (there is no light indicating that it is not on). I don't know how to activate it or make it work. On Windows Live Messenger, the name of my webcam does not appear on the drop-down list, and I want to know why it does not appear only on MSN but Skype, HP TouchSmart, YouCam and other online and offline programs.

  • Qosmo G40 - built Chicony Webcam incompatible with windows live messenger

I can't have the built-in webcam to work on my brand new G40 - 108 with Windows Live Messenger. I get the following message appears when you try to set up "audio and video setting" the Herald: "Windows cannot connect to this webcam. Close any program that may be using this webcam and restart the wizard."

He connected with technical support from Toshiba, which were also unable to solve the problem. We have tried to disable both webcam at startup apps. If both executed at startup, the chicony software does not work.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'll update this post if I get a resolution on their part.

    Thank you!

    Yes I have a solution.
Remove the old software and the driver for the system.
Go to the Toshiba European page and download the latest software for a chicony and the driver.
Then install on the laptop and enjoy.

Notes; Restart the laptop everytime after reinstalling the driver.

Built-in webcam stopped working, tried and installed the pilot of NEO site with v.3.22, still displays "no device". Help

    Hello

-What is the operating system installed on your computer?
-Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?

You can try to uninstall the drivers of Webcam and also scan for any hardware changes in Device Manager. To uninstall the drivers follow the steps below:

    (a) click Start, type Device Manager in the start search box and press ENTER.

    (b) click continue. The Device Manager dialog box appears.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    (c) in the list of the types of devices , click the device image and then look for the specific device that is not working.

    (d) click right imaging device and then click Properties.

    (e) click on the driver tab.

    (f) click on Uninstall and Ok.

    (g) restart the computer and check if it helps.

Maybe, but unless you see a Bluetooth device in alphabetical order in the Device Manager, it doesn't have Bluetooth.

You can also check the BIOS where it needs to be included if it is present.
