• Need help with a space between the bullet and the text in the list

  I tried to increase the space between my chip and the text in my list. Whenever I have increase the margin left or padding everything moves to the right, but the space between the bullet and the text remains the same.   Add the following style to your css works to increase the space between the chip and the list.  You just need to adjust how px of padding.

• using 3.1 the text line/window - change of placement?

  I'm getting used to 3.1 number compared to numbers 1.0.3, which I have worked for years. Why most upgrades of Apple want to damage?

  In the earlier version, as you type in a cell, what you type appears in a sort of window/line of text just above your worksheet. A great advantage in that, in addition to visibility, is that you have the choice of your data of the edition cell by typing either in the cell or in the window/line of text. My databases are more text than the numbers; the enormous advantage of the text window is you do not need mouse around the actual cell to add or change, and you can see the content on a single line.

  In point 3.1, the same "window" appears, but it's at the bottom of the worksheet. This course, it is much less visible, and there doesn't seem to be changed somehow. This forces you to work every bit of change within the cell.

  Issues related to the:

  1 can you change the placement of this window of text to point 3.1, so that it is at the top?

  2. is there a way to add or modify data without work inside the cell? I can't believe that apple gave to the functionality of this editing window. But then again, it was an 'upgrade '.

  Motivation of apples was more likely to make the numbers on Mac OS X and numbers on iOS have a common interface.  I'm not justify whatever it is just assuming that.  That said, you can post your comments to Apple using the menu item "numbers > provide Feedback numbers" AND you can use the 2.x version number (unless you have uninstalled it).

  Numbers of 2.x is located in the folder "/ Applications/iWork ' 09.

  To add a hyperlink to text, select the text, go to Hyperlink drop-down list in the toolbar at the top, and then type the full link.

  In case you, it's a generic question using the integrated Set_Custom_Property(). If you want to set the property on all the records, use the ALL_ROWS keyword instead of second argument.

  I created an application in responses that combines two areas using a Union All set operation. My goal is to create a report with the same dimensions and two measures of different areas, next to each other. To split the action again (after the Union all puts them under eachother), I added a flag that indicates if the measure came form field 1 or 2 area. And I put above a label as measured in my PivotTable to the indicator.
  
  It works fine, but when I want a total of all the rows in the pivot table, he will just not be the sum in the right way. It shows just the first value found as total, rejecting all of the following values.

  You can actually get align text, but the method to make some features using the majority of people do not know:

• Are there controls formatting of the text in Captivate 7 (Mac)?

  I am very new to Captivate, just downloaded a trial version and I'm trying to format the text.

  • So far, I found that I can control spacing, but not in paragraph spacing.

  I also have some problems with the formatting of bullet:

  • There is a limited choice of characters of the ball - I can't find a way to customize chips, for example by importing an image or using a symbol
  • I can't remove the Indent before the chip and the space between the bullet and the text is fixed
  • The chip is the same color as the text - I can't find a way to have the gray text and orange balls

  Work on a mac, these problems with fleas are important because I found if import Powerpoint slides, the indentation on the balls changes - it is in powerpoint, but false in Captivate, so I really need to find a way to form the reliable text if it is worth persevering with Captivate. Please can anyone suggest alternatives?

  No available spacing of paragraphs. The only way to do this is to add a hard return between paragraphs and then change the size of line spacing or fonts of it.

  You cannot set the spacing before bullets of Captivate is not possible to add your own balls.

  The color of the ball is based on the color of the first character immediately after him. You could have a space after the bullet and change the color of it to change the color of the ball.

  Another option is to not have your text to chips, make a copy of the text box and then manually add bullets to the copied text box. This way you can get rid of the extra space and what you want to change the color of the bullets. (It is not an ideal solution, but it would give you more flexibility if that is what you need.

  I'm having trouble with the text tool in pse 8.

  When I type and I get to where I want to start a new line of text and press the Enter key, instead of starting a new line under the rest of the text as it is supposed to and always, before starting the new line of text directly on top of the text line previous. When I continue typing just starts the line of text overlapping. It's really annoying and I have no idea how to fix! It was working fine earlier today.

  I hope someone knows how to solve this problem.

  Setting the property textStyle.lineHeight to something less than 1.0 is what I expect, except that the last line of the text of the label is cut down. Any ideas how to get around this problem, or if I do something wrong?

  It looks like a bug. As a solution, try adding "\n" at the end of the text.

• Windows 8 cursor jumps in the existing text and continues to type here rather than the finish line that I am on, anyone else spotted the same thing?

  Just upgraded to Windows 7 to 8, using MS Office Word 2010, worked well on Win 7, but now type text and the cursor suddenly jumps into the existing text and continues typing, rather than the finish line that I'm on.  Thought, I was accidentally touched for touch pad or other keys, so now consciously look for this but can find nothing on my part.  Have experienced it before with a processor OS Linux and Open Source, when the OS has been updated.  Think there may be a loophole to WIN 8.  It also happens when keying in the screens like this, that has happened twice while here. Someone else spotted the same thing?  Or is it just me?

  Also, anyone know how to disable "Open Tap" on the Mouse touchpad of the notebook, its annoying, I could disable in WINDOWS 7 but cannot know how Win8.

• How to remove the numbers on blank lines without fully justify above the text?

  I have a problem with my numbering.  I would like to delete the line numbers where there is no text.  But when I back off the line of text without deleting the number, then shift + return to add a paragraph break 'justifies all lines'.  He said that it's always "justify the last line aligned to the left", but is not, and I can't change it back. I tried to manually change the justification, but it is so hard to do with all the paragraphs, and it looks like not equal. I have attached a few screenshots to illustrate my problem.
  
  Anyone know how I can remove the numbers of the lines without text without manually clicking the line line, ranging from 'bullets and numbers' and clicking on 'none' for each line?
  
  Or if I can't do that, do you know how I can stop the above paragraph that justify completely once I deleted the number of rollback?

  This is when I removed by backspacing of the line and then shift + return to add a new line, but her line above is fully justified, and not justified with the last line aligned to the left.

  Return shift is a forced line break, so you now a last blank line, and is the one who remains aligned. ID does exactly what it's supposed to.

  Instead of trying to use blank lines to separate paragraphs you should use space after or front of the space.

  the only way is to convert numbered in the text (select numbered list > ctrl (or right click) > bulleted & numbered lists > convert numbered text).

  Then, with search - replace, you can change the paragraph returns in space (or in space by commas as in your example)

• How do you get the text in the top line of the table to stop forcing text format the same way in the row below.

  I created a table with two rows. I would like the text in the top line is centered and the text in the line below that is aligned to the left. I have no problem when no list (chips) are involved. However, this week, the client has a list of items that have bullets.

  Hi, I need help fast please. I thought it would be easy, but I can't get out and hours of searching online turned up nothing. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place!

  I need align the text on several lines. It's a calendar I design for charity. I'm stuck with letters and numbers. The requested provision is a little like this...

  I need the numbers to be central at the time, if that makes sense? The only way I could do it so far is to write in excel, Center it and then paste it to the Commission in the PS, but due to the size, I work at, I have to resize each month individually, which means they could end up being slightly different and I need them to be perfect. Is it possible that I can do this in PS, I know, I work with the exact sizes on each month?

  It's probably something really simple that I'm missing, but I just can't cope.

  I use CS6 and the font is Century Gothic, if that's any help.
