Buttons-any way easier?

I have a very superficial knowledge when it comes to web (on any software) development. I'm doing a page with rolls of pictures. I have a button for each image. When I click on a button, a corresponding image should appear. I'm new to GoLive. So I do it by putting a new layer for each image and separate layer for each reversal button. The Rollover button, I go to Actions and selectHow to hide a specific layer with the image. But when I click on another button, the previous image does not disappear. It's tidious to hide action for each layer. In other words, if I make a button to display an image, I have go to hide all other images (each on a different layer). My primitive method uses the mouse click > hide action for each separate single layer. This method seems too difficult to do a function button correctly. If I think that there are 50 other buttons like this, I'll have to do 50 instructions of action for every single button.

I don't know there must be more easy way to make buttons to display the images. Please help me on this? I tried to understand this by reading the Help Menu on GoLive, but could not find the right answer.

Basically, you need to have some actions occur at the same time and fortunately GoLive has a special action called an action group that allows you to attach multiple actions to a single mouse event. If you set this action to load when another action "he calls" you can use again and again. Using a single action that hides all your layers of images at once will save you lots of time. Then just change the same action when you add or remove layers of the image. You will not have to change each button, if you change the page.

To create the action that hides all layers at the same time:

Create a head called HideAll Action. In the Action window, you must configure the zones as follows:

Event: OnCall

Actions: Action Group (found in all the promotions of shares)

In the lower part of the window, you can add several actions (ie. the action group). Add an action show/hide for each of your layers of image and put them all to hide.

Now, when you call this action, it will hide all the layers of the image at once.

So for your buttons, for the mouse enter event, add a call Action that calls the Action HideAll group you defined previously and ShowHide action to the correct layer (see the value).

Repeat for all buttons.

If you want all the layers to display when the mouse leaves the button, call the same HideAll action for mouse exit of each button event.

I've added images to the Group of head Action and the action button so you can see what I mean. It is more difficult to describe than to actually do it!
