  It is a push browser message.  Go to the main Messages folder, and then press the BB menu key.  Select view folders and check in the folder browser Messages.  The message should be there.  You can see it, and then delete it.

  Looks like you can have Windows 8 is installed on your computer.

  The 'new' Windows 8 logo is this article from blue window with 'white' pane cross bars - indicating the windows.   Windows is full of pretty small indicators of color to tell you what you're watching, logos, and icons.  Unfortunately, the icons, images and indicators are sometimes tiny or maybe not as explicit as the designer intended.

  You should only worry if the indicator turns into something terrible - that could indicate some sort of nasty infection.  I have heard of 'bugware' change the logos, but I suspect that it is something that is on the list of "Hey, let's panic unsuspecting owner and the ruin of his time".

  If this is not what you are looking for, then please create a "Snip" of what you see, store it as a .jpg file and then post in your response - click on the little "tree" above the Edit Bar in your editing area of 'body '.

  The text under your Firefox on the Windows desktop icon has changed to the CHRC...? I think that you can rename it to whatever you want, but I see no reason for this change on its own.
