Cable magnetic charger without Dock

Hi Sony users, I recently bought cable magnetic charger without Dock of an online shopping portal. It looks like a USB charger, except for the fact that, instead of USB, PIN, it is a magnetic (he doesn't have a Dock). I just want to know if this product is truly from Sony. Because in the Sony Web site, under the "Accessories" section - I could not find this kind of product and the product is entered into the genuine Sony product package.

No, probably not. Sony doesn't sell magnetic cables. Sony only sells magnetic docks.

My phone takes days to pay fees when I charge it with the magnetic charger. Someone knows why? Thank you very much.

To clarify: If you use a charger cable magnetic (not a dock) then it is not a product of Sony, so quality of load will be variable and not of a quality type. Only, Sony has the magnetic DK48 Dock for Z3 series. I baught myself one of those magnetic wires and it charges my phone FASTER than dock regular when it is connected to the same adapter.

Keep in mind that chargong through magnetic Chargers depends on the cleanliness of the charger and the port. All dust, rust or residue on one of them may compromise the load speed.

  • Cable magnetic original sony charger

Hi there, I am looking for a charger cable magnetic sony xperia z3 Compact? I found this model Sony DCU 28 bu I do not know. It's a straight cable for xperia z3 compact. I want a genuine product from Sony.

    Best regards

@z3compactw There is no magnetic original cable. There are only original magnetic docks. What you can do is to pull the cable out of the dock. I know EC21 is a Sony cable but not sold separately, so you can find it in a dock for ultra Z for example (DK 30).

    Yes and no.

  • Mode docking station using the magnetic charge

I noticed that whenever I connect my phoine to a dock, magnetic, my phone is sort of the 'changes' mode. IE im using XHTML, CSS, and every time I connect my Themer phone restarts. It can become particularly irritating sometimes, espeically when it stop what im doing, like games.

Is there an option anywhere to turn off the mode of magnetic charge docking station? I looked everywhere, but no one else seem to be mention or provide all the solutions.

I'm afraid, it is not possible to disable this behavior. It is the application to manage change in the configuration of the device in this case: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/runtime-changes.html

  • I2/I3 magnetic charger compatible with Z3C?

The Thailand just the Z3C this last week and I bought one today.  There is no true "Sony Stores", but I bought in a store licensed to Sony and asked about a magnetic charger, I can see it getting old real quick to keep flipping open the lid of the charger to the USB charger.  They said charger mag Z2 was compatible with the Z3, but not with Z3C.  They don't have one in stock, but are planning to get a few "ARS".

If I2/I3 mag charger is NOT compatible, a mag Z1C charger compatible?

In addition, there is any rubber "bumper" as for iPhones?  I am upgrading to an iPhone4 and really liked having the rubber bumper to protect the phone when he puts on a hard surface, especially if I drag and drop it.  I would have preferred a 'bumper' rather than a 'case', but a case would be Plan B.  Impossible to find all the stores with a compatible box Z3C yet, but I don't know that it won't take long.  BUT... the Z3C rubber bumpers?

DK31 cord has the orientation frames on the pins. If you inspect them closely, they are not identical. You cannot plug it otherwise even when it is used outside of the docking station.

Regarding the cable itself, it is the same cable and Connector for Z1C Z1, Z2, Z2, Z3, Z3C, Z3 Tablet tablet.

    I use it for Z1C, Z1 and Z2 Tablet.

You can just buy DK31, remove the two screws from the bottom, remove the cable and use it for your Z2 and Z3C.

  • Is it safe to use 3rd-party magnetic charger?

I think about to buy the magnetic charger for my Xperia Z2 cable, but I am worried about their quality and their possible damage to the battery from the phone, I am quite satisfied with the performance of the battery, but how will this affect
It? Also, linking to my normal wall charger adapter that I use for magnetic cable usb charging?

Would be great if Sony had cable official magnetic charger except the docks. Thank you, best regards!

    Hello

I used a 3rd party magnetic cable for a few months of battery to recharge my ultra Z and few of my friends use these cables for almost a year now and he has no problem with it.

Yes, as long as the cable is of high quality, then avoid any injury.

However, remember that you would use these cables at your own risk. I just shared my experience.

You changed your answer, and here's the answer to your other hand > Yes, you can plug it into the charger, you got with your Z2 and that everything works perfectly fine.

  • Xperia Z2 orange flashing led when it is connected to the magnetic charge lead

Hey guys. I bought this phone off of a friend. His three months and works very well. But the other night, I accidentally put the magnetic port on the back and the phone is completely dead. I panicked and I tried every possible combination. I finally got a red when I plugged it into the microusb port. He turned in 10 minutes as usual.

Now, whenever I have fix the magnetic cord (correctly) I get a flashing led orange and the unit charge at all.

What is the flashing orange led average? Warranty covers the magnetic port? I hope someone can help me

Hello everyone. I have problems with the magnetic charge on my Z2 port. He simply not to charge the device. He also was heat when he was in charge via USB. Sometimes, it would not even load!

I was trying to just live with it until one day the phone turned off and never started upward for about a day.

I knew at that stage he had no choice but to request an RMA number for these issues.

When I called to tell them my problems, I told them specifically 'THERE IS a PROBLEM WITH THE MAGNETIC PORT', 'THE PHONE REFUSED to LOAD SOMETIMES' and 'THE PHONE HEATS DURING CHARGE'.

The representative on the other end told me several times that he understands the problem and they will be addressed when he arrived at the repair shop.

So, I packed the phone upward and expelled from Ontario (shipping cost me $40) and thinking that once he comes back, it'll work like it should.

    ---

It's where I've never been more wrong.

I'll be back on the phone today and it opens as soon as I could.

First thing I did, is trying to turn it on. Absolutely nothing. No light, no low battery screen, nothing.

So when I got home, I plugged the thing in a USB AC charger. The first 10 minutes, that there was only one red LED and nothing else.

After 10 minutes, I could see the green of the battery on the screen.

Again 5 minutes later, I was able to turn the phone on. He was sitting at 2%.

What makes me believe that the phone was left or COMPLETELY discharged before shipping. These people in repair facilities don't know how harmful it is for a battery to be discharged to comepletely?

    ---

The second and most outrageous of the thing is the main reason for the phone was sent he was not yet fixed!

I tried to plug in the charger magnetic port (with a spare cord, as well as the docking station) and the phone does EXACTLY the same thing!

In fact, it is an exact quote from that work says:

"THE PHONE IS IN CHARGE AND WORKS WELL. "PLEASE SEND TO THE CABLE USB AND CHARGER IF PROBLEM P-<- they="" didn't="" even="" finish="" the="">

"Software update, direct call, past quality control."

I am so totally outraged and disgusted with Sony now.

  • I leave Apple Watch mangetic charger without turning on the card?

Can I leave the Apple Watch mangetic charger without turning on the charger?

When not to wear my watch, I put my Apple Watch on the stand of the watch...

Does magnetic can damage the battery if I let the watch for a long time?

    Hello

Yes, you can leave your watch on the charger without the power connected. The magnet will not damage the battery.

If the power is rather left trendy, Apple Watch cannot be overloaded and again, the battery won't suffer wrong after normal use. Load stops automatically when it is fully charged (and restart as / when required due to the use of the current battery). Follow Apple's safety and handling instructions, and note also that:

-It is not possible to turn the watch off the coast while it is on the charger and connected to the power supply - what is normal.

-It is also normal to watch, adapter sector and charger become hot when it is connected to the power.

  • Magnetic charge Vs Micro-chargement USB

Hi all, I currently have the Xperia Z and love it but looking to upgrade to the Z3

Had a quick google and search the forums, but I can't find the answer.

With the Z3, which is faster to load by the Micro-USB port, or the magnetic charger port?

Assuming that they are both on a wall not not a computer and thus to 2.1 has not 1.

Anyone with a Z3, what is the rough time you also tend to see?

    See you soon!

From my experience, the two ways load almost at the same rate.

Some people report slower loading via magnetic connector, but it seems that it was because of the oxidation/dust/scratches on either the magnetic charger port on the phone.

For my part, I prefer magnetic loading dock, works very well with applications of reverie as timely, so I have an alarm clock virtual beside my bed while you sleep. And of course, do not open the hatch cover to access the micro-USB port.

  • Charging without a computer

    Hello

I use the Clip 2 GB and I have a USB (something like that). However, the Sansa Clip does not charge when I plug it into the usb charger. It seems that she required only when connected to a computer.

Is this a known issue? Can I fix this problem somehow?

    Thank you very much

My hunch is it's the USB charger - I had this as well with a charger without a name.  Chargers vary in their quality, to say the least.

  • Is the magnetic charger for Sony (DK48) compatible with the quick charger (EP881) Sony?

Which is pretty much on the subject. Will I get the results of quick as expected charge if I connect the quick charger (EP881) with the magnetic charger for Sony (DK48)? I am currently using a double Xperia Z3, and even though I looked this up on Google and here, I couldn't get a good answer.

I think having a magnetic charger but my decision depends on if it works with fast Charge or not.

Yes, it will work. It should be the same result that connect the charger directly on your phone.

  • so I have a magnetic charger!

Mainly to save wear on the flap of the usb. But also because the micro usb is extremely difficult to remove without feeling your about to tear off the port. I opted for just a USB rather than on a dock. In any case, I must say that it is the most difficult thing to line up in the world. In the dark? Forget about it! I guess that it works very well on a dock. But the terminals are so small, trying to align them all in the magnet tries to pull it down. I'm doing something wrong? Im just that it is very difficault.

The docking station, if you take it apart, you will find the cable.
