Cache objects VO

Hi team,

I use Jdev 11.1.1.6. I am faced with the following question:

You can choose a selection with 3 options - A, B and C.

When selecting A, I will carry out 3 Vo death as setting link.

The 3 Vo is editable, and once published, the user is supposed to save the data.  On record, we have a programmatic validation that takes place and if the validation is successful, data are saved, otherwise it raises an error and does not validate the database.

Thus, the scenario is - I changes to one of the recordings with A variable binding, that was an incorrect change and tried to save it. Validation has not been passed, where the line is not engaged to db.

However, if I select B and make a few updates in 3 iterators and try to save, as well as new data associated with B, even the above (for which omitted validation) getting record.

Given that the VO is get run with B as a bind variable, I guess that the iterator is run again and the lines are read again.

So I am unable to understand why the invalid line (with bind variable A) getting registered with the other valid update of the lines (with bind variable B), and which will be the solution in this case

Help, please.

Once you have created or modified a line that is part of the transaction. If you fix the error or delete the line or undo the changes, the next time you call commit, it will try to save the line in the comic book.

In your case, you must call rollback when you change the selection vom A to B.

    If/when you upgrade to a version fully supported, it will no longer appear.

  • Cache objects VI shared between 32 and 64 bit?

    I am currently working on a major project that is to be deployed in 32 - bit and 64-bit flavors. This means that I must periodically switch between installed versions of LV to build.

    It * seems * that if I work in 32-bit BT, and then I close and re-open my project in 64-bit BT, that everything needs to recompile... even if I had only changed a few things since the last, I worked in 64-bit.

    It seems that while LV keeps a Cache of objects VI separate for each version of LV, that it does NOT keep a cache separate for 32-bit versions and 64-bit. Is this really the case?

    LabVIEW maintain separate caches for versions 32-bit and 64-bit of the same version, but in the same file. They are separate entries in the objFileDB. Because 32-bit and 64-bit are very different beasts, the project must be recompiled in order to adapt to the new platform every time that you open in a new environment. It is possible to separate the compiled source code code. Research in the other forum posts, this separation likely to cause a higher risk of corruption VI.

  • is a cache server must have knowledge on cached objects

    Hi all:

    I worked on this configuration:

    1. a cache server, which is the instance of DefaultCacheServer consistency, with a certain configuration of twists and turns.
    2. a charger, which reads a csv (or other source of data later) file and generate a list of items pofobject implemented and put them in a card and then put the card in the cache;
    3. an auditor of reading, which is reading the NamedCache created previously and do some game: check the content, add filters, etc..

    Now it works fine, but I noticed a few things:

    -the server must have a pof-config file that contains the classes that implement the PortableObject, and as a result, these classes must be in the classpath of the server as well. If these conditions are not met, the charger will fail to load the objects into the cache.

    What is a ligitimate observation? I mean, the server needs to know the objects it cached? It seems to me that couple deeply the server and applications that use the server.

    In addition, I want to make objects more generic as possible. For example, if a client retrieves the result set from a SQL-based database, we are always trying to save the results cached somehow, even if we don't know about its internal information such as how that many columns or a column of names /types (maybe we can read this info from metadata?). However, we must know the properties of the object (name/type) to properly serialize / deserialize them before loading them in the cache.

    So there is a conflict and how would be solve it?

    the result set can be serialized into a single object (no matter whether serialized with POF or not).

    This unique object can then be cached with an appropriate key. Typical approaches to the formation of such a key creates a composite key that contains the SQL query AND all the SQL parameter values in the order in which they are passed to the class PreparedStatement. Of course the key class must properly implement equals, hashcode, and must also be serializable with the same method (Java or POF Serialization) that is used for the cache service.

    Of course sooner or later, you can invalidate this cache entry, so you can specify a lifetime in putting the result in the cache.

    In addition, you can explicitly invalidate the cache on changes in DB entry, create an index on the SQL attribute in the key or a composite index on the SQL attribute and some settings or just an index on one or more parameters together, to allow you to send an input processor filtered by these indexed attributes, and given the knowledge about what has changed in the database.

    By default, it should have used FIXED unit-calculator. But look at the track seems that your replicated cache used BINARY as unit-calculator.

    Could you try add FIXED in your configuration of cache for the cache to replicate.
    Or try just insert an object (the key and value) that implement binary.

  • TopLink 10.1.3 does support synchronization of cache objects JPA?

    Please forgive me if the answer to my question is obvious, but I have not seen it addressed anywhere in these terms. My organization has a configuration in cluster of OracleAS 10 g R3 with the last group of hotfixes, 10.1.3.5. As you know, Oracle AS 10g R3 includes TopLink and TopLink Essentials/JPA. I understand that TopLink implements mapping non - JPA object-relational and TopLink Essentials/JPA EJB 3.0 / JPA. I also understand that TopLink supports synchronization of cache, but TopLink Essentials/JPA doesn't support synchronization of the cache.

    My question is, the facts above assume that I can not use cache synchronization in an EJB 3.0 / JPA application deployed to OracleAS 10 g R3? Or is the real opposite I can configure and operate for the cache of TopLink-sync in my EJB 3.0 / JPA application? My application does not use the TopLink ORM, or use EJB 2.0 or lower objects.

    If there is no way to use the cache sync in this scenario, then my plans of cluster configuration just got a lot more complicated.

    and restart db.

    but the error comes back alert-journal .

  • Place an object on the coherence cache

    Hi all

    Is there a better way to do the following:

    In a region multi-threaded code, I perform the following sequence of steps:

    1. use a filter to check if foo object is already in the cache.
    2. If the result of the filter set is null, I perform a lock Cache.lock (foo.getUniqueID);
    3. I put the object foo on the cache Cache.put (foo);

    Basically, I try to avoid another thread overwrites the existing cache object.

    Is there a better way to do this?

    cache.invoke(foo.getUniqueID(), new ConditionalPut(filter, foo));
    

    An EntryProcessor aura on a lock implicit button to no other EntryProcessor can run on the same key at the same time. The ConditionalPut will apply the filter specified in the entry (in this case to check that it is not present and if this value is true then will set the specified value.

    I saw a problem when doing the cache.get (object) with the list. Here's my test.

    Key is a list
    Key list = new ArrayList();
    Key.Add ("A");

    cohCache.put (key, 1);

    System.out.println ("Get with Arrays.asList:" + cohCache.get (Arrays.asList ("A")));
    System.out.println ("list:" + cohCache.get (key));
    System.out.println ("list is equal to Arrays.asList:" + Arrays.asList("A").equals (key));

    Actual output:

    Get with Arrays.asList: null
    List is equal to Arrays.asList: true
    Download list: 1

    Expected results:

    Get with Arrays.asList: 1
    List is equal to Arrays.asList: true
    Download list: 1


    Arrays.asList("A") and the key are equal but consistency does not return the value. I thought that, in cache.get (object) consistency returns if object.equals (key) is true.

    Any idea?

    Hi Eric,.

    There is a slight misunderstanding in how you think that the works of coherence.

    For clustered caches Coherence does not return the value of the object key of equals to the key specified when caching, object instead, it returns When serialized forms of the key used to and used to get equal to one another.

    If you use no POF, then most of the time Java serialization is used to serialize the objects of key, and in any case if you don't use of POF, and the name of the serialized object class is in the serialized form.

    Now, the thing is that the key that you put in is a java.util.ArrayList. The key that you have tried to get with is a java.util.Arrays.ArrayList.
    It's two different classes, so the serialized forms that store the name of class implementation (which is true in this case) cannot be the same. So consistency is not going to put initially entrance the key that it uses (the serialized form) is actually different from the original key, so there is no entry for the key used in the get() method, and correctly you get back null.

    On the other hand, the two implementations ArrayList implement equals as defined in AbstractList, requiring not only the types of implementation of lists be the same, they apply just that the relation to the object is also a list, so two lists containing the same elements in the same order are equal as long as equals() on AbstractList is concerned, that's why your equals() check evaluates to true even if the types of implementation are different.

  • Reference to the actual object during extraction to the cache coherence in C++

    Currently I use the copy constructor to get the real object reference. But because of that when whenever for some call wire get object creates a new object in the heap. Because I have a few times I keep this object in the local cache. Is there a way that we can avoid creating new objects in the heap.

    Hi Sura,

    Can you please specify if you want a mutable or immutable object. As you can with a thread earlier, out-of-process consistency puts cached objects return mutable objects immutable return hide in the process. The in-process caches back those unchangeable to prevent changing the return value to appear as if they were made in the cache.

    The boxing_map will return mutable objects, although they use your copy constructor to produce so there is really no performance advantage to use it. A final version is returned it is only because force us the call to the constructor of copy of you restore an unmanaged version.

    Honestly, before the issue of PL/SQL challenge of yesterday, I had no idea how it worked either. It is much a deep internals question - you would probably pick up a post from presentation or very specialized blog get more details (or that you would have to do the research yourself). And even then, it is relatively unlikely that they would go in a lot more detail than the PL/SQL Challenge response has been. Julain Dyke result Cache Internals (PPT) is probably one of the more detailed presentations on the internals of the result cache.

    All of the valid statuses for a result cache object are documented in the entry reference of Oracle database to the view v$ result_cache_objects. Delays second two 10 are controlled by the session level settings and database of the resultcache_timeout undocumented parameter (which, based on this blog by Vladimir Begun has been fixed at 60 seconds in 11.1.0.6 and changed to 11.1.0.7 to 10 seconds.)

  • How to avoid the absences of the Cache?

    Before I explain the problem, it's my current setup.

    -Partitioned/distributed cache
    -JPA annotated classes
    -Support card linked to an oracle database
    -Objects are stored in the POF format
    -C++ extend clients

    When I ask something that does not exist in the cache, the JPA magic forms a query and assembles the object and which stores in the cache.

    However if the query returns no results so consistent returns a lack of cache. Our hierarchy of existing objects may request items that do not exist (this infrastructure is vast and entrenched and changing, it's not an option). This blows near the performance of cache out of the water.

    What I want to do is to intercept a lack of cache and store a null object in the cache on this key (null, it will be 4 bytes of length). Client code can interpret the null as a lack of cache object and everything will work as usual - however the null object is stored in the cache and close performance will return.

    My problem is, as the JPA annotated done any 'magic', I do not get to intercept if the query returns an empty set. I tried both triggers of card and listeners, but as expected they don't called as no result set is generated.

    Does anyone know of a port of entry where I can return an object to consistency in the case of a query that returns an empty set. I also want the option to configure this behavior on a per-cache basis.

    Any help gratefully received.

    If you use 3.6 you can do so by writing a subclass of JpaCacheStore that implements BinaryEntryStore or way more genric (that would be for other people who have asked similar questions recently) would be to write an implementation of BinaryEntryStore that wraps another cache store.

    As you can see it the WrapperBinaryCacheStore takes four parameters cpnstructor (configured in the settings-init)

  • First is the card holder frame
  • Second is the ClassLoader
  • Third is the name of cache
  • Fourth is the XML configuration for the cache store that you want to encapsulate

    If the load method of the wrapped store cache returns null (i.e. nothing in DB corresponds to the key), then instead of returning null, the BinaryEntry is updated with a binary file that represents the null value. Because the corresponding key is now in the cache with a null value, then the cache store is not recalled for the same key.

    Note If you do this, and then later your DB is updated with the values for the keys Traoré were previously null (by something other than consistency) then coherence does not charge them because he is never going to charge for these keys.

    I gave the above code a quick test and it seems to work fine.

    If you are using 3.5 then you can still do it but you must use the coherence incubator common library that has a version of BinaryCacheStore. The code and configuration will be similar but not identical.

  • Connection to the Cache

    Above statement causes the JVM start instance of coherence and provide the object of "cache" to the query. My question is that how to connect from another machine virtual JAVA to the JVM that is running from the cache. I want to connect to the cache running and get the "cache" object (RMI?), not to start another instance of cache in another machine virtual JAVA.

    I am making sense or there at - it a simpler way to look at the operations of consistency?

    How to get it to run two machines virtual Java and in one, your customer, add the property tangosol.coherence.distributed.localstorage = true. This will make a single node run your cache server while the other simply acts as a client.

    This uses UDP for communication (and default multicast). It is best to connect via TCP, which you can do via the service TCP expand - useful if you connect through less reliable networks between data centers, through the internet or C + c++ / .NET. It takes a bit more config but is conceptually similar. Details can be found here .

    I have correctly set up and deploy the object used as a persistence in Oracle coherence unit according to the guide Chapter 6 of tutorial for Oracle coherence 3.5
    Using the RunEmployeeExample script, I had good results. I see that once the cache object is updated, the database table (employees) is also updated accordingly. Here is the result:
