Calendar of Outlook 2007 for blackBerry Smartphones

Trying to electrician synchronize my Storm to Outlook 2007, the calendar will not sync. I get no error message to indicate an error. I tried following the instructions of some "solutions" without success, including the Intellisync folder deletion. Any help?

Also, when I push the lock button on the top, after a few minutes, the screen turns back in my pocket. I can't say that the buttons were pushed, just the touch screen.

Are there any new updates available OS?

Thanks for the help.

I finally found a solution. Here are the steps:

Go to: Options > Advanced Options > default Services/calendar and make sure that your default calendar has not changed.  This seems to happen more frequently with Facebook

Is another option that might work: go into your service books (under "Options > Advanced Options ') and delete all the email addresses with"Cical"after he

I made these two, and making it to where I could update the calendar. BB really needs to seek a patch to take care of this because it took me several hours to find something that worked! I never had this problem with my Palm! Although BB appears to be more stable, I'm not sold on the storm and of course, it's the end of Exchange it for another model.

  • Calendar Outlook 2007 for blackBerry Smartphones

I have a Blackberry Storm using Blackberry Desktop with the latest version.  I use Outlook 2007.  I had no problem syncing up to today.  I put the Office to receive the data from the handset to the Outlook.  It worked fine until today.  As of today, the calendar of the handset data does not transfer to Outlook.  All data in Outlook calendar is deleted, but nothing is added.  This does not happen with addresses, tasks or Notepad.  The only change I made was to change the e-mail account by default from one to the other on the handset.  When the synchronization has failed I went back to the default value of old mail.  That did not help.

This condition is present with my office and personal computers. Suggestions?

The situation has been resolved by contacting Technical Support of Verizon.  I've been instucted to go to 'options', 'advanced options' 'service book' and delete the two files CICAL.  He then sent the and when I did a synchronization, the data transferred correctly.

  • Error on blackBerry Smartphones with calendar synchronization - Outlook 2007 for Nextel Curve 8350i

Since last Monday, I start to have problems of synchronization with Outlook 2007.  I have a Nextel 8350i curve. An Intellisync error message appears saying 'Operation complete unexpectedly.'

It comes to my environment. I do not use BES.  I now have Desktop Manager 4.7 installed (it changed from 5.0 when I started having this error).  I have 2-way sync set up for the calendar only, right now.  And I have a few recurring events in my calendar. I use my work email, which is recognized as a personal email account.

As I said, the problem started last Monday.  After a search through various forums, I tried the following: my BB wiping and restore with backup files.  It does not work.

I tried deleting the calendar databases, wiping the BB and restore with backup files.  It worked for a day.

Then, I uninstalled Desktop Manager 5.0 and installed 4.6.  No difference.

After talking with the technical support of BB, who believes that there is a problem in my computer, I completely cleaned, virus scanned, defragmented, updated, scanned my computer. After all this, Calendar sync worked 3 times before crapping again.

I am at a loss.  My next step would be to create a new connection to my computer. But I doubt that this will fix the problem.

    Any ideas?

  • Calendar of Outlook synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones when accessed through a web portal

Can someone point me in the right direction?  I'm giving one of my Blackberry users the ability to synchronize its calendar of his laptop computer.  He can access his Outlook calendar through a web portal to our secure network.  This software has the capacity or is anyone know what software would do?  I don't see that as an option when you set up the software.  Because Outlook is not really run on his laptop computer

    Thanks in advance.

Well, it isn't really a problem with Outlook.  You seem very friendly.  They access their calendar/tasks and messaging via a web portal as a result of the fire walls, we have in place.

However, I did more research on my own here and found that Blackberry Professional Software offers wireless calendar synchronization and which seems to be a good resolution.

    Hello world

After using a Palm for 10 years, I recently spent a BB Curve 8330 and never looked back.  I'm trying to figure out where my data files etc., contacts, notes and calendar Outlook so I can back up the files.  I know that I can make a backup using BB Desktop Manager, but I'm also curious about where the data files are stored.  I use Windows XP.

    Thank you.

  • Calendar type to create for blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to change the type of calendar when you add a new appointment in the default calendar application? Depending on the calendar, I mean "Default" and "Facebook"? I would like to create more, but I can't find how. And is it possible to use the 'default' one? I tried to go to Options-> advanced-> default Services Options and modify the CICAL but I can't change the value of it, only Facebook is available.

I have the Curve 8530 and the most recent update.

    Thanks in advance!

What I wanted to, that is. I used 3 calendars. By default, Group and Facebook. I added my appointments in 'Group' so I wouldn't add to facebook, but now this 'group' is gone. Let's say I want to add appointments in several groups as 'TV Show', 'Homework' or 'meetings '. Is it possible to create this group without a Plan of data or any email on my Blackberry?

    Hello

Do you have manually created the calendar 'Group' or have you used Blackberry Messenger and were members of a group?

It is difficult to discuss, as the Blackberry was designed for internet and e-mail access. The device default calendar actually serves mainly catch appointments lost of calendars associated with e-mail. What you ask, it's essentially maximum instead of what other users.

I'm not saying that your application is not valid at all. I have an option to create a calendar using your examples of self appointed groups have never seen. I just tried it on a Blackberry 8330 and 9530 which are not connected to a data plan and my 9550 i.e. data enabled. All are on the device OS 5.0.

It's the best answer I can provide.

    Thank you

You can not put MS Office on the BlackBerry.

You CAN install applications for example DocumentsToGo, which includes WordToGo, SheetsToGo and SlidesToGo that will show MS Word documents, Excel and PowerPoint.

An upgrade of the OS 4.5 on your device will include the standard version of the basis for these applications.

What is your operating system: look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.4.xxx '.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9700 Smartphone Sync calendar with Outlook 2007

I recently changed my Bold 9000 Bold 9700 phone. Using the Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37 and on the sp2 of Vista and Outlook 2007. I used to be able to synchronize perfectly ok with my 9000 "BOLD", and since I changed my Bold 9700 phone, he used to synchronize my calendar - as if it ignores the calendar completely. I tried a number of suggestions in this forum, including the removal of the intellisync folder and reset the configuration of the synchronization, hard reset the phone, and nothing works. I'm out of ideas. So if anyone could help it would be much appreciated!

    Hey adharma.

This is exactly why your calendar is not properly synchronized, you should have a 'calendar' and ' calendar all.

Do you have any setup of e-mail accounts on your BlackBerry?  If so I suggest you to send again to the bottom of your service books if you can return a default calendar.

    To send service directories: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

You can also try merge you with calendar entries to try, then get your default calendar again: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

If these two options do not restore your calendar, then I suggest to do a wipe handheld.

One wipe Handheld will remove all data on your BlackBerry, so, create a backup before doing this option *.

  • Sync blackBerry 8130 smartphone calendar with Outlook 2007 problems

I have Sprint 8130... and everything is OK... until now.  I'm used to Active sync (from my old HTC Mogul), DO not software RIM.  When I sync has had a week before, the first time, everything was great (accept for the confusion, I'm still about where the Favorites to explore inet went).  Today, I connected for the second time.  Everything seemed fine, except that now it is more most of my calendar items in Outlook.  They are always in my Pearl, well.

I tried to synchronize the other way, but nothing helped.  Ideas?

So, this does not work, and I found myself on a different board where I found the answer... it's a bug of software known with DM since 12/07.  This happens when you have multiple addresses email set up on your phone.  It can work very well for the weeks/months, then one day it is.  It can happen to anyone is your provider.  RIM has yet to set the sofware issue (unless the Altel.81 fixed it...).  As a result of him having "multiple calendars" and a single rear sync to Outlook.  The only way to solve the problem was as follows:

    (a) make sure Outlook is COMPLETELY up-to-date. Manually enter the calendar items on the BB that no synchronized to Outlook.

    (b) on your BB, look at the calendar > Options > and you will see the different available calendars. Back to the main calendar page and press Menu and you can view the calendars of each e-mail profile. Decide which e-mail profile you want your calendar entries to reside in virtue, and that is your main email address for this.

    (c) go to Options > Advanced > Service books. Highlight on AND remove references to addresses other than your MAIN e-mail address e-mail.

    (d) go to Options > advanced > default Services and make sure that ONLY a primary email you wish to figure in the list.

    (e) now connect your BB to your PC via USB and launch Desktop Manager.

    (f) now with your Outlook completely updated manually, follow these steps:
    1. connect your BB via USB to your PC and Open Desktop Manager on your PC.
    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.
    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. You will not see anything in the left pane. In the right pane will be databases currently on your handheld.
    4. turn highlight on the side right your address book database (OR the calendar of your database), and then click the button CLEAR at the bottom of this screen.
    5. once it is finished, close the window of backup/restore and check the device to ensure that the address book (or calendar) is properly empty.
    6. now, re - sync the contacts (or calendar information) Outlook (or your database) and you should be set to go.

    (g) with all this than complete and your calendar appearing in BB... Remove the battery on your BB (lit) and restart the BB. This should return the Service directories for other e-mail addresses that you had deleted earlier. If you find after an hour they do not return, return service from your provider directories BIS site.

    (h) return to Options > Advanced > default Services and make sure that your email address is always e-mail by default. You want to leave your main display on the screen and save.

I hope that it might help other people.  It comes on all the calendar synchronization issues relating to this question being (except obvious as user problems do not synchronize all appointments).

    Thanks for your time yesterday.

  • Need for blackBerry Smartphones to synchronize with MS Outlook backup the old files

    Hello

I'm kinda stuck with my Blackberry Bold 9700.  He wiped my old entries in the calendar (even though I have "Keep forever" selected in options), but I need the calendar last points because I used it for the follow-up of meetings, events, etc.

Before you reinstall an old backup, copy in Outlook and then re - install my current version is there any how else to get this info on the file backup and in Outlook.  I really want to install a previous version of the backup on my phone because when I do, he never wears on a large number of the phone ringing, settings, etc., and I still need to do to get things to normal.

    Help, please!

(By the way, I use an older version of the device software on my phone (5.0.0.714) because I can't stand display new calendar version.)

If you do want to restore a previous backup schedule, you can - calendar only, nothing else.
