  Hi RIM Forum!

  I recently upgraded to OS6, have the latest Desktop Manager and under Microsoft Outlook 2007 on Windows XP.  Each tme I synch, over calendar information 3 weeks which are NOT anticipated is wiped out.  This is not acceptable because I need to access my calendar to revisit occurrences as far, far back as possible, i.e. Since the beginning of the 2000s.

  I have enough storage on hard drive of my PC, so how can I make sure that my Outlook never deletes calendar events that do not specify want to restore deleted and the second, as far as possible to all my old calendar events?

  Finally, the limitations of memory my 9700 so I know how to get back I should keep my calendar on the RIM device and information?

  I don't take as my fault or does issue so no worries there.

  I'm not an employee of the RIM, I am a user like you.

  The deletion is not fair on Outlook, which two days to feature too. The design intent (I think) is there isn't that one calendar and the PC and the Blackberry have each an exact copy.  Make sense?

  You can restore your archived Outlook calendar items to find appointments lost, or at least most?

  I got my 9500 unlocked local store, and he was initially branded Vodafone. I am currently using MAXIS from MY business to local services such as my carrier, and all with the phone works fine. When I run my power switch phone or activate the browser, vodafone theme/wallpaper appears. So my question is, is anyway to remove the wallpaper / theme vodafone or it is part of the operating system? I'm trying to replace it with the theme of MY MAXIS since I was with MY MAXIS

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3. for Storm/Pearl - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  5. return to the AppWorld. Connect to MyWorld (if there is one) and try again.

  My 9000 "BOLD" was stolen and I did not write the IMEI number. In order to report the theft to the police, it would be very useful to have the IMEI. In fact, I thought that this number has been stored in the backups that I did (using the Desktop Manager). But I couldn't find something like the IMEI number in the files.

  Is there a chance to retrieve the IMEI of some log files? Where should I look?

  Is it possible for RIM retrieve the IMEI when I provide the PIN code? I am a private customer, you are not a business customer and did not the BB via BIS or BES.

  Knowing how much effort of the police will be trying to find your phone (which will be almost NONE), I would just, you switch to another and don't look back.  The chances of getting you back in working order are slim to none.

  Sorry to be so negative, but stolen cell phones are a low priority for most police forces.

  When I had my Palm Zire 72, every time that I synchronize it with my PC it would transfer what I had on my Palm to the calendar and everything I had on the calendar to my PC. I have always used the Outlook calendar.   This problem can be easily supported.

  1. Connect your device using the Desktop Manager and click sync
  2. In the left menu click synchronization under Configuration
  3. Yet once, click button synchronization on the right which will give you option to Select a device Application you want to synchronize
  4. Put the check mark and you will get a prompt to Select a Desktop Application
  5. Highlight the name of the application, and then click the next button
  6. Under The synchronization Option you get Direction of synchronization
  7. Check the radio button with two way sync

  Hi, I hope someone can help me with a problem of synchronization, I have.

  When I synchronize between my office and blackberry lots "BOLD" of the calendar entries to the month that I rejected long are reactivated on my desk and reappear and reminders. For example I have an entry of 17 March 2006 now reappear.

  I tried to delete all the entries in the calendar of my "BOLD" and start again, but nothing helped.

  In the configuration for the Calendar Wizard, you have the possibility to choose the items to synchronize.

  You can select the current, all and a date range, make sure that you choose not to save all events.

  I clear the calendar from device again and check the configuration options.

  I have my work email sync with my blackberry (but has not paid the company through Verizon email).  It has worked very well for email, but for some reason any my calendar will not sync... When I have an appointment on my phone, it will not appear on my work calendar and visa versa...

  Not the redirector redirects only emails, there is no other data unfortunately.

  Tips to identify a wandering calendar notification... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or, with the machine on, remove and reinsert the battery)
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Clean and reload your OS.

• Don't Synchronize calendar Outlook of blackBerry Smartphones

  Updated Desktop Manager v5.0.1.37 and Blackberry v4.5.0.169 last week.  Everything was fine until today, when I tried to sync with the USB cable. Received an error message that had changed my default calendar service.  Dialog box told me to go to Services by default/Options/Advanced Options to change my default calendar service.  However, I had not changed anything!  Off the Blackberry, briefly

  removed the battery and tried again.  This time, all remains synchronized (Outlook address book and memo pad) very well except for the calendar.  Configuration synchronization enabled and they seems to be ok.  Calendar option is checked, and desktop application is Microsoft Outlook. Tried one-way synchronization of device to Outlook and vice versa... didn't work.   Only Outlook calendar not synch.  Help!  Any suggestion would be appreciated?

• Calendar appointments new blackBerry Smartphones Synching

  I have install the desktop software to have 2-way synchronization between Outlook and the calendar. If I add an entry in Outlook, it appears on the device, and if I edit an existing entry on the device, the change appears in Outlook.  These calendar entries appear in a calendar called "Default". There is also another calendar called "Desktop", which has an CICAL service book tied to it, but there is no CICAL for the calendar 'by default'.

  If I add a new appointment on the device, it only will allow him to be added to the "Desktop" calendar, but because it is not one that is being synchronized with Outlook, the appointment are not transferred to Outlook.

  I don't want to change to sysnchronisation wireless since this doesn't seem to work for my default Outlook calendar that is in my local pst file rather than on the exchange server account.

  Any suggestions?

  Hey ddp1,.

  To solve this problem I suggest merge the databases of calendar and then reset the configuration file to synchronize.

  Follow the steps in this article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB19240

  Then go to BlackBerry Desktop Manager and click Organizer and click on reset.  Then re-setup the synchronization.

  Let me know if you encounter any problems.
