  • Delete of the HDR-CX190E

Hi guys, I have a Sony HDR-CX190E and wonder if there is a way to remove images (files) other than to have to make it through the camcorder itself?

I use the software it came with (House PlayMemories) but there seems to be a way to delete files. Even if I tag the option 'Delete imported media files to the device or media' is not yet delete the file once it is important.

However, I am able to go through the menu on the camcorder and remove it from there, but it's really painful to have to do it this way.

Any help would be great. Thank you.

Hi amaru96! It is possible to delete media files using the computer by accessing the folder where they are saved. Once you have opened the file folder, you can then delete the selected files or all of them. It is always recommended to delete data through the options on the camcorder. Apart from the delete option, you can also format the memory card holder to clear all registered in all at once. Here are the steps to remove by using the Format option on the camcorder.

    • Go to the Menu of the camera.

    • Select the installation program or the Toolbox icon.

    • Find and select [Format].

    • This will clear all data Save on the memory card.

  • Hey how can guys, I use a microphone for Sony HDR-PJ410?

What are the external microphones compatible with this camcorder? I asked support Chat and say what they

"You must first connect the external microphone to the microphone of the camera port". Where is the microphone port?

    Hello, jeffrufino!

I'm sure that it is not possible to use an external microphone for Sony HDR-PJ410 doesn't have an external mic port. I looked in the manual for this product from Sony, and I can't find anything on the attachment of an external mic. So, I don't think you can use an external microphone with this camcorder.

    Best regards

  • How to turn off the microphone for sony hdr-pj260v

How to turn off the microphone for sony hdr-pj260v

    Hi dstrakal,

Option to disable the built-in microphone is not available in the camcorder. However, the camcorder has an input jack to connect an external microphone, there are two possible solutions for this:

    1. Connect a microphone with a switch ON / OFF the microphone on the camcorder decision-making. Then, set the switch to the external microphone to the OFF position. This will disable the microphone on the camcorder.

    2. Connect a dummy stereo mini plug to the microphone on the camcorder Jack.

  • Sony HDR XR200 camcorder tips

    Hello friends!

My brother recently bought a Sony HDR XR200 camcorder, I think he uses the hard drive to save

He didn't know how to burn his videos on a DVD, for he and his family can watch using a DVD player.

I ended up contecting his camcorder to my PC, but realized that the images are in AVCHD or something, a file format that I wasn't very familiar with b4.

I had to install the program, which allows the camcorder connect with my PC and allows me to burn DVDs.

I was reading about how some people weren't happy about editing capabilities, when you work with AVCHD.

So, my question is that is that it is something that he should keep it or Exchange it with a different camcorder, which allows to use the Mini DVs

    Thank you!

I'd have a look at the Canon HV40, a HDV camera. Not very taxing on the PC, easy to use, good feature set. BTW, I'm not Hunt.

  • My Sony HDR-CX150 is not connecting to my computer and says prepare... and stays like that

My Sony HDR-CX150 is not connecting to my computer and when I select "USB connection" said preparation... and stay that way for hours without success. Someone can help me.

    Hello Mohammad.
Welcome to the community of Sony.

The camcorder appears above all by establishing the connection with the computer. Depending on the speed of the computer, the time to establish a connection can vary. If the problem is still not resolved, connect the camera to a different USB port on the computer. Additionally, make sure that you use the dedicated, supplied with the camcorder USB cable to connect it to the computer. Alternatively, you can contact our team of technical support for additional troubleshooting steps.

  • Sony HDR-XR520VE - Premiere Pro CS4-not of his

I have a Sony HDR-XR520VE and Premiere Pro CS4 who I take the files from the camcorder (movieformat is *.m2ts), and imported for PP, I can't be on the icon in the project Panel, there are movies and sounds. Then I drag and drop it in the source/trim panel, the sound is missing. But if I take the film of the project Panel and drop directly to the timeline, the two film and the sound is OK. Why missing sound then I drop in the Source/trim panel, and what can I do to solwed this problem?

Use only stereo, not 5.1 or you may need to demux and convert to WAV/PCM 48 KHz/16-bit stereo first.

  • I run a Mac Pro with El Capitan and iMovie 11 will not recognize my camcorder Sony FDR-AX35P 4 K

I run a Mac Pro with El Capitan. iMovie 11 will not recognize my camcorder Sony FDR-AX45P 4 K. He keeps asking connect a camera.

iMovie 11 (version 9) supported cameras include not all models Sony FDR.  iMovie 10 supports a number of FDR-AXxx models however does not list your a see particular: iMovie support cameras - Apple Support

There are a number of problems of running iMovie 11 under El Capitan, particularly with still pictures appears.  (It does not supports video 4K).  I recommend try iMovie 10.1.2 which you should be able to get in for free or may already have in your applications folder.  Although your camera model in particular is still not listed, I would expect it would probably work, and failing that you should be able to read files directly from the SD card if you put in an SD card reader.

While moving recently, I came across my old digital camcorder Sony TRV620E and strips. I thought it would be a good opportunity to transfer the contents of the tape on my Mac I-... It is not as simple as it may seem however. The Mac I will not recognize the camera, which I have connected via an out DV link and a usb connection.

I also downloaded software HomeMemories of Sony, which seems to be as good as a chocolate teapot. In any case, I could not download the content, so I've been in conversation with Sony about it. Bit of a waste of time really, after about 3 months of back and forth emails they say that:

    1. 1. digital Camcorder (DCR-TRV620E) is not compatible with OS El Capitan.
    1. 2 PlayMemories House 3.1.00 or later version is compatible with OS El Capitan.

However, performance is not guaranteed for all computers.

As a result, please try another PC with a different OS.

I don't have access to another PC, only I have a Macbook Pro with exactly the same software as my Mac. They run El Kapitan 10.11.5 and I - Movie10.1.2, HomeMemories 3.1.00.12180 and I also have an old copy of the Toast Titanium 11.

Is it likely that say a DV FireWire or link Thunderbolt will make a difference?  The latest version of the film I is also not compatible with the camera, according to Apple.

This camera needs a Firewire cable.
