Hello
Check with Dell support, their books online, the drivers/firmware, diagnostics and ask in their forums known issues. You probably just need to re - install the camera pilots.

Check with the system manufacturer, their documentation support online and drivers, and
Ask problems known in their forums. BIOS update, chipset low level drivers and the
leading edge device drivers. If there is no version of Windows 8, try the latest Windows 7
versions. Don't forget to ASK for their support and their forums because there are likely to
be known issues.
Need to re - install the latest available camera drivers.

Note the use of Win Key + X and Win Key + W (to go on the Control Panel, Run and parameters
According to needs). Win + D key calls the office and using Win Key active / disable the Office

Translate Windows 7 to Windows 8 methods (there is little difference):
Troubleshoot camera connection
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Troubleshoot-camera-connection-problems
You probably need to reload the drivers of the device and any camera (general control software
included with the drivers and installed at the same time).
Login as an administrator.
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your
System. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address
of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver, and
more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html
To check system drivers manufacturer as replacements and camera manufacturer who are most
current. Control Panel - device - Display Adapter Manager - note the brand and
fill out the template tab of the driver for your card video - double-click - write down the
the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind
certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver
stack.
Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if
3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers you
a.
Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), and then
Site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions.
(Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).
Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT
After each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you install
actually arises. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed
(particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check is to be sure
installed and repeat if necessary.
Repeat BTW to the manufacturers - manufacturers of devices DO WORK DO NOT THEIR SCANNER-
manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

I hope this helps.

Camera does not work with windows 8
Cannot get computer to recognize my Kodak easyshare c190 camera. I installed the easyshare on computer software, easyshare
and the camera worked on the old computer with windows vista.
Any help would be appreciated.
tried to update driver had this message - a section of installation of service in this inf is invalid.
What does that mean?
This usually means that the driver is not compiled for the version of Windows you are using.
One thing you can try is to right click on the installer to EasyShare software, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". It will ask you which version of Windows, it should try to imitate to make it work.

Hi Syed,
Thanks for the reply with the status of the issue.
I suggest you try to install the drivers for Windows 7 in compatibility mode and check if it works for you. I saw this troubleshooting procedure described working for other members of the community.
Step 1: Download the driver for the Webcam from this link of Lenovo.
http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS015018
Step 2: Installing the driver in compatibility mode.
Make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows:

Re: Satellite L300 - camera does not work after upgrade to Win7
As in the subject. Camera does not work after the upgrade to Windows 7. I have tried almost everything found on the Internet. The drivers are installed.
There is no exclamation point in the system.

Hello
What happens when you start the webcam app?
All programs-> Toshiba-> webcamDid you install other 3rd software part as for example the Skype that could access the webcam?
Extra tip: go to BIOS and set it to default, save changes, and then restart the laptop.
Start Skype for example, check the settings in Skype webcam chose correctly. It would be really interesting to know if the other software would be able to use the webcam.
By the way: have you installed Toshiba face recognition? This software use and access the webcam as well
Then sometimes it would be possible that this software could block the webcam and webcam tool could not work -
Satellite A210 (PSAEG) - Microphone does not work on Windows 7 64 bit
Hello, the microphone does not work on windows 7 64-bit, the driver that I use is 64-bit Windows Vsta. The volume is implemented maximum and so is the amplification but no way to make it work with the software assistant camera Skype or toshiba.
Can someone help me?Thank you
Hi Largo09,
Usually, you need to install the webcam driver and sound to get the microphone working. The microphone is a part of webcam
As you wrote, Satellite A210 is not Windows 7 64 bit supported, so the only option you have the Vista 64 bit drivers
In my opinion, you should check if the Microphone is turned on in Windows audio settings. There you can also activate the Microphone Amplifier, which can increase the volume of the microphone.

After the replacement of my iPhone screen 6, front facing camera does not work. The rear camera works fine, but when I switch to selfie cam I saw a still image of what was on the camera back; and on snapchat it simply refuses to move to selfie cam. Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. Once the 'install' process is complete he brought me to the initial configuration for Windows 10 screen, asking me my keyboard and language preference. He would not accept any contact entry. I rebooted it and he went to the advanced configuration where I could use the touch screen to do a complete reset. That has not changed anything. I found the info on the HP website and did a reset of the BIOS. That has not changed anything. I got an OTG cable, but was not able to get a keyboard work. I did, however, get a mouse works and has managed to create a new user and login. However, the touchscreen does not work in Windows. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.
I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs. And with a key USB installed via the OTG cable, I can't launch a mouse at the same time.
It is strange that I have not the problem in the BIOS or advanced startup options. It seems that there is a corruption somewhere, but how do I fix?
Hello Moronihah,
You did a clean install (delete all files and programs) the 2nd time you reinstalled Windows 10?
That's what you need to do first.
Then, you have to go to the HP website and install the drivers on your USB.
Above all, you need to include the Goodix Touch Controller Driver and pilot, allowing Malta G-Sensor.
HP Software and Driver Downloads
You're using a hub 4 ports with your OTG cable? Which will allow you to use the mouse, the keyboard and the entire USB drive.
