Camera of blackBerry Smartphones

My camera stopped working. I try to take pictures and the flash works but is not capture a photo.

I tried turning off the phone and turn it back on. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for your help!

Turn on/off a BlackBerry does very little other than to display a black screen

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • Looking for a video camera app blackBerry smartphones

Well I think I shouldve done a little more research before making this thread, but maybe with luck, someone will understand what I'm talking about in which I can't do too much work.

Basically, I watched a TV show that allowed a person to keep their cell phones in front of them and spread on another cell phone of people.

I have a blackberry storm, but in order for me to record videos of me, I need to have the target in front of me where I don't even know if I am centered correctly etc.

So, as the title that I wonder if such an application exists for Blackberry where you can hold the phone normally and not put it back, and somehow you can see yourself completely when you save yourself.  A bit like a mirror?

Anyone understand what I'm saying? Where do I go to find this video clip and the link? Laughing out loud

    Thank you

Hello, BlackBerry devices and iPhone devices have only one camera, to the opposite side of the screen. This means that you will have to guess where you point to while you save yourself.

Many devices have two cameras, in particular Nokia N series, allowing people to make the video conference and see what they record.
Some older devices like the BlackBerry Curve 8300 have a tiny spherical mirror allowing you to see your reflection it while you save yourself, but it seems that this mirror handy disappeared into the new generation of devices.

I suggest you to... train to point to itself (it's a stupid opinion, but it really works after a few dozen photos). You can also try to stick a little mirror to the back of your storm. It may be a sheet of money as on a candy bar MARCH envelope.

  • Video camera for blackBerry Smartphones

HEY!... Im just got my Blackberry torch 3 weeks ago... and a little new with this... I just noticed yesterday when I turn on the video camera and put the phone in a vertical position, the video camera does NOT cover the entire screen, I mean, there is a black space (a rectangle) between the bottom of the recording and begins the video camera image... IS THIS NORMAL?

If I have correctly undersand your question, this has to with the diamentions of the screen regarding the video scan format.  It's the same as if you took a photo in the horizontal direction, and then look at you changed your phone either oriented vertical. The image would fit is more correctly the format of the screen.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now try the VCR, or play one, once again.

  • Camera of blackBerry Smartphones will not work...

    Hi all

with my new BlackBerry 9800 Torch, I tried to take pictures, but it simply does not work.

I tried every button described in the manual (on the touch screen or button below or the touch of comfort on the right side of the BB), but the BB will not take a picture. I can make videos, but not photos. Just with the "photo" "facial recognition" mode (sorry if this is not correct, I just translated it, my Blackberry speaks German :-)) it can take pictures, but not in automatic mode or another.)

It's just kind of a weird bug or I'm too stupid to work with this device?

    Thanks for your help!

    Emma

    Hi Emma

Just to clarify, your BlackBerry will only take photos in face recognition mode?  When you're in a different mode, what happens exactly?  You get errors or click noise?  Have you tried to remove and reinsert the battery?

    Thank you

    Hello

I tried to move the icons on the home screen and removed the camera icon.  I tried to change the themes, and I can see the camera icon in the themes, but can't get back on the topic I want to use.  I can open the camera using a convenience key, but would like the icon on my home screen.

    Thank you!

Try to reset the theme. Go to Options | Theme. In this screen, it is sufficient to click on the menu button and choose Reset the default theme

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry protect site does not recognize my camera

Afternoon, my blackberry was stolen last night so I went on the blackberry protect site to wipe my data, etc, but the site indicates 'add device '. my camera is not displayed? can someone please? I know that it has been permanently installed on my phone because there always used to tell me that my backup was successful, after having saved and also, it is on my blackberry app world.

The only way to recover data from backup BlackBerry Protect is with a BlackBerry smartphone.  You will need to get another BlackBerry, BlackBerry Protect using your BlackBerry ID login, then download the backup data on your new phone.

    I hope that helps you.
