  Photoshop will work with the 14bpc data in the raw file, don't worry about this. The options that you mention "workflow" and apply to the final rendered file opened in Photoshop (bit depth, color profile, pixel dimensions and the value of the PPI). "16bpc" of Photoshop (15 + 1) is the only option if you need more output 8bpc ACR.

  Well, it's more a matter of seeing if someone else happens to know the answer with the experience. I have been using a Windows machine for 9 years to my work full time. They have recently switched to a Mac. (I'm not just a debate on who is best). I use shortcuts a lot by necessity. I will have several files in the window and work in specific field input contrast. On the Windows machine, I could hold down the ALT key and scroll through the different images with arrows while keeping my edit on the other hand option. Otherwise, you must physically move the mouse to select the image on the left side. I know that you can then press tab to return to these adjustments, but I used to be able to work much faster without the mouse by using the keys ALT and arrow. On Mac, I can't find any equivalent shortcut. I would be very happy that could help him. I think I can assume that other people understand just how important these shortcuts are.  If I am not clear, I can try to explain better.

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Plug - Ins\Elements 8\File Formats

  From the download, you used the 32-bit version and not in the folder named win64 of the raw 6.2 plug-in camera?

  In the photoshop elements 8 under Editor help > about plug-in is there more than one Camera Raw listed?
