  Finally have it running. Seems that the enterprise version of McAfee is blocking the installation of the program. McAfee uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, installed McAfee and now, it's good to go.

• CS4 does not open the NAVE of Nikon D7000 files; Is there a DNC that opens to them?

  Apparently there is no Camera Raw update for new NAVE of Nikon D7000 for CS4 files.

  So I downloaded the Adobe Digital negative converter Verson 6.3.0.79 which is compatible with Camera Raw 5.4 or later.

  Using this DNC, when I do step 1, "select the images to convert" I get the message "no items don't match your search.  It is apparently not files NAVE achievements the D7000.

  Is there an another DNC that will open and convert the D7000 NEF files?

  I just bought the d7000 yesterday and had the same problem with cs4. I downloaded the adobe DNG Converter and selected the whole folder where the raw files (I was unable to select individual images) and it worked fine. He treated the files one by one with the new name (without the pricetag CS5 $ 500 at the moment). The DNG files in bridge and psd. Maybe try to select the folder?  Good luck.

  You cannot uninstall and reinstall Windows media player in Windows vista, because it is integrated inside the operating system.

  This problem occurs because the Windows Media Player library database is corrupted.

• Camera Wizard does not open to download photos (windows xp)

  I'm thrilled to say that the problem seems to be fixed.   According to my follow-up comment last night... the reason why your first proposal (888022) did not fix the problem is that "I had not restarted my computer' after I made the (first) fix you suggested.  After I restarted my computer and my camera to the usb port connect the scanner/camera wizard appears and I now have my photos.   I want to thank you for your help and hope that others can be helped also.

• When opening .doc website link, FF adds .docx file extention & does not open in Word 2010, with incorrect file format error. Pls Help

  I use Firefox v12 to open a hyperlink to a Web site that points to a door MS Word Document to download.

  Then, we are asked to open the file with MS Word (default), which is our installed version of MS Word 2010.

  Firefox then renames the file by adding a .docx file name for example filename.doc.docx. MS Word 2010 opens with the error "invalid file format", which is correct that Firefox has renamed.

  Is there a fix or a workaround for this?

  You can try to delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all the actions file.

• Windows Mail does not open an attachment with a .pdf file extension.

  When clicking on an attachment that ends with .pdf, I get an error message saying that there is no program assigned to this file type and head to "Define the Associations" in the Panel.  The problem I have is that the control panel for the Windows Vista operating system has assigned to this type of file Adobe and I have no way to access a control panel just for Windows Mail independently.  When you set the 'association '?

  Do this first.

  1. download and save the attachment to the office.
  2. right click on the saved file.
  3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
  4. click on: choose [default] program.
  5. Select:
  6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
  7. click on OK.

  This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now. If you still have a problem, then it should take care of it for you.

• NAVE of Windows 8.1 CS5.1 D800 Photoshop file does not open?

  I have recently installed windows 8.1 and so I had to reinstall Photoshop CS5.1. After doing so, I find that Photoshop does not open my NEF in Nikon D800 files. I downloaded and installed the updates of the Windows and Nikon raw file, but files are not yet recognized by CS5.1. Files opened without any problem when I was running Windows 7.

  Any suggestions?

  You need to update is the Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop (ACR). Reinstall Photoshop returns to ACR the retail version.

  You need the latest version of ACR that race under Photoshop CS5, which is ACR 6.7. It was also the first version of ACR to support the D800.

• [Suggestion] Camera button is not open in Pocket Option

  I like the camera dedicated to the opening key (and even shooting) after prolonged pressure, but I thought before opening it might be a code of may which checks if the camera or light sensor is blackened (to be in a Pocket). If it is blackened the camera application does not open. He opened several times for me and I thought it would be an easy way to fix it.

  Another suggestion: the settings and applications of the camera must be available without having to put on a spit. I found ways around it (setting time lock for 10 to 30 minutes) so that I can take HDR shots more easily on a hike or traveling.

  lol, not a trick question... you can access the video camera separately from the Video folder.

  If a battery pull reboot is not to do, you head back to the retailer.

  You need a viewer to view these files - don't know if the Word application on the computer is able to access the files on the cloud - you can either try to save the file in Pages to be accessed in iCloud or store on OneDrive where native Word Viewer will allow you to make

  You can try the procedure if you are using windows vista or 7 below:

  a. Click Start > click Control Panel > click on uninstall a program
  b. click on turn Windows features on or off
  c. click on the Plus sign next to games.
  d. remove a checkmark next to Mahjong Titans.
  e. restart the computer
  f. now return to the same place and put a check mark for this game and restart the computer.

  Thanks for getting back to me.  I tried to download the drivers without result.  Then, I downloaded a trial version of items 14 to whom does not open due to a missing dll file.  I was able to find the dll file and install it and now my 13 elements opens fine. Thanks again for the quick response.

• Lightroom cc 2015 does not open after installation today, 24/04/15

  Today, 24/04/15, downloaded and installed Lightroom cc 2015 on my machine WIN 7 Dell 8300 Desktop.  The icon appears on the desktop, but it does not open.  I find the .exe file and double clicked on it and it opens either.  The list of installed programs shows that Lightroom was installed today, but it does not open.  I am currently in Lightroom 5.x, Photoshop cc 2015 and they always start ok; they have been also updated this afternoon.  Anyone have the same experience and determine what needs to be done to correct the installation?
