Can a Mac 2012 Pro accepts a HD 5 to?

I'm considering buying a Player 5 TB Western Digital Black Hard for my Mac Pro, model mid-2012. I wanted to know if anyone has one of these large disks, and if the Mac Pro accepts such a disk size?

I'm running OS X 10.11.6 on a 3.2 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro mid-2012.

Thank you.

Yes, but you may need to get one of these: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MPRODBKTLG6/

I installed a 6 TB drive in my 2010 Mac Pro using one of these. I don't know if the 5 TB drive would have had a problem with the sled drive standard Apple or not. If you are looking for Mac Pro discussions, you can probably find previous discussions of what changes in big readers cause the standard hardware does not work.
