  Hi all

  I have a problem with the CF 1 logical unit number which can be seen as a device through several paths on all 10 hosts in a cluster, but it appear as a data store VMFS on 6 of the hosts. Other LUNS of the same Bay appear correctly on all hosts. 10 guests see the LUN with the same LUN ID and all hosts are identical regarding the version of ESXi (5.0 Update 2), HBA and firmware models.

  On the 4 hosts who can see the device but not the VMFS data store, it seems that he sees the LUN as a snapshot: 'list of snapshot storage vmfs esxcli' translates into:

  The UUID VMFS above matches the UUID VMFS seen on 6 guests who can see the VMFS data store.

  When I try to use 'Add storage', the device appears with a lambel VMFS: LUN101_SAS2(head). I don't know why (head) was added to the label of VMFS. Oscreen n the following signature to keep 'existing' and "Assign a new signature" options are grayed out. The only option is "Disc Format. I need to keep the existing signature because it run virtual machines that have their files .vmx and hard on this LUN.

  Would the fact that I have virtual machines running on this LUN, I cannot choose the option to "keep the existing signature?

  I need to Storage vMotion these virtual machines to a different LUN before I add the VMFS datastore to 4 guests?

  in AS3, all child objects can have only a single object parent. which means that the last place you add an object as a child, the new parent is the object that calls the addChild() method. important if the number of objects summon the addChild() on a single instance method, the last object that called the method will be the child object to himself.

  wats that past in your code is the MidSub container is the last caller of the of the object that you are adding, and consequently addChild() method, the final parent. you will need to create new instances of object to add it in several places. hope that things cleared up. Good luck!

  I sympathize with your feeling about MS EXCEL, but ultimately, LiveCycle (and the complex needs of coding) are the only way to provide solutions that cannot be ruined by other people.

  I always struggle with 'for' loops - they are not nearly as intuitive that 'if, else' built BUT mastering all the two of these buildings gives you 95% of the functionality you could out EXCEL.

  Articles/examples of BRINKMAN (google page break) and NIALL (google ensure dynamic) helped a lot to improve my command of LiveCycle Designer.

  I have ESXi 5.0 GA (469512) and 3 LUNS mapped to clariion cx4-120. All LUNS VMFS 5.54 partitioned by that host (I assume that LUN have been partitioned exactly this host because no ESXi host had access to these LUNS previously).

  Recently, these LUNS have been mapped to 3 5.5u3 ESXi hosts. But these new hosts can see only 2 volumes VMFS, not 3d, but 3d LUN is accessible to guests 5.5 and I cannot add new data store by formatting this LUN.

  Can someone tell me what is the problem?

  • To turn up the volume without making a this volume resignaturing (this volume is mounted when the ESX host is restarted), run this command:

  # esxcfg - volume - M VMFS_UUID | label

  Yes, if you install 2nd disk after formatting it will appear as another drive in 'My computer' and you can move files to free up space on your primary drive.

  In addition, you can install the new drive, clone the old drive him (several disks are delivered with the software or you can download it from the Web site of the manufacture) and then delete the old drive... just a matter of what you prefer, option 1 is easier.

  Keep in mind there are two types of hard drives: EIDE (or "parallel ata") is the oldest type, the cable is 40 pins of a connector that is about 3 inches wide. Newer drives are SATA ("Serial ATA") with a connector 4 pins which is about 0.75 inches wide. On the top of my head I do not remember if Dell Dim 8200 SATA or not, but I think.   My warranty is faster and although I like this laptop very well (it is well built and solid and a good size and weight), I want it to be usable in the context of Windows 10 and as a more practical machine (i.e.: not just to watch videos and play games of the app).  Then I'll add some memory and want to increase the SSD.

  I know that I can only increase the memory up to 8 GB (single location).  Which is absolute?  I can't go 16Gb?  I also know that it is possible to get a 128 GB SSD (LITEONIT) HP, but that, once - again has the HP partition on it which swallows about 20 GB or more.  Is the motherboard or BIOS limit how large an mSATA SSD drie I might add?  That would mean no partition HP and a clan 10 Windows Installer (using the license of the Pavilion x 2).  I realize that's NOT what HP wants.  But given that the guarantee will be more, I don't see what difference it makes.  It's cheaper for me to upgrade this ntebook me that in order to pay for a new laptop, which frankly, doesn't have the features that are so new as to make itworth my time to change machine.

  If anyone with technical knowledge can answer these questions for me, I would be grateful.  I want to kow how I can add a disk mSATA SSD memory and what size I will add to my Pavilion x 2?

  I can see how one might think I would say that. However, change of RAM and SSD do not negate your warranty. I must however advise you (which seems you already know, but it must be said) that damage as a direct result of this is not covered by HP.

  Also, for future reference you can find all the information upgrade, especially if it uses the memory of the UMA in the service guide to laptops that can easily lie on your devices support page. The best way to find it is with a simple Google search of "Pavilion 11-h110ca x 2 Service Guide". I went ahead and find it for you: PC HP Pavilion 11 x 2 - Maintenance and Service of Guide.

  You will see also on your support page of products that it says clearly it uses the built-in memory and therefor cannot be upgraded.

  However, the DSS is a SATA m2. The service guide will be one listing of player list for readers used in this series of portable include a 64 GB and 128 GB SSD SATA m2. (Yes, it seems to be a typo in the service guide indicating 64 MB and 128 MB, I have already taken the lead and reported.) There is no 'maximum size' like any other computer. Special circumstances are that a drive over 2 TB must be initialized using the GUID partition table (GPT) partitioning schΘma. He must also use UEFI and BIOS not.

  In addition, if you intend to use the HP drive recovery media must be the same size or larger. A smaller drive won't be partitioned correctly and may fail.   This isn't how it's done.  There is such a file, but customizing the send option in the context menu is a little more complicated that just add entries to this file.  Here is the procedure:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67599-send-context-menu.html.  In fact, if you are interested in adding move to a folder or a copy of a folder specifically, the following article may be also useful: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/89196-context-menu-add-copy-folder-move-folder.html (even if it would be any folder and you need browse and select which one you want may not be exactly what you're looking for (although know it may be something you also want to add) but the first article will include the ability to add a folder of) specciic to send it to the menu as well as other programs and just about anything you want).

  Also another clue.  The contextual menu has more options you see when you right click on an element to access.  Try to hold the SHIFT key when right-clicking on an item and you will see an expanded list of options that can include something that willl help you.  It does not the question asked you (the first link above did that), but it is linked and I thought that I have it add in case you weren't aware, and where it is very convenient at a given time.

  I hope this helps (I'm sure it will).  A suggestion - be careful how you add to the context menu.  Not that it has a limit or something like that, but add the more you more it will be difficult to find whatever it is you are really looking for.  It is easy to get carried away and end up with a menu that is so crowded it defeats the purpose to save time with shortcuts.  Try only to add the options that you use often enough that the feature will really help you.
