  Thank you for your answer! I was able to install adobe cs4 without opening the file after all. I followed solution 6 on the adobe forums page you suggested above (adobe customer service offers I do solution 1 and 6 and since I could not with solution 1, I did solution 6) then quit all programs and restart the computer. I then leave all the start up programs and tried to install again and it worked (the program has been completely uninstalled before that I did). Thank you :-)

  If you select that right click menu context then you block all images from this area and not a specific image, so do not use that.

  • Check exceptions in tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions (for example sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net)

  You can use the following steps to check if the images are blocked:

  • Open the web page that has the missing images in a browser tab.
  • Click the site favicon (How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure?) on the left end of the address bar.
  • Click on the "More information" button to open the "Page Info" with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media of the window tab "tools > Page Info.
  • Select the first link of the image and scroll down through the list with the arrow down.
  • If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

• I can't transfer my profile to a new computer.

  The new computer is a Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 running Windows 8.

  In case you have only copied the profile folder and not the profiles.ini then Firefox doesn't find this profile and keep creating or using the last profile created by default.

  It is best to copy only the data you need from the old profile to the current profile and reinstall the extension and make other customizations once again.

• Cannot open a new tab using the little + or ctrl-t, tried before it options displayed, can anyone help?

  For the last week or two, I was not able to open a new tab, looked through many of the solutions here but none seems to have worked, I disabled all add ons in the area add Manager and removed the ASK toolbar and still impossible to open a new tab, it becomes very frustrating!

  This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  Have you tried the following:

  • Launch Photos manually once you connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  • Enter the ⌥⌘S tomato (command-option-S) key combination the sidebar visible.
  • Click on the camera in the sidebar when it appears.

  Your iPhone shows in iTunes or in the Image Capture?

  If iPhone doesn't appear at all, make sure it is properly loaded and unlocked, disconnecting, take a new photo, then reconnect it.

  • Start iTunes and confirm that you agree with the mac, the prompt on the iPhone.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Try to force reboot the iPhone.

  I currently play a game called EVE. in the game have a third-market business. so, I work with investors and investments. and I want to make a program so that I can have all my clients organized. where can I get a profile and inside profile I can see how this person has invested and then get this amount and easily multiply the amount by a percentage determined! so I know how much I owe them later. When I create this profile, the program records in a document text inside an external file, essentially a database of eyelashes have a complete description of the program below.

  This program is a database where I can create a new profile for a customer and give them a unique ID that they can then use to access their placement information. Once they have a new profile with the ID you can enter in the details (IE. Name, Email, ect...) and the amount of money they have invested. with this program, you can get the money, they invested and multiply it by a certain percentage. For example, they invest $1,000 and I promised them 20% in the result. I can enter the current amount within the program, and the promised percentage of input and get the total amount due. Also somewhere on the window will ideally be a small pane, where I can see the total amount invested. (ie. If threehundred people have invested $1000 each, so it adds up the quantity and gives it to me in this window). For ease of finding people, there will be a search bar, you can enter an ID when you enter the ID he can quickly send you to the profile corresponding to the identifier.
  The mechanics:
  When I create a new profile, the program saves a .txt file with all the information I put in the profile and stores it in an external database file. The name of the .txt file would be named after the ID of the corresponding profile, for ease of access.
  Options:
  If possible, I would like to have a button update when someone else (my colleague) press update and it updates its database with the new profiles and edited profiles. This can be done in any way possible, I just need the program to be able to update correctly.

  Trash this stage and re - register. It could be that new file dialog tries to assign a document profile that is damaged or is no longer present on your system. If this does not work, reset the Photoshop preferences. Press ctrl + alt + shift at the launch, confirm with the dialog box that appears if you did it correctly.

  Make sure to save all your other actions, brushes and so on first!

  Shares usually work between different versions, but if certain parameters have changed they may fail right there.

  It is my understanding that when printing in Photoshop, with "Proof", selected in color management and "Photoshop manages color" under color management, Photoshop performs color conversions on output 2.

  The first is the "Proof" profile (which purposes commercial impression, describes the State of the press), based on the color settings. Then it is in turn converted to RGB ink jet printer profile.

  With this final conversion, it changes depending on the format of test (paper, ink, black) options in the dialog box print in Photoshop. If none is selected, Relative, active PCBS Colorimetry. If the black ink is checked, Colorimetry Relative, disabled PCBS. If the color of the paper is checked, absolute Colorimetry.

  Maybe these correlations are known, but they were certainly new to me. What this means is, if you have a lot of trouble with printing interface, you could do the necessary conversions manually and send RGB not calibrated to the printer. Not an efficient workflow but will work if you are in a bind.

  There is more discussion on this subject (and opinions) that Carter has pills and I have read many of them... but I'm still confused and since I was less than 7 hours to solve this problem, I'm crying out for more help.

  2nd... This is a simple corporate Head-shot that is produced in a print magazine with an article written by my client.

  3rd... The Publisher asked for the photo to be in CMYK mode and since this editor is in the USA, my assumption at this late date is that the standard CMYK color profile - U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 produced by Photoshop is enough.

  I can be on the right track now, but I'm completely side stepping of Lightroom for all editing and staying in Photoshop in Adobe RGB (1998)

  At this time, when I click on view and choose a PROOF, CMYK is selected.  I don't know if it's accurate, or if the selection is premature.

  I plan to complete my edits in PS and then click on IMAGE, click MODE and choose CMYK.           Currently, for my editing process, it is set to RGB

  Hopefully save them as CMYK will be available after changing the MODE, but my save as feature currently available, available only ADOBE RGB (1998).  Also save a copy and a box to include diapers or not.

  Yesterday, when working on this folder, I clicked on the EVIDENCE and CMYK, but I didn't see any difference in the editing...  It maybe because I exported a ProPhoto since Lightroom file as a basis to begin by... I'm not sure, though.

  My concern is as follows... yesterday, I have saved in a CMYK file and it looked fine on my monitor.  I sent it to the customer (I chose the JPG extension) and when she had, the colors were OFF.  She sent the files back to me, and they were indeed average off...  He told me that it was not a matter of calibration of monitor between his PC and mine.   Which brings me to the last question... my monitor is calibrated "to eye" to a company of printer that I use for my regular photography - which worked great!    And unfortunately, at this late date, I can't get a profile of the printer of the editor.

  There are a number of potential problems here, and it may not be at your end.

  First of all, it should be clear that CMYK is not so much a generic "image mode" because it is a description of the specific press conditions. If you produce final CMYK, you need to have the right profile. Do not use Image > Mode, use Convert to Profile.

  Given that, I wonder anyone who does not accept the Adobe RGB photographs for a magazine article, because it involves a process that doesn't is not correctly color generally not up to date and not managed. A typical workflow would today use InDesign, where images are usually placed in their original space of RGB whatever that is. Then the final conversion output CMYK is made as the last step, when you generate a ready PDF to InDesign.

  It helps if you know the final CMYK, because then you can the evidence for that so your file survives the CMYK conversion with the least possible damage (we're talking range cut here, not general color moves). But it is not absolutely necessary, that is why this workflow is relaitively safe.

  Thirdly, CMYK jpeg is itself risky, because several decoders of jpeg (in some software) is not a proper CMYK support. The result can be weird colors. This could well be the problem here, because it sounds as if your customer uses a non-standard workflow.

  So what to do? I would send two files. A sRGB as a reference, which is guaranteed to come out correctly. Then find a way to send TIFF to CMYK version if they insist, or ask them to try to open it in different software. Of course , you should have a calibrated and profiled monitor, but I agree this is probably not the immediate problem here. There is no particular reason that a CMYK file should return to the colors twisted if he opened and processed in color management software correctly.
