  • Right-click DeptEmp.jsf and select run from the context menu

    Hello

Please consider article Oracle Magazine "Catch Me If You Can ' Frank Nimphius
    at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2013/13-mar/o23adf-1897193.html

In the article, it is offered several times to
«... Right-click DeptEmp.jsf and select run from the context menu...'.»
When you use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 it will result in JDeveloper starting a browser requesting a URL "/ faces/DeptEmp" (without ".jsf").
(Note that in the sample adfc - config.xml has a view with the id "DeptEmp" activity, but for pages without an activity view corresponding to the stream of unrelated task (adfc-config.) (Xml) JDeveloper starts a browser requesting a "/ faces/otherPage.jsf" URL (with ".jsf").)

Still, I wonder if we should really run (JSF) pages, or rather an activity view in the flow of a task?

After running into issues with calling (JSF) page URL rather than controller unbounded ADF task flows view activity URL in another forum thread [1], I try to avoid pages (JSF) (execution of the task-flow unlimited instead) running.

But also the Oracle documentation seems to suggest that page running a (JSF) is the way to go (or "a" way to go), see the section "41.2.1 how to run an Application in Integrated WebLogic Server "
saying: ""in the navigation Application, select the project, a task flows, JSF page or file as the target execution. ".

So, who is? Is there a preferred way to run? Running a (JSF) page "also recommended"?

    Hello

Still, I wonder if we should really run (JSF) pages, or rather an activity view in the flow of a task?

The recommendation is to run the activity. I think it's just my laziness to boot from the JSF file in the case of the article (and given my article only has a single page in the workflow unlimited I wonder if my attempt failed, if there was a need for a navigation to another view in the flow of unlimited work). The risk from a page directly, it is a physical implementation of a view that could be used by multiple streams of different tasks (although the common use of the stubborn workflow is to go with fragments of the page, always bounded task flows could be defined using complete documents). His recommendation that you start an activity to view pages in order to ensure the ADFc is used (I wasn't even not aware of 11.2.3 to automatically change request activity instead of the file if there is an activity of referencing).

  • How to add commands to the context menu for the types of files (add associations)?

I would like to download anime and re - encode standard dvd (mpeg2) format before you burn it to a DVD for better quality.  I have a program suite that supports the grunt work, but to do a contextual menu command that calls the original batch file that the user must manually add it to the menu of context by file association.  I found that I can access the menus of file associations, but the option to add a new association with an existing file type does not seem to exist.  Is there a registry entry, I need to change or add to allow me to customize my context menus in Windows 7?

Create a text file (make sure you have the framework where you DO NOT hide known file extensions unmarked)

Change the new text file... Copy the following: [quote]

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WMP11. AssocFile.AVI\shell\Queue for encoding]
    @= "& Queue for encoding.

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WMP11. AssocFile.AVI\shell\Queue for Encoding\command]
    "@="c:\\dvdstudio\\scripts\\Queue.bat \"%1\"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WMP11. AssocFile.MP4\shell\Queue for encoding]
    @= "& Queue for encoding.

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WMP11. AssocFile.MP4\shell\Queue for Encoding\command]
    "@="c:\\dvdstudio\\scripts\\Queue.bat \"%1\"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CCCP. WMP. AssocFile.MKV.1\shell\Queue for encoding]
    @= "& Queue for encoding.

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CCCP. WMP. AssocFile.MKV.1\shell\Queue for Encoding\command]
    "@="c:\\dvdstudio\\scripts\\Queue.bat \"%1\"

    [/ quote]

Save the text file..., rename the text file with the .reg extension

Double-click the new registry file to add the context menu commands to your registry... everything is done! :)

And thank you very much, BluePlateSpecial!

  • How can I make reference to a context menu in 2010?

I try to use a context menu to change the values in a tree control in LabVIEW 2010 and can not find a way to refer to this menu for the "Set Menu Item Info" feature. I wish I could 'grayed out' of the menu items based on the data selected in the tree control. Thank you.

Oops, never mind. It turns out that I was looking for in the event of incorrect menu for reference.

  • How can I catch the focus event context menu?

I would like to indicate when the development of a context menu is placed in the order of the day, to make the feature: from the first to the last menu item when the focus moves in the direction upwards and from the last to the first element in the direction down. Is this possible? I can't extend to the ContextMenu class cause that's final. Is there another solution? Thank you!

The only solution is to implement your own mechanism of menu from scratch. And declare your own interface, say MenuItemSelectionChangedListener.

Listeners will record on your menu and receive notifications when the focus of the menu has been changed.

Unfortunately, there is no standard functionality in the RIM API that does this.

  • How can I add app to the main menu of the AppleTV?

    Hello

Our YouTube app icon disappeared from the main Menu of our AppleTV (software version 6.2.1) a few months ago.

It seems to coincide with an update software and thought that Apple didn't guarantee the rights or something to use the YouTube link, but we noticed from the icon of the application on other AppleTV.

Anyone know how I can add the icon back to the main menu?

We went to the settings area to see if we could "show" the icon but is not listed:
