  The lock symbol means that the folder is private and not shared with others on the network.  It is normal (you should have a lock on it).

  You can change the display name of your account by doing this:
  1 - type accounts in the start menu, and then click the user accounts link that appears.
  2 - Click on the link of the option to change your user name and save the changes.
  This will change the name on the login screen (welcome screen) and the Start Menu.  It will not change the name of the folder, however.  This is because the file is related to your account in a large number (hundreds, thousands) places and change the folder name will make your unusable account.
  The only way to change the name of the folder is to create a new account, move your files on this account, and then delete the old account.

  Unfortunately, you cannot change the name of the folder "C:\Users\(user-name). Instead, you can create a new account with a name of your choice, then copy all the contents of your old user of the "C:\Users\(user-name") records of user accounts in the new account user records matching "C:\Users\(user-name). After that everything checks out ok, you can then delete the old account go into a new.
