Can use something like this HERE, or HERE, but it would be better to put a map, where you will have a better choice of connectors. I that you intend to use the HDMI, then you will need a something similar to what I proposed to make it work.

Yes, you can connect two monitors to a PC Tower... but your PC should have several outputs that are concomitant supported and your monitors must have matching entries to make it work. If your system does not support multiple and simultaneous outputs there are other options to solve this problem.

  • Need help to connect the monitor to Dell Inspiron Dell

I recently bought a laptop computer Inspiron 17R in order to reduce the use of my laptop Precision M6600. A Dell U2312HM monitor has been used precisely as a second monitor and I want to use with the Inspiron system newly acquired as a second monitor. The different video ports on both of these computers and I failed to get the monitor to work with the Inspiron. While the accuracy using an older VGA connection, the new Inspiron using a HDMI connection. To further complicate the issue, the monitor has several ports to connect to a source of video output, which includes the DisplayPort, DVI, VGA and ports for USB connections upstream and downstream, but not including HDMI. I used a DisplayPort to HDMI Cable adapter trying to to connect the Inspiron to the monitor, but could not produce an image on the screen of the monitor. This continuous monitor to answer correctly when it is attached to the precision via the VGA cable & port so I'm confused as to why I had no luck by attaching the monitor to the new system with the adapter DisplayPort to HDMI. How can the Inspiron 17R be connected to the monitor Dell U2312HM?

  • Dell XPS 8500 with 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 - how to connect two monitors or?

Hi, I got my Dell XPS 8500 today with the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570.

Before buying the office, I read online that the AMD Radeon HD 7570 supports Eyefinity.   Eyefinity is supposed to be capable of supporting 4 monitors using the HD 7570 map by the description here: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7570/Pages/radeon-7570.aspx#2

When you look at the photos of the Dell XPS 8500 online I thought that Eyefinity support was to use a display in addition to the DVI port Port.   Specifically, I thought that a monitor has been supported by DVI monitors while 4 thru two supported using an active connection to the view port using a product like the DisplayPort Accell UltraAV K087B-005 / 3 x multi-monitor DVI - D single-link adapter.

To my surprise the graphics card came with an HDMI port, not a display port and I believe that HDMI port is a connection from one to the other, and not one of many display connection.   Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this point.   But if I'm not wrong then, this would imply that, at most, the Dell XPS 8500 with the AMD Radeon HD card 7570 can support up to only 2 monitors (one DVI port) and the other HDMI port instead of 4 monitors as described on the above link.

Others would agree with this statement?

Note that the Dell XPS 8500 also has a VGA connector on it but I tested it using a monitor on VGA and a monitor on the DVI connection and the computer that reported as an invalid monitor config.   Probably because the VGA and DVI connections are originally the same video display as connect two monitors to display even has no logical sense.

I have not tested the HDMI port for the second monitor again mainly because I don't have a spare HDMI cable on site at the present time.   I'll probably buy one tomorrow unless I see the comments of my post, specifying that a second monitor can be moved through the HDMI port on the AMD Radeon HD 7570 map...   I'd be surprised if that were the case (1 monitor system would be quite restrictive), but it is difficult to say with certainty, because the VGA and DVI connections at the same time have been marked by the computer as an invalid configuration...

Any thoughts on the different ways to configure multiple monitors with the XPS 8500 and the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7500 is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Doug

If the card is not a display port is not an eyefinity card and cannot stand 3 monitors... it will be 2 monitors, no problem... I couldn't find anywhere on the site of Dell, where he says that the card was eyefinity... If you want 3 assumption of monitors you can buy a video card that supports.

    Hello

Is it possible to connect two monitors the Tecra M5? Is it possible through the port replicator, perhaps by a split of dvi output or a dvi, one on the vga monitor. I want to divide between the two monitors.

    At soon now

    Hello

No, it's not possible to connect two external monitors.
If you want to split the screen, you can use the extended desktop option.
In display properties, you will find the option to extend my desktop on this monitor. You must select the second monitor and activate this option.

    1. do I need 2 x HDMI monitors? A DP HDMI monitor to use with different socket or adapter as well?  If you do not already have the monitors, I definitel would get both of them with HDMI connectors.  You will need a DP to HDMI connector:

  • Satellite L850 - is possible to connect two monitors external simultaneosly

Hi, I have a L850-150 and I would like to know if it is possible to connect two monitors external simultaneosly, one by Hdmi and the second by Vga to enjoy an installation of three active screens (including the laptop screen). Im trying to figure out how to do without using a USB to adapter vfga or a Matrox dualhead2go.

I want to use the outputs existing.
    Thanks in advance

Some laptops supports a dual output: for example the Qosmio X 500 as shown here:

But for Satellite L850 this isn t possible.

  • How can I connect another monitor to compaq SG3 because there is only 1 VGA port and no HDMI.

How can I connect another monitor to compaq SG3 series because there is only 1 VGA port at the back and there is no HDMI port.  The operating system is Windows 7. I think to buy vga splitter, I don't know if that will allow me to move images/data between the monitors. Please tell us what to do. Thank you

    It is based on the expected results.  A VGA splitter will give you two monitors but they will display the same image.  If the expected result is two different pictures, maybe something like this will do;

I would like to connect two monitors to this laptop. The laptop has: 1-HDMI; 1 VGA.

This seems to be a slam dunk, it's not. They put the VGA and HDMI so close together that I can't connect both at the same time. It's as if they force the VGA or HDMI. I am a general contractor and need two monitors if possible. I look at work photos on an all in utiizing a drawing program to produce plans of work on another.  There are 1/4 "between the VGA and HDMI imput plugs I would have been Golden, but they did not. • Need a graphics card to connect two monitors.

Is AMD CrossfireX and Nvidia SLI is the only way to connect two VGA?

    Original title: graphics card...

It is not no need SLI or XFire to connect two monitors. SLI and XFire are mainly to
improve performance by connecting the two cards together.
SLI, to have the same model of card when you use Nvidia IE - two GTX560ti, but apparently, you can use different templates with XFire as long as they use the same gpu (it's because they sometimes "re-brand" a gpu a series on a new map in the following series).

You can connect two monitors to a card and run games on two monitors, but the seam in the
Middle is a problem, so it is really best to go three monitors or a larger screen.
You can also run a game on one monitor and have something to open on the other.
This can also be done with two cards of different model that are not related (Nvidia or ATI).
or your integrated graphics, if you and a single graphics card.
You can also use both outputs of an integrated graphics card to perform the duties of Office Basic
    two monitors.

To use a combination of graphics card integrated on my machine, I have to set the graphic option and dedicated North Bridge in the BIOS to "Onboard" or the integrated graphics card will not work.
Also, when you use a single monitor I have to choose one or the other in the BIOS as only won't work
at the same time when you use a single monitor.  It may be different on your system.

There are different ways to use two monitors and the Setup is different between Nvidia and ATI.
I've only played with Nvidia, ATI and Intel HD4000 options, so cannot really elaborate on
    the installation options.
It is probably better to play with the settings of your cards some time control panel to
get an idea of what is what and try again forum of the mfg graphics card for more details.

  • Dell Inspiron i660s can't find any SATA after Windows Update

This problem is still not solved - I had to take a step back and wait until I had the time.  After a Windows Update (may 2014), my Dell Inspiron i660s computer rebooted to a black screen with the error "no SATA was found.

The "you have updates" popped up, I said 'OK' (no set to automatic).  The Dell ran W8 - had not allowed the update to 8.1 of the trial.  When updates completed, I was given an on-screen "needs to restart" and enabled - restarts, the screen was black and said that no SATA has been found.  After running diagnostics, the system is all good - except that it found no hard drive.  Dell does not have a bootable CD, but because the computer does not start again - it has no option to restore.

I removed the unit of hard drive as suggested on the Dell site and then replaced.  Still nothing, same error. During this time, I have a SATA enclosure for the drive, I asked the origin and all my files are there and the hard drive reads just fine (I'm not yet willing to lose these files) - I could get this fatal Windows update log - can - she help?  So the hard drive is not dead - what should I do to get the computer to recognize?

    Hi PamNana

The best would be to contact Dell regarding the same. It clearly seems to be a hardware problem.
